As I entered I was greeted by a very friendly lady asking if I needed help or was looking for anything in particular. I told her I was just browsing so she backed off. As I walked through the store I saw all kinds of sparkly accessories, dresses, shoes, purses and cute outfits. All displays were put together perfectly by colour and many included shoe combinations to go with the outfit. As I wandered about and fell in love with a pair of shoes the sales lady appeared. She explained that their speciality is putting outfits together for people or accessorizing and outfit that someone brings into the store. (she must have noticed the confused look on my face) Perfect!!! I am always in a rush and I am not so good at putting things together so, I picked up the shoes and then......... I asked what would go with the shoes. Yes, I know it was kinda like shopping backwards.... picking shoes first then the outfit. Not bad for someone who was just browsing. Next thing I knew, I ended up purchasing a lovely summer dress and a hand bag to go with the dress and some bling bling bracelets. I left the store with a huge smile then thought to myself now I need a fresh haircut....It was easy shopping and very well priced. I will be back.

I think they're the best designed, best merchandised and most shoppable apparel store in the mall (compared to American Eagle, H&M & Old Navy). The planners spaced it out nicely, room to move around, racks & tables not overstuffed like the others, and the staff have executed it well. Also very clean, the salespeople are always accessible (without hovering) and are always behaving professionally. As for the corporate pricing decisions... that's another matter. $108 for a paper-thin vest with no closable pockets? I think somebody's been hitting that legal weed a little too hard! Even at 50% off during Boxing Week, that's too much. Competitors had basically same product (with an inside pocket!) in the $29-$40 range and a Joe Fresh is $24.99. This is a $30 item and no amount of "branding" will sell it to me for more. There are other examples of such pricing. But really nice store though, I would recommend for those who have a more casual relationship with their money.

Five years ago, I lost sixty pounds. I can say that I don't have to worry about not fitting into anything at Gap and its sister companies. I had to do a huge wardrobe makeover. So, I ended up being a Gap girl. I like this store. I know which side of the store I need to be on (right) to be on the women's section. I also go deep into the back corner of the store to find the sales racks. Today, I bought a turquoise sweater. It was already marked down by 40%. I got an additional 40% off the lowest sale price. I paid $20 with tax. I would never have bought this sweater at regular price. The fitting rooms are clean, roomy, and bright. Staff are always helpful. (208)

BIG oversight by the store and a headache to deal with on the day of the baptism!

For example during the holidays, they had all the Santa and snowmen fleece onesies and Christmas outfits at the front for easy browsing. They also do a lot of promotions and clearance sales once in a while. The selection of toys are decent and most are very used not gently used but the clothing selection is great. In the back there are also many bins filled with shoes and sometimes the sizes are not sorted well but still decent selection for each size. Staff are nice and checkout is always a breeze. Have yet to sell anything to them so can not say for that end but as a buyer I'm satisfied and do keep coming back to check out new stock.

I have been here countless times over the past couple of decades. Yes, I will say that this store is at least twenty years old. I can't tell you why I've never posted a bunch of photos or reviewed this Winners. Better now than never! This Winners is on the second floor of CF Markville Mall. It's next door to Auric King, which used to be where the Pickle Barrel was for years. It's kind of weird to not see this eatery next door to Winners. Years ago, I would go shopping at Winners with a friend. Afterwards, we'd have dinner at the Pickle Barrel. It was always an enjoyable outing. The Winners remains huge and spacious. Why? Many moons ago, it was the second floor of Walmart. I was early for my eye appointment, so I spent some time at Winners before I headed over there. I spent most of my time in the beauty products section. Sadly, Winners doesn't seem to carry the gel nail strips that I like anymore. However, it did have the cutest plush croissant keychain. I looked at nail polish, lip gloss, eye shadow, and more. The beauty section was extensive and fun to browse. I headed briefly over to the winter coats section. There was lots of variety. i didn't need one, but it was nice to browse. The store was busy at around 4:30 pm. Many high school students were in this store, which made me smile. It was nice to see that there are still teens who like to hang out at a mall like I used to. I should stop by more often. This store is by mall entrance 6. It's where I like to park my car at the mall. There's lots of parking and there's a marked pedestrian crossing that I like. (464)

I was a bit concerned that since they were about to close the associates will not entertain checking stocks for sizes anymore. But to my surprise, Catherine was particularly very attentive to our needs and even went back to their stockroom a couple of times to get me a more suitable size. It was excellent customer service! The only issue I had was when we were paying I didn't check the price. When the cashier scanned the item, the price was a lot higher than what was on the tag. The item was supposed to be 40% off but in effect, I ended up paying for the full price... So I recommend this store but do check your items and receipt before you leave.

But simliar to other Winners locations (where we were prior to coming here). The only thing I wasn't pleased about was the service at the cash tonight. There was one girl cleaning up (who could have helped with the long line up) and one person at cash. Although he was friendly, he kept flirting/chatting with her and it was clearly distracting him from his job! One of my pet peeves and so unprofessional. He also forgot to remove my security tag, I guess because he wasn't focused. They close at 7pm on Saturdays.

This location is a good size and similar to most of the other Winners locations…read more The selection of items at this location is usually pretty good, you can usually find a phone charger in the electronics section which is what I seem to always end up at Winners for, I may have a phone charger problem, lol You will also find empty boxes as well from shoplifters so make sure the actual product is in the box before paying for an empty box. The service is always slow and never enough cashiers open, which makes me sometimes just leave my items behind as I don't need them that bad. You need time and patience when shopping here.
