If you're looking for a Nursery school and you want to see a bunch of strollers when you go to work out every day and hear kids scream this is your gym. Very upsetting. I loved the group fitness classes, however Lifetime continues to increase monthly dues for valued customers. Their excuse "We are continuously renovating." Being a member for little over a year I have experienced two price increases. For a single person it was costing over $210/ month. They do not offer discounts or recognition for veterans, teachers, or front line workers such as myself. I have recently joined a new gym which offers the same classes, community, and recognizes first responders at a better price. read more

Joined them a month ago. After some hesitation, given the cost. But if you don't worry much about money, there are several pluses: First of all, the pools. It is one of the few gyms in Las Vegas left after the new health regulations chaos with good access and plenty of lanes. Yes, it now costs $329 a month. Thank your local bureaucrats. Second, the gym itself. Clean, nice, great equipment. At first I thought "what's a difference? EŌS has equipment, and so do other clubs, all the same". Right? Wrong. There's a difference. Machines are better, selection is better, results are better. Unlimited towels. Constant cleaning. They do care. Now the bad: It is VERY CROWDED. You would think at $329 a month it will not be, but it is. Equipment is busy, although acceptable (some machines are always available, you just have to be flexible). But the sauna! It is literally PACKED. Frequently no seats are available and you just need to either sit on the floor or wait. Jesus, at this price point it's insane! They should definitely consider adding another sauna. It is also cold, at least to anyone who had sauna experience in Europe. But even by Las Vegas standards - it's the lowest temperature sauna I've been to. I'm sure some people like it, but some (including me) don't. Ideally, I'd like to see something I encountered once in Italy: two saunas, one hot, one cooler. Again, given their price - not too much to ask. One more negative: showers. Weak sprinkler. Water is hot, but definitely not powerful. I'd like to see rain shower heads. Again, given the price of this gym - not too much to ask. Parking- neutral. It's hard to get spots next to the building, but there's plenty in the covered garage. As long as you don't mind a short walk, it's not bad. In short, it's far from ideal, but the best out of the current (very poor) choice. If you have the money- it's probably for you. Otherwise continue to suffer EŌS or 24 hour decline. While doing research for alternate therapies, I came across lifetime and was impressed. I'm disabled and was looking forward to utilizing aqua therapy to help with my symptoms. After taking a tour,(end of November) I was told there would be approximately a two week waiting. Period. I checked back in the first week of January and was told it shouldn't be too much longer. Finally I get an email end of January saying that they no longer take my insurance. I understand things change but, if they knew which I'm sure they did previous to January 1 Why could they not inform me so that I could find a different option? The gym overall is awesome, tons of equipment, lots of group classes, clean, towels available for use, etc. HOWEVER...they really nickel and dime you on the studio classes. On top of the monthly membership fee ($160ish a month), you have to pay extra for specialty classes - Alpha is around $180 a month, Pilates classes are $20ish a class, spin classes are extra as well I believe. So basically, you're paying a membership fee to have access to classes that you have to pay fees for. If you want a great all around gym for lifting and doing decent group classes and you want something a little bougie (in a good way), this is a great spot. But if you want to take reformer Pilates or Crossfit style classes, you're going to the same or more here as you would at other studios...and it's additional to the membership fee. Absolutely love this gym! The gym itself is very clean, there is always staff on hand to help you with anything. It's not overly crowded. If you need a PT Brandon is great! I also had Marina as a Pilates instructor and she is nothing short of amazing. I keep my 1 year old in the day care here. I'm a SAHM so it's the only break I get and I am so happy to have Zoe and the amazing staff there to make me feel comfortable leaving my little one there. My son actually screams of excitement when he sees Zoe and that makes me so happy!! I'm so happy to have signed up here and I recommend it to everyone else too. read more

For what they charge, this place is a rip-off. Half of the time it's so packed you can't use a machine and the other half the time it's a kids club around the actual workout area. It's filled with folks who would be a better fit at a $10 a month gym with a high probability of knife fights in the parking lot. The facilities are dated and you're better off renting a storage facility and populating it with machines you bought yourself than dealing with posturing rich teenagers who think they're tough and from the streets. The staff have always been great, however, so I can't take that away from them. read more

Toxic masculinity abounds. No one follows simple rules, as they bring giant bags into the workout areas, save machines, don't wipe their machines down, move weights and don't put them back.... Front desk crew and staff are mostly nice, but the members are some of the most selfish, entitled, rude, "main characters,' ever. read more

