Great experience so far. Clean bathrooms and changing rooms. It seems like this 1-1 swim coaching is the way to go for young swimmers versus big classes. We love this kids' swim coaches now. I actually have holds on their classes to move my baby into when they are ready. Coach Colton has been great for my oldest. I see him do well with kids of all ages, but he definitely excels with the age 6+ group. He is teaching my son all the correct strokes and working on refining techniques and prepping for the swim team. I appreciate how reliable he has been and provides consistency to my child. He has somehow been able to challenge my child in a way that my kid is asking to do more and striving to be better. I didn't think we would be doing swim team (just wanted kids to not drown), but after working with Colton that's the new goal! Coach Adam is another angel. He pairs very well with my middle child. Adam seems to enjoy working with a kid even when the kid is difficult. I think the kids can sense that he appreciates them and that Adam loves his job. He plays with the kids at their level ... my kid is always trying to finish his classes with my Adam tossing him in the water or being silly with him. He is very skilled at redirecting kids and working on what makes sense for the kid that day. Observing him with other students, I get the sense that he has the gift of working well with children on the spectrum too. He seems to earn the trust of the kids and still push them on their skills. Coach Olivia is another great reliable coach. She made swimming fun for my kids and taught them all the basics. The first few months of lessons for a new swimmer isn't so rewarding for the parents because the child is doing necessary basics like floating and swim-roll-swim and it doesn't look like traditional swimming. I thank her for building all those necessary skills because now I can see them paying off and it all makes sense! read more

She has been absolutely wonderful--so patient, kind, and genuinely thoughtful in how she teaches. What really stands out is how she tailors her approach to each child. She makes learning fun by gamifying the process and tapping into what kids already love. For example, my son is obsessed with cars, and she'll "race" with him in the pool to keep him engaged. We have had a really amazing experience with Aqua Duks after trialing another site. While others feel like a swimming mill, aqua Duks have a really small ratio with their parent and me (2 kids per instructor) swim lessons and even private lessons. This helps keep the two pools spacious and less chaotic for the swimmers to learn. Our 2 year old daughter has been working with Joseph for the past 6 months, and the amount of progress that she has made is incredible. We were afraid that her first swim lesson elsewhere left her with PTSD, but with Joseph, lessons have been gentle and child-led. Overall we're very pleased with the staff and structure of the business! We want to shout out our favorite instructors who are Kathryn and Colton! We love Aquaduks! We've been bringing our toddler here since she was 5 months old. The parent and me infant classes are a great way to get your baby comfortable in the water. We've been in 1:1 lessons for over a year now, and my kid loves her teacher and her lessons so much! She's gotten very confident in the water, and has developed important water safety skills. We love Aqua Duks! I have been taking my son here for over a year now since he was 5 months old. We started in the parent & me class and did that for a while and really loved it! My son loved going every week and really learned to love the pool and become very comfortable in the water. In October, we started their new program, Parent Taught. This class is like the in between parent & me and private lessons. Since my son is still under 2, I wanted to continue to get in the pool and have that bonding time, but upping what he was learning on a weekly basis. I'm extremely disappointed with Aqua Ducks. My son was assigned to a trainer named Aiden, who pinched my child during a lesson. My son later told me he was scared to go back because of what happened. That alone should never happen in a children's swim class. The only "solution" they offered was switching us to a different instructor, but they kept the trainer who hurt my son. That was the biggest red flag for me. When a staff member puts their hands on a child in an inappropriate or aggressive way, there should be real consequences not a simple shuffle of instructors. I will not be returning, and I think parents should be aware of how this was handled. My child's safety comes first, and Aqua Ducks failed to make me feel like they take that seriously. read more

We love this swim school but our major concern is if you miss a day. You're pretty much SOL. They give you a "makeup" token but the problem here. The only availible times are a random weekday at like 11am or 1pm and even then you're stuck with a teacher who doesn't even know your child's skill level. So that's a waste of your time. WHO THE HECK IS ABLE TO MAKE THAT WITH A KID IN SCHOOL?! No one. Then you can't use the token you paid for already and then the expires and you're out $52... bummer. IMO if you miss a class and say you'll be absent you shouldn't have to pay for it when you can't even get a proper makeup class. It would be different if there was actual availability. 3 stars as we loved Ms Sidon and Ms Piper rocks, so we'll continue to go here but the scheduling and billing really is not the greatest. We cannot say enough great things about Aqua Duks Swim School. When my son started his very first lesson at three years old, he was extremely scared of the water. He cried through the entire class and didn't want to cooperate at all. We were honestly worried and even considered waiting until he was older and more "ready" to learn how to swim. But Coach Colton completely changed everything. He is incredibly patient, kind, and truly understands how to work with young children. He never rushed my son and always stayed calm, positive, and encouraging. The supervisors and staff at Aqua Duks were also very supportive during those first difficult weeks, which helped our family get through the beginning phase with confidence. Fast forward two months, and the transformation has been amazing. My son is now very comfortable in the water and actually looks forward to going to swim class every day. His skills have improved tremendously -- he can paddle confidently, roll over, and do a tummy float. We are beyond impressed with his progress. He was even recognized as "Duck of the Month," which gave him such a strong sense of accomplishment and confidence. It has been incredible to see how much he has grown -- not just in swimming skills, but in bravery and self-confidence as well. We've been coming to Aqua Duks for the past 5 months and my kids LOVE it! We have tried so many swim schools in the past but this one is worth its weight in gold. The staff is always extremely kind and welcoming, they have plenty of times available to accommodate our family, and my kids have grown into very confident swimmers. Coach Colton is the most kind and patient swim instructor. My son is 3 and was so nervous initially and cried (a lot) at first and Coach Colton was so patient with him. My son even threw up on him at one point and Coach Colton was completely unfazed by it (I would have been absolutely disgusted; he didn't bat an eye). The way they have been able to make so much progress in the few short months that we have been there is a testament to everything the school is doing right. Overall the staff is nice The problem is they are not consistent and do not know information/give misinformation and do not try to make it right. The parent and me classes are very redundant and the child does not progress. Each front desk person gave different information on how the progression works in regards to classes and the kids moving up. Changed to the parent taught class and it's pretty similar. Both of my kids are amazing swimmers today thanks to this school and their great teachers. We started them young and took a few breaks in between, now my daughter is in their swim team and my son will be swimming without floaties this summer. Yay!! You have other choices, sure, but you won't find a more professional team of instructors anywhere else. They take the time to hire the right people and it has paid off, some of their original instructors are now managers and supervisors. The front desk is always organized, they call you right away when there are changes, everyone is super attentive. Our son started here at 3 months and we had him in the parent and me classes (with Miss Kasity & Mr. Francisco). The structure was great because every activity had a song that went along with it. The instructors here are wonderful, letting us know tips on what to do at home and the improvements they see with our "progress book" at the end of the month. We signed up for the free sessions on babies 3-6 months. It was a fun experience for us to have with our little one during the baby and me swim sessions. It definitely helped our baby get acclimated to the water and "swim." I saw private lessons taking place in the other pool and kids of all ages and the instructors all seem to care and enjoy their job. I would recommend Aqua Duks to other parents with babies but would need to share a disclaimer that we should have paid closer attention to... -Make sure to end your enrollment on time or they will charge you for an entire month's worth of classes. We ended up paying for additional sessions that we didn't need. -Use your makeup sessions before your enrollment ends because you CAN'T use them even if they don't expire for a few weeks. -their app is tricky to navigate, make sure to ask for help learning it - once you know it easy to use! -pool isn't deep but if you're a short parent, it can get difficult navigating through all the other parents with your baby if you're short Overall, I recommend them!
