What a great class, Trevor did a great job teaching us all the things we need to know!

I've been CPR certified and recertified for the last 7 years and this was by far my best CPR instruction yet. Trevor is well informed-- if not overly informed giving us the best of the best instruction to be certified. 10/10 experience, highly recommend to hire. Look this information can help monotonous at times, but Trevor made it applicable, exciting, well-thought through, truly professional. You'll leave with no questions because this guy had the answers.

I am a high school teacher in charge of the medical pathway and Life Saving Certified was able to run a class for 50 of my students. It was very informative and engaging. I recently got my ACLS, PALS, and BLS renewal at Life Saving Certified. Robert is a great instructor. I appreciated that he provided so much hands on practice with mannequins and explained everything in depth. He was able to correct technique in a supportive manner. As future doctors, the acls class was rushed and very cursory, and did not prepare us for running codes or go over drugs and their side effects... I feel like most of us have to go over the book by ourselves all over again. The instructor Christopher was funny and told stories about himself, but as an instructor he was not very effective. read more

I'm currently in the "paperwork" phase of being hired as an emergency department PA and was in need of getting my PALS certification as soon as possible. I was able to schedule a PALS class the very next day without any problems. My instructor was Trevor, who was really helpful and was able to answer any questions that I had. This is a top notch program! Our instructor, Frank, was awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. A few of us had questions before the exam, and he never made us feel uncomfortable or rushed when asking questions. This class was great! I went in to get my BLS certificate and I got my card on the same day. This is super convenient especially for me who works full time. Trevor was thorough, straight to the point, and the whole class was really paying attention to what he was teaching. The equipment that he had worked properly and they were clean. Came here for my PALS certification renewal. Instructor was clear, concise, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him for any certifications and will definitely be coming back for further renewals. The class is tucked away in the back of a bunch of other small businesses. I recommend coming about ten minutes early, because it might take a few minutes of walking before finding the actual classroom. read more

Established in 2008.

Life Saving Certified was started May of 2008 on a principle to get as many people certified in life saving techniques! It's something that is easy and that anyone can learn. As a firefighter paramedic, I was always surprised of how any people don't know this life saving skill.

Meet the Business Owner: Trevor B.

Trevor started in the fire service in June of 2000. He loved the thrill and excitement of being a firefighter. But more importantly, he likes to give back to his community. Trevor started Life Saving Certified in May 2008 to try to teach an easy life saving skill to as many people as possible. Trevor is a firefighter paramedic with Riverside County Fire. When it comes to basic CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, Trevor knows the subjects very well! This is something he does everyday at fire department. If you have any questions, just ask! We hope to see you in one of our classes!

Some were students who just graduated high school and some were in their 30's! Some students' goals were becoming a nurse, firefighter, or doctor/ surgeon. It was fantastic getting to know each other's goals and stories :) - Note: 6 week course was quite demanding and required many hours of self-studying (to review or read ahead before we were given lectures). Every Wednesday was a day off so we were able to catch up and study whatever we needed. I LOVED the class. Trevor was an excellent instructor with a wealth of knowledge and experience. His lighthearted humor was appropriately placed within the lighter moments of the training and his profound passion for the lives of others was abundantly transparent and clearly expressed within the more important areas of the training. Trevor gave great examples throughout the training and even elevated the experience by giving further insight into the rhymes and reasons of why certain procedures and processes were valuable to our "patients" and their survival. Most CPR trainings that I have attended have felt very awkward and stiff, which not only makes it difficult to stay awake but also a little more likely for me to tune out of the areas where there is more lecturing than training. Having said that, I can't express enough how much I truly and completely appreciated Trevor's teaching/training style. The class was very hands on and VERY informative. I am a nurse and I needed a last minute ACLS/PALS certification for my job especially since my last ACLS class flaked on me. Life Saving Certified was one of the first places that I contacted, because of how close it is to where I live. Trevor returned my class within 5 minutes and had me signed up for both an ACLS and a PALS class within 20 minutes. Their online website has a lot of options available to ensure that providers take the initial or renewal class of their choosing. Finally, their classes are taught at your pace and ensure that you understand the material before you leave for the day. My instructor for both my classes was Kriss. My ACLS expired in November and my employer alerted me three days prior to the end of the month. Thing is... Thanksgiving really made it hard to find a class before the month was over. Thank goodness that this company was willing to offer classes before the close of the month!! Instead of shopping on Black Friday, Kriss was there to offer both the ACLS and BLS combo. Although my ACLS expired next year, it's hard to keep track of both so I was excited to see a combo class. I got my eCards the same day Prices are pretty competitive, and they responded very quickly to my questions via FB messenger. Arrive a little bit early because it's a little easy to get lost in that complex. And bring a jacket, it was freezing due to the type of building it was in. First of all, coming in to this course was mandatory for me to obtain my BLS certification. After taking similar course back by St.John Ambulance in Vancouver and knowing how boring and long the course usually is, I was in that impression. But, my first impression after spending 1 hour with instructor Trevor, amazing guy!!!! Made the time breeze by swiftly. I had to renew my certification by August for an EMT program and I am glad to have found such an awesome class to do it through. Trevor is not only knowledgeable but experienced. I feel 100% satisfied with my certification. There was also an issue with scheduling and I could not make it out to a different location he was more than helpful with making it work. He answers any questions you might have and is very good and explaining things and helping you understand the importance of CPR and why things are done as they are. If you need to renew or get your certification I highly suggest going through Life Saving Certified. You will not be disappointed. read more