How are you surviving COVID-19? My saving grace came from wine tastings at French Cellar by Partage and many amazing instructors from Life Time Athletic in Summerlin. It's hard to find the motivation to move sometimes, but the variety of group fitness classes at Lifetime encourage me to keep moving and to stay healthy. I enjoy most of the group fitness classes, especially when they are led by Ashley B and Alfredo B. Their classes are well planned with sequencing and minimal time being wasted ...and they always inspire you to do your best. You can sign up a week ahead through their app, and it's always recommended since the space is limited due to social distancing. Life Time is one of the cleanest, therefore, safest places to workout especially during the pandemic. They check your temperature upon your check-in, follow all the mandatory guideline, and on top of that, their staff is cleaning every inch of the stairs and equipment after each usage. If you are considering getting a membership to Lifetime in Las Vegas; read this review. It's growing exceedingly painful to stomach paying nearly $2,500 a year for this gym. From the blatant mismanagement to a staff that clearly takes no pride in their work, Lifetime is barely worth the drive at this point. Before I continue; understand that I have apt experience at both the Green Valley and Summerlin locations; and will be leaving this review across all of their directory platforms. I frequently come later at night and the vibe is clear for anyone coming after 8PM; unwelcome and rushed. Lifetime used to be 24 hours until the pandemic; but despite restrictions lifting statewide - they never returned to a 24 hour operation which is almost mind-boggling given the town we live in and the price we pay for the gym. The staff always announces the gyms closure 5-10 minutes ahead of time (for example, if it's 11:40PM they say the gym is closing in 15 minutes). The lifeguard staff are almost adversarial towards patrons - often closing the pool areas before the posted times, turning off the outside jacuzzi heat and jets an hour before they're supposed to be off, turning the steam room off before closing, and forcing patrons to rush through those amenities because of what I'm assuming is a desire to leave work as early as possible. The gym is frequently a mess at both locations. There are piles of un-racked weights, dumbbells misplaced, and out of place gym equipment scattered across the gym floor. There is debris all of the floor, the sanitizer stations are constantly empty which is pretty gross, and the sweat towels are constantly empty. It's clear no one takes pride here - how could you run a "premium" gym and leave it in such disarray? Not to mention the locker rooms are often filthy, disgusting showers with hair clogging drains, used razors everywhere, and filth everywhere it can latch onto. On top of all of this, the staff needs to be trained in customer service. With the price we pay - I shouldn't be the one engaging with the staff as I walk in. When I pay top dollar for any experience - I expect the service to be impeccable. At the Summerlin location specifically there is a tall staff member at night who I ALWAYS say hello to and he just stares at me. And at the Green Valley location the front desk girls are often too preoccupied with what I'm assuming is their boyfriends to properly greet guests as they come and go. The cost we pay should demand higher service, they need to step it up substantially. Then there's the patrons... you'd expect that with this kind of membership, it would keep the undesirable guests out. But there are young ego-lifting kids who throw there lightweight dumbbells on the ground because they can't control the weight, old men who use pedieggs in the steam room, and a plethora of rich dudes with ILS walking with their nose in the air. As someone who takes bodybuilding seriously, the peers around me are embarrassing and don't seem to face any recourse for poor gym etiquette. We live in a 24 hour town - closing the gym at midnight is a joke. If you finish work at 8, you have to rush through your workout and don't have time to shower. And I'm not the only one who feels this way; I talk to members constantly with the same grievances. Lifetime members - we need to demand better. Let management know how poor of a job they're doing. And if our feedback goes unheeded - let's move up the ladder to corporate. I hope this review gets across the right desk and some positive changes can be elicited as a result. I don't know how much longer I'm willing to pay a premium for a subpar experience with a messy environment, no love for the late night gym goers, and poor customer service. Somewhat different experience than some of the reviews here. Do I think Life Time is worth $259 a month? Not really. But I also don't use most of what's available (I only want an elliptical) and Life Time is a bit light on what I'd really like (spa-level amenities). I usually work out in the mid-late morning when I've never had any trouble finding a parking spot in the garage. I can choose from a couple dozen available ellipticals. It's a pretty upscale crowd and I haven't encountered any kids but I'm also using it during school hours. Very attentive staff. The locker room is large and nice-looking, and has been well-maintained when I've been there. Plenty of towels, soap/shampoo/conditioner in the showers, and there are toiletries. What I wish it had at this price point is more of a spa-type setup. I appreciate that there's a steam room in the single-sex area so you don't have to add the hassle of changing into trunks between workout and shower to use it. But the sauna is out by the pool and coed. I'm also really missing some sort of post-steam/sauna cold plunge. On balance, I've thought it's a perfectly nice gym. It's not being bothered about the cost as much as wondering about the value. And I'm not sure what I like about it is worth *8 times* what 24 Hour Fitness costs. But I can see everyone answering that question differently based on what they want and get from Life Time. read more

