Second, I made an appointment online and then waited while walk-ins were taken ahead of me. Last and final straw, when I walked in I was told to complete an application. I asked if this was needed for ink fingerprints because I am not there for a Live Scan. I was told rudely, "everyone needs to complete one." Then when I handed over the application and showed my INK fingerprint cards they said we don't do that here. Complete waste of time and rude and unorganized at that.

The increase had not been posted on their website as of August 10th, 2022. They have lost my business.

In both cases, my instructor was Amer Tobing, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second before taking his course again when my certification expires. Although I've been CPR certified several times, Life Rescue offered more practical information than my previous certs. Amer's background as a firefighter and in emergency medical services shows, as he has a focused, no-nonsense attitude toward assessing an emergency situation and acting. He teaches us to think in a similar manner by addressing and hammering the most important things to know and remember. He also has a sense of humor, and is great at connecting with people, which makes his class more fun than I ever expected. But make no mistake: he takes his job and the subject matter very seriously, and doesn't let jokes overshadow or displace what is most important. I like how he spends a lot of time focusing on the reality of emergency situations vs. textbook scenarios, because there are some things that books won't tell you. Even though I had taken his class before, the second time around, he didn't let me off the hook if I could have performed something better. I really appreciated it, because it's sometimes the little things that can make a difference. Overall, it feels less like a class and more like practicing and discussing with a coach. I learned more each time, and further reinforced what I previously knew. I feel much more confident after having taken his course, would recommend it to anyone, and actually look forward to taking it again in the future.

There are many online CPR courses which I did take but were not valid when I submitted it to the state. I took the class with Francisco the owner which is prior military and firefighter. From day one it was really easy to get a hold of him and to arrange for the class. I got lucky that my class ended up being just me so I got to ask any questions I had and Francisco would gladly answer them. The whole experience was an easy and very insightful. I took my very first…read moreInfant/Child CPR and First Aid class with them a few years ago and it was so informational and very hands on and overall made me feel very comfortable and confident to administrate CPR or First Aid to an infant or adult. Then when my certification expired, I took my recertification with them as well. There is a lot of information to get through, and you are able to do the lessons online before the class, so you can come to the class to practice hands on and put to use what you learned online. Doug and Stacy show you the proper procedures and correct any improper way or the wrong form you may use, so that you then will know the difference and be able to do everything properly. They have plenty of equipment for the entire class and new and modern equipment, so that you can be the most prepared to learn. I highly recommend this class especially for first time CPR and First Aid students and also for recertification. You will not be disappointed!

This office is busy and they seem to know what they're doing. The reason I'm not giving it five stars is because Their cleaning seemed a little lax for my liking. The receptionist asked us to take a seat and not stand as I had requested, I intern asked if I could wash the seat off before I sat in it as someone had just left it. I also think the cleaning of the donation beds should be better in between clients. The one tech asked me why I cared so much and I told him there was a pandemic and I am a nurse and I care. I think they were glad when I left.

I usually participated in drives out in CA since there aren't many freestanding centers such as this one that are open everyday. This place and the staff are amazing and inviting. The center is clean and comfortable, and they go out of their way to make me feel appreciated for giving both my time and blood. I donated platelets for the first time ever at this center and that went very well. Though it is a two arm procedure that takes a few hours, the kind staff covered me in blankets and put on a movie for me with headphones. I also donated double red (power red) blood for the first time at this location and the staff were very attentive and helpful with that donation as well. Keep up the good work!
