My parents prepaid years ago with this Funeral home but they had another location in Suntree that has since closed. We did not know how it would work because my parents have moved a few times since. The hospice nurse who came the morning my Dad passed called and dealt with Jeff. Jeff is a funeral director at this funeral home. He called me and was so very professional and understanding. He arranged from hours away to find a local funeral home to deal with us. He kept in touch with me during the whole process. He even did what he could from there so the funeral home we dealt with didn't have to. The funeral home near by never even called us or confirmed anything just let Jeff do everything. I highly recommend this funeral home, ask to see Jeff he is very knowledgeable and caring. It was great everything was preplanned the only charges that change is the price of death certificates. Very unprofessional. the babies obituary was not posted online until just hours before the service. the service was to be live-streamed for family across the street who could not be there... oops they forgot! when we Arrived we realized they had not set anything up and when asked for some direction as to where to set up was met with rudeness and sarcasm. you did however turn a horrible situation into a nightmare! read more

Funeral homes are not the type of places you want to patronize often, but you are need of these services, Beach Funeral Home is the place to go. My father passed away recently, and Beach said and did all the right things the right way. This was the first time I've dealt with a funeral home and it was nothing like the horror stories I've heard about other funeral homes (high pressure, over-selling, over-charging, etc.) Chris, his family and associates treated my mother, our family and friends with the utmost respect. They went out of their way to bring comfort to my mother, and I really appreciate that. Also, this was probably not the usual for Beach with my Dad dying out-of-state and then being buried in yet another state after conducting the local funeral, but they knew what to do and did everything right. I could not have had a better experience than I had with Beach Funeral Home. They came quickly after they were called by the local police. Isabel, my funeral director was patient and kind, and took care of everything that she could in order to make it easier for me, having just lost my husband. In addition, about a week later, I began to get weekly emails that guided me through the mountain of things I had to do to finalize my husband's affairs. There were even scripts for phone calls if I couldn't find the words. The obituaries were easy to get to the newspapers, one in Montreal Canada, handled professionally and efficiently by Sharon. On January 25, 2020, Beach Funeral Home did an outstanding job setting up for my Nephews service. During the service, there were well over 150 attendees. Flowers were arranged throughout 2 rooms along with the tables which dispayed his photos and the Chapel was set up with flowers and his casket. Thank you to the staff members who took care of the attendees and my family members. Thank you to Chaplain Hodges who presented the Funeral service to all. Scott Caron is blessed and he will be missed. This funeral home did a great presentation and I would recommend them. read more

Please, please, please read reviews before you hire this sorry excuse of a facility to handle your loved one's final wishes/remains. Dealing with this place has been a nightmare from the start. My family is not local & we were trying to handle the process of getting my grandmother cremated. We were asked by staff (none of which will admit to who instructed us to do what) to complete the authorization for cremation and disposition form (which states right on it, it is a legal document), and copy of our identification. We asked who all needed to sign the paperwork as there are 4 surviving children. Was told by staff that only my mother needed to sign because she was the "personal representative" of the will. A local family member had visited in office to make payment only. According to the facility, nothing else had been done by said family member. My grandmother's remains were not ready for her memorial service. The LEGAL document that we were required to complete indicated that the remains were to be given back to my mother, the "personal representative". When in town for the service, my mother went to the facility and finalized any other information needed in person. It was at that time the funeral director, Ted Currie convinced my mother to agree to giving half of the remains to the local family member to had come in to make payment for the services previously. She hesitantly agreed. My mother never received a call that the remains were ever ready for pick up. My mother called to check and see what was going on. We were given the run around for WEEKS! Phone calls were not returned. Staff refused to speak to us. Finally we were told that ALL of my Grandmother's remains were given to this other family member who happens to be mentally ill- hence why my grandmother made my mother her personal representative. The funeral director, Ted, personally told my mother that they did give ALL the remains back to him and that he was going to personally try to go to his home to compromise with him and get back what was not RIGHTFULLY given to him. The facility has not addressed the situation. I called and spoke to Isabel Vieira and told her that all of this was unacceptable & demanded the records they had on file showing signatures from other family member. They claim they have to get with their legal department. I was then accused of harassment for calling twice in one day. I asked for their license numbers and Isabel Vieira intentional gave me an incorrect license number. I have since located that information on the state website & will be making complaints to there licensing board. This is a sorry excuse for an establishment. They have at no point apologized for the pain they have caused my grieving family and irreversible mistake on their part. We will never have my Grandmother's remains and we have Beach Funeral home and their sorry staff to thank for that. Can't say enough of how awful my family's experience was with Beach Funeral Home. Wouldn't want an animal buried by these people nonetheless a human being. Burying a loved one is hard enough without having to deal with inept, uncaring, unprofessional people. You just don't need additional heartache at a time like this. Horrible experience dealing with Beach Funeral Home. They did not print my grandmother's obituary after confirming it was correct! Rushed us to leave her service to sit around the burial site. Did not prepare us for what to expect at the burial site. Overall very unprofessional and rude. Gave them ample opportunities to correct their mistakes but they chose not to. Obituary was never printed. Unbelievable. Go elsewhere for your loved ones! read more

Hi. I just wanted to express the experience with Beach Funeral Home. They took care of my cousin who passed away while in Vitas on Merritt Island , Fl. They were very experienced and took care of my cousin from the time they picked her up until she was cremated, and after because the cremains needed to be picked up. For starters this place took three hours to come to pick up my Mom after she died. Then the man, who was very nice , asked for help with the body... really? Why not bring two people ? Also, had to remind the Funeral Home to put my Moms Obituary on their webpage. They seemed surprised it was not there . Then , when my Dad picked up the Urn/Box, it was uneven on the bottom.. really bad workmanship . Overall, I think a lot of elderly people use this home since there is not much else in the community . Really not impressed ! I can imagine people spend a fortune here with the pushy salesman / director. So glad my brother and I were there to field the questions , and make decisions . read more