Extremely overrated and hyped up fitness club. My family and I were members for just under a year and ultimately found so little value for what we were paying. The only positive is that it is a 2 minute drive from my house. The facilities - namely the locker rooms and showers are filthy and in need of repair. Most lockers don't lock or will lock you out; not to mention a heavy trend of break-ins of lockers and cars in the garage. The equipment is average, slightly aged, and a lot of equipment is under what seems to be permanent 'out of service for repair.' As of last summer your $350 membership won't even include pool access - that's another $100 charge as well as many classes are becoming paid classes, too. Lastly, the gym is extremely crowded at all times of the day with an extremely entitled demographic. from high schoolers to middle aged - equipment hogging, selfies in mirrors, and rude interactions are common. I now pay $10 a month and get a newer, cleaner, 24/7 and low traffic gym that is only 1.5 miles further down the street. read more

For the price of this gym it should be clean. The workout floor is gross, someone spilled something sticky at least a week or more ago and it's still there. There is debris under the machines that could be easily swept, but it has been here for over a month. I know this is a family gym, but the kids in the locker room is ridiculous. They throw their stuff all over, leaving no room for anyone else.. where are their parents? Be careful in the locker rooms, because I have watched girls taking pics of themselves in there, I reported it to management and it's still happening. If you love sitting in a jacuzzi with a bunch of little girls swimming around you, this is the place for you. One lady the other night had her maybe 8 year old in the jacuzzi with goggles and flippers. That was fun.... Save your money, this gym isn't worth it. read more

It's been 3 months and I love this place even more. People don't understand there is so much to do here. Some days I play racquetball for 30 minutes and then go swim laps in the 88° indoor pool. Other days I'll walk on the treadmill the use the rowing machines and rope pull machine. And finish up with 10 minutes in the whirlpool, cold shower,10 minutes in the steam room that has ucleliptus in the steam which is amazing for my allergies. A huge outdoor pool with two waterslides for the kids. A sun deck bigger than Red Rock casino's pool . And outdoor Cafe with beer and wine way better the day club on the strip. But today I was really impressed with a trainer , Brenna Barrios. I had pinched a nerve in my back and she showed me some exercises to help it. She explained exactly what each exercise was a how to do them. Her knowledge of the body as a trainer blew my mind. She also teaches classes there so I'm going to definitely look into to that. It really doesn't feel like a chore to go to the gym 4 or 5 days when you switch up your workouts. So I never get board and I'm meeting some amazing people and networking, all while getting in shape. You might think the monthly fee seems high , but the clientele of members is top notch and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The occupant capacity is limited to a certain number of membships per club because they don't want you to feel crowded like LVAC and planet fitness. At $6 dollars a day it's a steal. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! I've been a member for about 3 and a half years now and Lifetime Summerlin is hands down the best gym in town! It's even better than the Henderson location or the 3-4 other locations I've been to around the country; mainly due to the set-up and cleanliness of this location! I love that they have a parking garage and a 3-floor building set-up which really spreads everything out. I get asked all the time, and yes Lifetime is pricey (around $150/month for an individual or $234/month for a couple) but it's totally worth it! Believe me, I was unsure back in 2015 when we were considering joining. First off, this location is diamond level which is the highest of all their gyms, which means you can basically go to any location for free! Members of gold or onyx locations that visit a diamond location have to pay a per visit upcharge fee! Also would you rather pay a little each month for a gym you rarely go to? Or a bit more for one you'll actually enjoy coming to all the time? I've been a member of several gyms in Vegas, and I recall my visits to some of them were sporadic throughout the month/year. Once I switched over to Lifetime, I started going all the time. Why? It's less crowded, the machines/equipment are well maintained and always work, the people aren't rude and the place doesn't smell like a public restroom. This location also features a rock climbing wall, a full service spa and café, outdoor and indoor pools and hot tubs, steam room, sauna. Need to change or shower at the gym? All towels are included, as are basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors, lotion, cotton swabs, etc) in the locker room. Just simply bring a change of clothes! Group exercise classes are included in your membership and the instructors are wonderful! If you need slightly more help/guidance they also have personal training as well as TEAM training (which is basically like small group personal training) for an additional fee. All in all, I love this gym! If your fitness hours are flexible, I'd recommend coming outside of their peak hours which seem to be 6 AM to 9 AM and 4 PM to 7 PM on weekdays, and before noon on weekends. It does get busy during these hours, however, compared to some of the other big gyms in town its not bad at all. Aside from the parking garage being packed, it never seems crowded once I get inside the building...probably because everyone is spread out amongst all the classes, pools and equipment/floors read more

