Great instructor. Very informative. The hands on examples helped a lot with retaining the information and procedures.

I completed CPR training in February 2026 in Colorado and initially, the process itself was smooth…read more I can certainly acknowledge that. However, there were significant issues with the training setup that ultimately led to an injury. Due to the room configuration, I was unable to properly reach the mannequins and had to perform CPR on my tiptoes. The table was not adjustable, and no stool or accommodation was available. As a result of these poor ergonomics and lack of proper setup, I sustained a neck and trapezius injury mid-cycle. Ended up having to literally crawl on to the table . At the time, I reached out simply to provide feedback in hopes of preventing a similar experience for others especially individuals under 5 feet tall. The initial response I received was apologetic, and I appreciated that. However, after enduring five weeks of significant pain, I followed up to ask about the appropriate process before seeking medical care, as providers often ask for details about how an injury occurred. Unfortunately, the response I received at that point was defensive and dismissive, referencing a signed waiver rather than addressing the concern. The response was unfortunate. I fully understand that CPR training can be physically demanding. However, participants should be provided with a safe and properly adjusted environment to perform these skills. In this case, the setup did not allow for that and contributed directly to my injury. As a side note, I happened to have the session recorded (originally intended for social media), and it clearly shows the moment the injury occurred. Overall, I'm very disappointed in both the lack of appropriate setup and the company's response. I am still dealing with daily neck pain without resolution.

The equipment wasn't clean and wasn't ready to go for my skills test appointment. The bag was missing the mask! I couldn't find the replacement until I looked under the manikins table and in one of the drawers. That wasted time. There should have been a spare set ready to go for my skills test upon check-in on the table. It was extremely hot in the room as well! There was no air conditioning in the room on a hot 90 degree day. I was literally dripping sweat doing the simulations until I realized there was a portable air conditioner. I did turn on the portable unit. It took awhile to cool down the room. Again, wasting time. The proctor had to intervene a few times because the internet connection was poor! It lost connectivity a couple of times and the connection was spotty. The person was very helpful but hard to understand. The instructions that were given were vague. On a positive note, the online portion was "excellent"! The course work was very convenient, easy to follow, and the videos were great! I loved doing the online modules prior and than doing the skills test from 4:00PM to 5:00PM. This saved a lot of time. I appreciate this option. My only recommendation is for the skills test on exam day to be ready to go for the scheduled appointment and better organized with complete kits to perform the skills tests. Also, a more reliable internet connection. Thank you for offering the Hybrid class! I would definitely consider testing this option again because my work schedule and the convenience, but with the hope that it would be more organized. I am certified for the next 2-years, so we are good. Thank you again. Have a great week!

I've renewed my BLS many times with other companies, but this guy really teaches to save lives. The only issue I have is that I asked for CEU's and was never given them. Super important if you need them for a job. They never got back to me after I asked if I could get them. I also got an email stating that I'd probably pay more money, when on the website, it states they give CEU's when taking this class. Overall, class was great with a great instructor. Just a little disorganize when it comes to the CEU's. Hopefully no one has to deal with this when they need the CEU's.

When I checked the website, all of the dates were full, but I ended up calling and speaking to a very lovely lady who helped me sign up for some spots she had available. On the day of the course, I came in not really knowing what to expect. Dallas Shelly was my instructor, and honestly, he was amazing. He made the class feel super comfortable, very engaging, and adjusted how he taught the material based on everyone's level of experience. By the end of it, I felt very satisfied and just wanted to come on here and say how easy the whole process was. They gave the certification at the end of the course, and overall, if I had to do this again, I'd definitely come back here. Oh, and Patrick the admin guy was nice as well.

My experience with this program was extremely disappointing and, at times, felt misleading…read more Students pay around $1,200-$1,500 for the course alone, then are required to pay additional costs for uniforms, supplies, and other materials that are not clearly explained upfront. In my experience, students were often told to purchase materials with little notice, sometimes the night before or even the same day they were needed, and some of those materials were never used at all. The quality of instruction also did not match the cost of the program. A large portion of the coursework was labeled as "self-study," with instructors frequently telling students to "read it on your own" rather than actually teaching the material during class. As a student, it felt frustrating to pay for instruction and support while being expected to teach myself much of the material. Students were also assigned handwritten "Signs and Symptoms" homework assignments that took a significant amount of time to complete but were never actually reviewed or gone over in class. With the large amount of material already being assigned, this often took away from valuable study time without providing much educational benefit. On quiz days, instructors would often quickly go over one or two chapters right before the quiz and then expect students to fully remember and understand all of the material immediately afterward. Personally, I felt there was not enough actual teaching, review, or preparation before being tested. During skills days, much of the equipment was broken or unusable, which made it difficult to practice properly. With around 60 students per class all paying nearly $1,500, I believe there should have been enough functioning equipment available for students. Another concern was the Block 2 exam. A new exam format was introduced, and the class average was reportedly around 60%, which made many students, including myself, feel that we were not properly prepared or set up for success. There were also multiple questions covering a topic that had never been discussed during lectures, which made the exam feel unfair and confusing for many students. I also spoke with many students throughout the class about their experiences with the program. A large handful mentioned that this was their second time taking the course because they had failed it the first time, which was honestly concerning to hear so often. The program also charges a $50 fee to reschedule ride-alongs regardless of the reason, including family emergencies or serious illness, and this policy was not clearly communicated beforehand. I also felt that students were often not clearly told why they failed certain tests or skills evaluations or what specific areas they needed to improve on. Because of this, I often felt unable to properly learn from my mistakes or understand what needed to be corrected moving forward. Overall, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this program. It often felt more focused on collecting money than supporting students and helping them succeed.
