The enrollment process itself was straightforward. Unfortunately, our experience after enrollment raised concerns for me regarding staff training, classroom management, communication with parents, and the unenrollment process. My son had recently experienced an abrupt transition from a daycare he loved, and he had only been enrolled for a couple of weeks when his teacher pulled me aside at pickup and said, "He was doing a phenomenal job listening the first week or so, and now he's just not listening. Is there something going on at home?" I was surprised that the first explanation offered was something happening outside of school rather than examining what might be contributing to the behavior within the classroom environment. At the time, my son had no history of behavioral issues, and I believed he was still adjusting to a major transition. I also suspected he may have been under-stimulated. I suggested that when he appeared disengaged, he might benefit from being redirected toward a task or activity. Compounding my concern was the fact that another child had repeatedly been aggressive toward my son, including incidents of physical hitting. We brought these concerns to the school's attention, but the behavior continued, leaving me feeling that the situation was not being adequately monitored or addressed. After discussing the situation with educators from other preschool programs, I learned that many early childhood professionals first evaluate classroom dynamics, developmental needs, peer interactions, and environmental factors before assuming challenges originate at home. That perspective aligned more closely with my own understanding of child development. Ultimately, I decided not to keep my son enrolled through kindergarten and informed the school of my decision. What followed was the most disappointing part of the experience. Shortly after notifying the school, I received multiple calls encouraging me to keep my child enrolled. During one conversation, I was told that withdrawing him could result in being responsible for 20% of future kindergarten tuition because staffing decisions had already been made. When I expressed surprise, I was told, "This is a business, and we hired accordingly." While I understand that schools must plan financially, the conversation felt focused on retaining revenue rather than understanding the concerns that led to our decision. For an organization that places a strong emphasis on faith and community, I left feeling that financial considerations were prioritized over family experience. Every family's experience will be different, but ours ultimately left us feeling unheard. We are confident there are many excellent educational options available, and we are grateful to have found a different path for our son.

The review posted does not match the reality that many of us have experienced, and it includes claims that are either exaggerated and simply not true. It also contains comments that look down on families with lower income, which is prejudiced, entitles and outright UN-Christian. Our school community includes families from every background, and that diversity is one of its strengths. My children have always been treated with kindness and respect. Any time I have heard about student conflict, the staff responded quickly and professionally. The school takes bullying seriously and does not ignore concerns. Suggesting that nothing is done or that the environment is unsafe does not reflect what truly happens on campus. The teachers my children have had are qualified, supportive, and dedicated. I have never seen a situation where someone was teaching a subject outside of their training or credentials. And if they did, it means they have multiple endorsements. Unless you are a teacher, how on earth can you make that call about someone's personal endorcements and qualifications. What an odd thing to assume. Class sizes have been appropriate, and classroom environments are comfortable, safe, as well as managed. My 2 children have never been in a room where students were packed in or unable to learn. The comments about financial aid are especially troubling!! Scholarships and tuition assistance exist so that children from all kinds of families can access a Christian education. Speaking poorly about families who receive help is hurtful and suggests a bias that does not belong in a school review. Financial aid does not increase tuition for other parents, and claiming that it does spreads lies and misinformation. If you really want to have a bias, take a free tour. The school is pretty amazing and offers free tours all the time.

I didn't want her in the concrete jungle that schools have become. Even more spectacular is the teaching staff at GHA, and the supporting administration. The teachers give everything they have to their classes every day. The kids are so excited to go to school they can't wait for the doors to unlock in the morning. My daughter is excelling in this supportive environment. The staff knows every child that attends and every parent who comes to campus. We are committed to investing in our daughter's future at this school. We know it will equip her to excel in any environment as she develops her passion for learning and seeking information for herself. She is already comfortable and adept at presenting herself in front of groups. She is thoughtful and creative in her writing. Her fellow students are supportive, and her adventures in learning astound us every day. Visit the campus, you will be glad you did. Speak to the teachers, they will give you their time. Since I chose Cadence based on reviews, I wish just one parent was honest with the issues going on…read morehere for apparently many years even before we arrived. This place is a logistical mess. They are short staffed constantly putting care into constant question and they have to rotate students who can't come to school that day because they don't pay their staff enough at all to stay. Teachers leave all the time. New ones come in, then leave shortly after. They're good with the kids, but for the astronomical cost that they keep raising, Cadence should come with peace of mind at least that you'll be able to get to work and know your children are being cared for by happy teachers who aren't overworked and underpaid, and constantly rotated so there is no bond formed. The gaslighting by the director on how this "isn't that bad" is obnoxious and insulting. On top of all this, they'll keep accepting new students and taking your money although they can't even handle the enrollment they have. It's all about money here. Interesting note: another Cadence location in the area had a teacher walkout because of pay and lack of training, so this is a pattern in this company. They're based in AZ and aren't local. And no matter what Cadence tells you, this is NOT NORMAL. There are a multitude of preschools in the area who do not put parents through this circus. I would highly advise you look elsewhere. This school is not at all worth the hassle. I've included photos of just a fraction of the "short staff" emails we recieved and that they're limiting classes that day or a warning that you may not be able to count on them for the day. If you have a very flexible schedule with work and don't need to follow any sort of structure in your personal life, this is the place for you. And to the teachers who do stay longer than a few weeks: you're saints and you should be paid a living wage.

They don't plan very well when they know a math teacher will be in maternity leave amd have gotten subs that can't answer geometry questions. Several kids were failing that year. They also have had a new Spanish teacher the last five years, one of which was teaching a different dialect from what most HS in this area teach amd he was difficult to understand, even as someone who is fluent in Spanish. Another time was super unorganized and my child didn't learn much and another of which my child had to help her with certain words in Spanish I! They also don't offer a lot of the classes other private schools are able to at least compete with public schools. Also admin doesn't like to deal with problems and like to turn their back on them or ignore them as though they don't exist. K-6 was good but I would highly recommend going somewhere else 7-12th. If you do put your kid here for secondary be prepared for the fact that there are still the same problems that other schools have, kids doing drugs and alcohol, fighting, name calling, bullying, threats, sexting, drama, and kids engaging in sexual activity. Oh and none of their sports teams are very good and there's no cuts so everyone gets to play so it's not competitive at all.