This gym has got to be the worst facility I've ever worked out at. If you're looking to work out with teenagers (with terrible back acne, look up what I mean) working out shirtless, wearing shades and generally turning the place into a Jersey Shore, then this is the gym for you. Oh, and you'll be recorded while doing so. Now, if I was working out at 24 Hour Fitness, fine. Planet Fitness, I get it. Take your shirt off, go crazy. But paying $300 a month for a membership is meant to offer a different environment. There's zero wiping down of equipment after their sweaty torso has been dripping over everything. Quick overview of the machines, terrible. Broken and ripped pads, the treadmills hardly work and just TRY working out on the Alpha room without someone raising the music to 100 decibels all while hearing children scream from the basketball court adjacent. Be prepared for guys cruising you in the locker room and steam room, that's if you can stand the smell long enough. Then walk back out to the locker room to potentially be photographed by more teenagers. If your locker works, you're having a good day. That's if it hasn't been broken into already. After two official complaints about 18 yr old somethings working out with their shirts off, I had the pleasure of speaking with "Buck". Who informed me that the "Summer is nearly over so the teenagers won't be a problem anymore." Last week, for a third time, I was working out next to a group of Jersey boys, shirtless and video taping. I'm not talking about a simple iPhone, these guys had full on camera equipment. After asking them to stop recording me in the background, I was faced with threats and violence. I logged a complaint with operations. The incident report went nowhere. The lady I spoke to advised this group was a "problem group" and they've known about them for a while. The whole incident was caught on their security camera, you can see the guys circling and threatening, and this facility rewards that behavior by keeping their memberships in tact. I followed up with an email two days later. Stephen Datte responded. Life Time - Gyms Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

We all know Life Time is expensive. And previously, you got good value for the money. You would think that having towels for members to use wouldn't be difficult, but now, at least 2-3 times per week, there are no towels available to use while working out on both the second or third floors. When you ask about it, you're told, "oh, we're short-staffed." When you point out that having towels available has never been an issue in the past, that they raised dues this year by $20/month, and that there are thousands of members, they say, "sorry, I don't know what to tell you." Machines are constantly out of order and not fixed, nor have they been updated in years. I pointed out misspelled signs years ago, and they're still not fixed. Management and staff clearly don't care about providing good service. read more

