It had been a full year so my year's membership would have been up. I asked to cancel on March 17. I did not receive a response from the owner. When he responded he stated that I needed to give a 30 day notice. I asked if that 30 days could then begin on March 17th? Now we are at the end of March. Finally he answers and says that my membership will be discontinued. Great!HOWEVER, I still ended up paying for all of April! This was disappointing. I understand that small businesses are hit really hard during this pandemic and I am sorry for that, but should I have been penalized by paying an extra month?
