I have been going to this gym for approx 10 years, in the last 2 years the gym has become excessively overcrowded, when mgmt is asked about member capacity they indicate they are not even close. Yet it takes 10-20 min to find a parking space bc the lots are maxed out. Then there is a wait for every piece of lifting equipment wo fail, good luck getting dumbbells as ppl have taken to hoarding them bc the availability issue, they have destroyed the basketball aspect of the club, and they want to raise rates but not enough to reduce membership, I'm switching to 24 hr this is no longer worth my families time and money. read more

Downgrading this place to one star because of their dishonest business practices. Lifetime has in writing a policy that states if you cancel within 7 days there is no charge. Well... I cancelled in 4 days and two days after I cancelled, I was charged the monthly due of $240. I tried calling and the receptionist gave me the run-around. I left 3 messages to have the member services guy I signed up with to call me back and he never did. On the fourth call, he was actually available to take my call and told me he cannot reverse the charge without having his manager verify that I cancelled within the window... And this is the guy that processed me when I joined, and I went to him to cancel as well. So here I am a week after cancelling, out 240 bucks, I've left so many messages for a manager to call me back and they never have. It seems this place only care about getting you to sign up, because they will call you more than telemarketers, I was called on average twice a day. But now that I have a problem, I can't reach anyone who can help me. My recommendation is to stay far away from this place. They are dishonest, and only care about their profits at your expense. I will be telling everyone within earshot how they do business. Gyms are important to me because I am a firefighter/medic as well as a Navy reservist. I spend part of the year volunteering for disaster relief, so staying in shape makes me the most effective at what I do. The owners of this gym got too greedy and ruined what was once a decent gym. It was always one of the lower-end Lifetime locations I've been to, but now it's just awful. Parking is a nightmare, gym is always too crowded, yet they keep increasing fees. At one point there was a membership cap, but they've clearly eliminated that. The equipment is outdated. The luxury of gyms. The Bellagio of the gyms. Super clean and lots of machines for everyone to use so you don't have to wait. Top of the line equipment as well. Love how the people here know gym etiquette. The locker rooms are a mini spa with all the necessities you need. (Razors, mouth wash, blow dryer, tampons etc.) So if you are looking for more than a basic gym and what the good life with it this is it for you. Absolutely love Life Time. My husband and I started a few weeks ago and the trainers are amazing. The facility is clean and very welcoming. I take the small group classes and my husband has a personal trainer and we both are in love with this location. NO SHOES IN THE SAUNA. Can you please put up a sign? As a member I shouldn't have to be the one telling other members not to. I understand it is more cost effective to hire teenagers, but maybe have one adult available to enforce your rules. It is unsanitary and a large part of why I come here is the sauna. Been a Green Valley member since it opened. Love it....even though its gone downhill. Summerlin? Weird vibe at this club. Its clean, but it's weird from the parking, to the multilevel structure. The womens lockerroom is a mile from the desk. Is it perfectly nice? Yes, nicer than an LVAC. Are we super spoiled in GV? YES! Low scores for odd layout, so/so yoga studio, and snotty kids who facetime from the lockerroom and the attendants who should enforce the rules, but won't, even when asked. read more

For the price increase the quality has dropped. The kids center hours are reduced, the hours horrible. I really only have 3 days to workout and bring them. The locker room is dirtier than it used to be in the past. Showers are always filthy and are never attended to. The gym floor has some new equipment but a lot are beginning to show signs of lack of maintenance and I'm constantly finding loose bolts or unusual noises. I am a member of this gym and cannot believe the price increase. As a decorated pro native MMA fighter, I come to this gym to maintain. Been a loyal member for many years. I am saddened that loyalty is not respected. The management charges more and offers me what I am not interested in. This they say will allow them to charge us more. I also use the steam room a lot. I have been a member for 2years and noticed too many kids by themselves around weights, machines and pool/spa areas. Where are their parents. No offense but I did not join to have kids running around the gym like its a playground at a $180.00 per month too much for that! So far so good. I signed my whole family up. I love the kids activities and parents night out weekends. I think if you sign up for 1 person, you'd feel that it's expensive. But if you add more ppl, the cost is less. And kids price is def worth it. I've discontinued most of my kids other extra curricular activities and send him to lifetime gym instead. I love the heated indoor pool and the spa, the women's shower room equipped with all the basic things needed. And the most important aspect is the cleanliness. I hate gym that looks sweaty, dirty, and messy. Lifetime, so far, has been clean and organized. Please continue to staff cleaning service sufficiently as it is a dealbreaker for me. Fantastic gym, sometimes the customer service isn't that great. Throws me off only because we all pay so much to come here. The classes they have for kids are awesome. We homeschool and wish they accommodated homeschool kids during the day. The play area isn't that great for the kids and during the day the back area is hardly ever opened. The pool area is nice and they have food service to your chairs. I swear the slides are hardly opened. They have many classes available for adults And I love the steam room! I was debating becoming a member here but decided against it due to the following: -kids everywhere. Nothing against kids but this is more of a place for families. Also I heard you can take your 13 yo on the weight room floor? Wtf -lack of evening classes. No Alpha classes past 6pm. Dealbreaker. Many people work til 6pm and want more late night classes. -Generic, corporatey feel. Place feels so dated and has zero style. It felt cookie cutter and I've been to a few Lifetimes across the country and they all feel exactly the same. -Business practices. The sales staff will hound you with endless emails and calls. Very annoying -Parking. Why have a huge parking lot in the back and not have a back door? You have to walk all the way around to the front. Inefficient and a waste of time. read more

