It was the other party that was responsible and they avoided doing their job! It took me 15 min. to do something that could have been done way before the hearing. When I finally went to finalize the settlement they had spelled my name wrong, had the wrong address, and his phone number as my phone number. It all had to be changed which took more time. Wouldn't you think someone in his office would go over paperwork to make sure it is right? This nightmare is finally over! It is hard to have faith in attorneys, at least this one! He took it personal that I wanted to get my time over with and instead of getting me my minimum sentance tacked on another year because he was mad I was taking my time. At this point I had been dealing with the injustice system for years in and out . My fault yes but I was on drugs and on a horrible path. I just wanted to take my time and guess what I haven't stepped foot back in a jail since then . Best decision I made . But he was horrible I got two years for a petty retail theft charge !!! I should have gotten one year. Not one public offender would have not been able to get me one year instead I pay all this money for an attorney to take something Personal and not do his job correctly . I still don't understand why he was offended that I was taking my time. Anyways go with somone else. He did not do his job correctly at all.
