He helped us schedule the day to make the most of our time while still being mindful of the flow. We had a few special requests, like a photoshoot with our dog Bowie on the Embarcadero, and he made it all happen seamlessly. He also planned ahead to capture us at sunset overlooking the Bay Bridge, which turned into one of our favorite shots. We originally chose Robin for his incredible candid photography (since we're not naturals at posing), and we are so glad we did! Even our guests commented on how many wonderful candids he captured. At the same time, he guided us through posed photos when needed and brought a creative vision that went far beyond the basics we had in mind. Once my session was over, she explained to me the process for getting my album. She gave me options for the cover and let me choose the photos I wanted in the album. So we are waiting about 30 mins in total for our session. Would advise to give notice or not book back to back bookings if unable to stay on schedule. A lot of families esp with younger kids or infants might find it challenging to keep their little ones entertained and happy while waiting. The session itself was good - Elaine was professional and recommended poses for us, as well as listening to our asks/ vision and trying to bring that vision to life. The location was outdoors / near a park/ surrounded by trees. However given the time of year there was a lot of colorful foliage and backdrops that would've been nice to incorporate but did not. But ultimately it depends on the "look" or vibe you are going for. With a mini session I understand we were working with limited options. I would think a full session would offer much more flexibility and creativity. The photos themselves are alright. As expected given the price point. I'm happy we were able to squeeze in a holiday session last minute that didn't break the bank completely. Great for a one time experience, unsure I would book again in the future.
