Man! I was dreading this class, but Brian made it so much easier for me and taught really well. He's a very personable guy and what makes him better is that he's a very good teacher. Brian! An amazing instructor who simplifies and desires to educate people in an effective and efficient way! I registered for a Thursday class, on a Wednesday, and waited for a confirmation email with information about the payments and class. Yet, I did not receive one so I emailed Brian directly. He immediately responded within minutes and let me know the class was canceled. He apologized and gave me alternative solutions. Brian suggested that I take the Blended Course and he allowed me to come to the Anaheim location the very next day, which was extremely kind of him to do. I ended up registering for the Blended Course which was half online and the other half was completed in a Skills Course with Brian at the Anaheim location. The online course was a little overwhelming because it had a lot of information. It took a couple of hours to go through each section. When I completed the online course, I printed out the Online Completion Certificate and finished the Skills Course with Brian. He was extremely kind, friendly, and informative. I was the only one who he trained but he covered the material with great precision and simple understanding. I feel very comfortable with the online material because he spent an hour going over any questions I had. I finished within an hour. It was a great experience due to Brian's friendliness and helpfulness. This place is awesome! I thought I had registered for the class, but I had only reserved a spot. Even though this meant I had to fill out some extra paperwork, Brian was extremely sweet about it and he even stayed later than he was supposed to to help me get CPR certified anyway. I just got my BLS/CPR certification from Brian's class in Anaheim--it was my second time coming back to his class and I was so happy to get the reminder email about my renewal! Brian is an excellent instructor! Even before the reminder email came, I was planning to return to his class for my certification because I remembered that I really enjoyed his course when I first took his class. His classes start right on time and end right on time; he's funny, friendly and respectful; and he breaks down the material in a fun but easy-to-remember lesson (and yes, you definitely want to remember this class!)! Just took this class and honestly it's the best. I had been looking to take CPR/ First aid classes that is located around my area and affordable to. learning through hands on experience with the mannequins was fun as Brian taught us how to properly give cpr to it and how to deal with it under control. The best CPR class that I've taken! Brian is very thorough and really cares about making sure his students get the most out of the class, while making it engaging and high energy at the same time. I felt this class was more personalized and that Brian took the time to explain the reason behind the techniques so we could be the most effective. The class takes COVID precautions very seriously and he has enough class space, keeps class size to minimum, air filter system running and plenty of mask wearing and hand sanitizer. I wrote a bad review before (ended up erasing it) because I scheduled a class and it was cancelled last minute in my opinion, I contacted the owner he was unprofessional and rude on the phone , I chopped it up to him having a bad day. I was taking the class to get rehired at Ucp, imagine my surprise when at the interview the bad review I left was discussed in length. So instead of resolving the issue that I was having he went ahead and told my former/potential employer about it. I stand by what I said in my first review and in this one, and of course I did not get rehired at Ucp obviously because of this. I would warn anyone who takes this class about the owner , and whatever you do , do not leave a bad review it could cost you your employment. Also, the classroom is about the size of a large closet so there cannot be any social distancing as claimed, if you are a girl you will pass the class with ease , if you are a guy you may be picked on , after taking the class in the past several times I would recommend any other provider. read more
