But how hard would it have been to actually put him in a real casket. I can not stop seeing him in that cardboard box. As a parent it is hard enough. My uncle passed away in Kansas and was cremated. That Mortuary actually set up a room and a real casket with flower and all. I was the only family member that was able to go. So it was all for me. I hope that this helps them think about it and how it makes the ones left feel.

My family and I trusted this funeral home with my late father, they returned him to us in a damaged…read morescattering urn (see the large dent on the inside and the gap that allowed the ashes to escape) that resulted in some of the ashes spilling around my kitchen. Upon calling back to inform them what happened, June ultimately blamed us for this experience, explaining that they would never sell a damaged product and not apologizing once. On the phone, the funeral director Harvey said he witnessed the cremains being put into a sealed bag and an intact urn, and picked up yesterday. The ashes were not in a bag and were picked up days ago. I would not wish this experience on anyone, nobody should have to pick up the remains of a loved one off the floor due to somebody's negligence.

I felt they phoned it in, and were barely present during a very difficult time in our family's time of grief. The only call I received from them was to receive payment. They also had told us they would send us help for the obituary. We received nothing. They didn't bother to call to tell us that my father's ashes were ready. We ended up having to call them. They also didn't call us to let us know about his death certificates. I'm out of town and was promised that they would send the death certificates via express mail. They didn't. Again, among the many, many other things that we have to deal with, we had to follow up with them instead of getting a phone call to tell us the most basic information and the information we did get - that they'd mail the death certificates- was wrong. We did not contract with them for the funeral services, which I'm really glad at this point that we did not. However, maybe if we spent more money with them, they would've been more responsive. Overall, I would absolutely not recommend this organization and would suggest looking elsewhere when you are faced with the death of a family member.

We did not know how it would work because my parents have moved a few times since. The hospice nurse who came the morning my Dad passed called and dealt with Jeff. Jeff is a funeral director at this funeral home. He called me and was so very professional and understanding. He arranged from hours away to find a local funeral home to deal with us. He kept in touch with me during the whole process. He even did what he could from there so the funeral home we dealt with didn't have to. The funeral home near by never even called us or confirmed anything just let Jeff do everything. I highly recommend this funeral home, ask to see Jeff he is very knowledgeable and caring. It was great everything was preplanned the only charges that change is the price of death certificates. Jeff was up front and honest about the difference. Thank you Jeff you made the process so much easier in this sad time.

Very unprofessional. the babies obituary was not posted…read moreonline until just hours before the service. the service was to be live-streamed for family across the street who could not be there... oops they forgot! when we Arrived we realized they had not set anything up and when asked for some direction as to where to set up was met with rudeness and sarcasm. you did however turn a horrible situation into a nightmare!