Trevar was AMAZING!! I've taken CPR twice and this was my third time getting certified and it was the most informative class I've ever taken. The way he teaches is so easy to learn and he's always open for questions and makes sure everyone understands what he's talking about or demonstrating. I've never received material to take home before but he provided us with a complete workbook and little reminder handouts as well which is super helpful because now if I forget anything about CPR or First Aid I have all the info I need at home. So definitely if you need to take a CPR class I highly recommend Trevar, he's so passionate about what he does and it shows. read more

Needed to renew my BLS for providers. I signed up for a class on the AHA website, the next day Trevor the owner called me to notify me the class I had reserved a spot in was canceled due to the EMT running the class having to work. He was able to get me into a class within 2 days. They start quickly get through the info, get to hands on skills and then give the test. I was in and out in about 2 1/2 hours. I got my card same day(though it's now an E-card rather than a physical one.) They offer drinks and snacks and are super friendly. I have used the company for my last two renewals, and will continue to do so. Highly recommend this place read more

So many of these classes are given by people with book-only knowledge. This was by far the BEST training I've received for CPR and AED! Trevor was a fantastic instructor with tons of knowledge and patience (we had a lot of "What-if" questions). It was awesome to receive training from a Firefighter/First Responder who had real life experience. Given the seriousness of the topic, it was refreshing how he would periodically lighten things up with humor. There were plenty of hands-on opportunities where we could apply the knowledge gained during the lecture. I highly recommend this company for your next CPR/AED training! read more

This class was the most streamlined way to get my certifications and it was in a setting, that felt comfortable, informative, playful, and filled with expertise. These classes (advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support), are packed with incredibly detailed and pertinent information, but the instructor Trevor did a fantastic job of making this mountain to climb into a joyride. Trevor went out of his way to make sure we were grasping the material, explained things clearly, used images so we could see and understand, and went over any issue needing clarification. I would like to leave my highest possible review for this company Life Saving Certified. I scheduled a class over their web site, and due to an error, I was placed in a private group at a university and was unable to attend. The owner, Trevor Boreham, knowing this was crucial for a time sensitive work requirement, sent time aside after the class to do a one on one session to complete my certification. Life Saving Certified training center for beginner training and recertification training was a great way to learn Cpr,Acls,and Pals without all the stress and worry of taking the training at work.Classes thru work increase anxiety because the student worries about their not being enough classes or flexibility of work schedule to take the training or the review classes.With Life I found flexibility and convenience.The instructor Trevor was knowledgeable and related his experience to our experience.Very well done.I will definitely return if my schedule permits in the future.Sharon read more

Trevor was great! As someone who has taken multiple CPR courses I would say this has been the best so far. His humor made time fly and I learned so much! I would definitely recommend his course for future students and anyone who is interested. It feels great to learn all about life saving from someone who has actually been in these situations before. Finding the building was a little hard for me because I kind of suck at driving but I appreciated the signs in the parking lot that were out there to help me find the building. Frank was super nice and made the class interesting. Even the chairs were super comfortable and I appreciated that when I missed a few questions on the test he went over what I got wrong and why they were wrong. He even provided free snacks and free water, this place was really nice and clean definitely coming back when my CPR license expires. read more

The Instructors here always go above and beyond making sure I know all AHA guidelines and how to apply it in real life and locally. Instructors have experience from all aspects of ACLS, PALS, and BLS, unlike those who have worked in hospitals and can delegate certain airway issues to respiratory therapists. I highly recommend Frank, he answered all my questions, and I asked a lot of questions. I actually had fun! If your looking for an informative, fun and interesting CPR and life saving instructor this is the place to go. We work at a Preschool/ daycare center and needed our teachers to get their CPR recertification. The class was fun, easy to understand and very informative. Trevor is a really excellent instructor. He made sure our class understood the material and would answer any question we had. I feel comfortable going into a healthcare profession knowing the CPR course that Trevor instructed. The class was a good length of time and he managed to fit everything in at a timely manner. I needed a same day certification for the American Heart Saver First Aid/CPR/AED card and Life Saving Certified was the best value. Almost half the price of the Red Cross option for the same skills. I attended the class in Riverside and although I was the only student booked in the course the instructor didn't cancel the class and provided one on one training for me.