I do not understand why people want to pay three to $400 a month to use the gym. It just makes no sense to me. You could do the same thing at LVC or EOS for $15 a month sure money may not be an issue for you But still is the principle of it I mean the thing you get out of this gym it's about the same as you going to LV or EOS I used to admire the fact it has indoor swimming pool where the waterslide is but the operation hour is not 24 is not even 12 hours Close around 5 PM so I could've just go to a public pool with waterslides that also close around 5 PM. There's no perks in this gym if the waterslide opens 24 hour or close at midnight I might consider joining. The cost for a regular member is around $300 - a lot to pay to watch people send text messages from an exercise machine. 3) The club is all about selling....The Glengarry Glen Ross of health clubs. 4) Club management is constantly monitoring activities such as the pickleball courts in order extract more fees from members for usage. This place went downhill from 5 years and it has been way overpriced. You always have to park in the garage. The machines and equipment are nothing special. The restrooms and locker rooms are so messy. The gym is way over the capacity limit. If you are paying over $190 a month for a gym, you should not have to wait for machines all the time. UPDATE: guess what???? Just got an email from Lifetime stating they are raising our rates AGAIN!!!! By another $30 a month. And with less than a months notice!! Oh same reason as several times before- "...we are renovating etc etc....". Yes, we all like a beautiful and updated facility but this reason only holds up so many times. And we have to give them 30 days notice if we want to put our account on hold for example. I have lost track of how many times they have raised our rates. Loyal members for ten years. We are about done. Going to find another place to workout. As you can tell I am quite upset about this, how we are treated by this corporation- because that is what this is ultimately- how can they make the most money. And they think they can justify this by stating "you are still paying less than other members...". Ridiculous. And they inform you with what reads as a corporate script, same wording every time they raise the rates. No personal attention or reaching out to their members. Because they just don't care. We don't feel valued by this company any more. It was just so fantastic for first few years we joined. You're a GYM, we use one floor and nothing else and not even the locker rooms. Listen to the chatter on the floor. I don't know a single member that's "happy". You rip up the second floor and create this area for classes that play music so loud that the very instructor has to YELL. It is beyond ignorant. Do you have your television on in your home so LOUD you have to yell across the dinner table? Doubt it. It's a GYM, you should be able to make a phone call. Not to mention the space you lost for equipment. At some point, when's enough enough? It's a gym nothing else and especially for those that use only the second floor. Matter of fact, when we first signed up, that sales lady flat out LIED to us. One, said when we go on vacation you can call and we won't charge for that week. LITERALLY said that. So guess what I did? Went on vacation and called and pretty much was laughed at. She also said the salon prices were going to be so inexpensive. Yeah, ok!  Again, it's a gym. I can literally drive 5 mins (if that) down the road and spend TEN BUCKS (plus tax) a month to use the same treadmill. So A HUNDRED AND TWENT BUCKS OR FOUR THOUSAND. Absolutely wonderful!! I understand that a celebrity (N. Cage) also lives nearby and frequents here, so if it's good enough for this person, it's good enough for me. Seriously, though, this place has it all! Massive, mega huge facility with pools the size you'd find at a snazzy hotel on the Strip. The Henderson location is even larger with indoor tennis courts. In fact, its just like a nice real spa with a large hair salon, cafe and all! Plus, the steam room is always at a perfect temperature and the sauna gives you a view of the large indoor pools. Really can't give enough kiddos to the Lifetime Athletic locations in LV! There's one in Folsom, but that's much smaller than the ones in LV. Also, these clearly dwarf ANYPLACE you'd find in San Francisco, where you'd pay more than $50.00 a month MORE for about 20% of what you get here. Talk about value! In San Francisco, the restroom stalls are so small that I feel like I need to enter sideways! Here, I feel like every single stall could almost be labeled as handicapped accessible. True dat! Best time to go is in the middle of the day to avoid the post-school/work rush. However, this place is open 24 hours! You can lounge by the pool at all hours, which is an added plus during the warm summer evenings. What's not to enjoy here?!?! read more

Has gotten so overcrowded it isn't worth it. For $260 a month you shouldn't have to spend 15 minutes looking for a parking spot and then wait around for every machine. People constantly form a line to drop off kids, blocking the parking lot- and then the kids are everywhere. Go to LVAC or Kilo Club until people start dropping memberships and the crowds thin out. read more

Overall, 5 solid stars for this facility. Life time offers a spectacular gym with the best amenities across the valley. You really get what you pay for here... Facility is always clean and well kept. I have memberships in other gyms and they're nowhere near as maintained as life time. Every equipment is top of the line from their stair master to rowing machine and even their weighted machines. They offer a clean sauna and steam room which is a nice amenity. Life time also offers complimentary deodorant, hair spray and feminine products as part of your membership. I don't take the classes as i do more solo workouts but I've heard good reviews about the classes they offer. Life time offers a wide range from yoga to HIIT classes as part of your membership as well. They also have an awesome cafe for your after workout meals which is super convenient. Way expensive gym and you are not allowed even to use the equipments.. the building is old and they don't have enough classrooms, so They use the equipments that are for the members to have those classes. If tou need to use it.. forget about, because the coaches there are rude and they work only for the interests if their private clients. Be better LifeTime. Henderson one is better. read more

I love this gym! I will admit, it was not my favorite at first, but that is only because I am the type of person who likes to work out when there are barely any people at the gym. I come from David Barton where the MAX of people at the gym are only about 6-10 people. After realizing that although LifeTime is huge, it never is as busy as some other gyms like LVAC, so for that I am happy. The classes they offer are so much fun and definitely give you a GREAT workout. Some of my favorites are Life Barre, Surrender Yoga, Pilates (paid separately from membership), and their new class Ringside! I also really enjoy the rock climbing wall! The employees here are also very kind which is a plus. Quick shout out to Ryan, Rimma, Briela from rock climbing and Natalie from pilates for making my gym experience nothing but great. Equipment is always clean too as well as the locker rooms. Showers are so nice I rather shower at the gym than my own home. They also have a very nice pool outside with two waterslides that you definitely have to check out during the warmer days of the year. Overall, this place is awesome and the only thing I wish would be different is their pricing. read more