This place is a joke to me... Former members and i honestly hated it for a variety of reasons. Outdoor Pool area was nice but about once every hour.. EVERYONE would have to evacuate the pool for about 15 minutes for some sort of stupid safety check. Literally every single hour.... It's not that big of a pool... somehow every other pool on earth manages to keep people safe without making an annoying hassle. Nobody wants to get into a cool pool... get out and stand around for 15 minutes... and get back in over and over. It ruins the experience as far as i'm concerned. And now i see each member has to pay a separate fee of $100 to access the pool for 2022. Maybe this was their April Fools joke that they forgot to remove? Enrolled kids in swim lessons in the indoor pool. For a place that is so concerned with safety at the outside pool with mostly adults.... They didn't seem to mind that their staff would regularly take their eyes off the kids (who are just learning to swim) so they can flirt with eachother while they are supposed to be doing their job. Not to mention that classes were a mess b/c instructors were always changing and switching or occasionally the class was cancelled altogether without notice b/c they were short staffed. As for the classes... especially the kids club classes.... Pretty much always full and would often make us physically go to the gym to sign up for space in the class. So drive there sometimes to find out the class is full already. It was an annoying process. In summary... most everything is managed poorly. It is a nice facility... nice equipment.... but as usual... people can ruin a good thing. Staff just wants to make "sales" and not super helpful. We reached out recently to see if maybe they have improved and asked if they had any sort of trial period or day pass so we can check it out.... No free trial whatsoever... $50 to use the gym for a day. So about twice the cost of a full month membership at a very very nice random gym... will get you 1 day here. I have to imagine they don't want to see what a mess this place is until after you pay your fees and join... I don't quite know who they think they are.... But the prices are outrageous given the service and management of the facilities. No thanks read more

I called to get basic information from the "manager" who claims he knows everything about their Senior fitness program- I requested which Medicare Advantage Insurance Companies they contract with? He told me 5 fitness groups phone numbers I could possibly call to find out this information- so I am supposed to call 5 other phone numbers to find out which plans YOUR gym accepts??? No thanks! After reading all these negative reviews I can assure you we will NOT be attempting to use your Gym after all! Life Time Athletic is seriously one of the most beautiful and high tech gyms I've ever gone to. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place. I'm not sure how long this gym has been here but it looks spanking new everytime you walk in. On the first floor there's a cafe on the right side and if you follow along the right side there's a Spa/Salon. The locker rooms are stocked with everything you need from razer blades, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, you name it. You don't even have to bring your own lock as they have a lock and key system installed in the lockers. They have an impressive rock climbing center that's viewable from the outside. There's an indoor and an outdoor pool, squash rooms, pilates, and courts. There's definitely a variety of things for everyone. For myself I normally try to get some cardio in so I went ahead to a stairmaster and these machines were high tech. They have bluetooh connectivity, facebook, youtube, just to name a few features. The membership fees are on the higher-end but with everything that you get with it, it's definitely worth it. There's even a covered parking structure. This is great for the summer! Worst experience ever. my sister invited me to go with her to the lifetime gym. Because I don't have a membership she invited me as a guest. We all went to the pool area and since we jumped in the pool, we were harassed by staff, I felt very uncomfortable to swim. I been watched by lifeguards every second because I was a guest and look very suspicious to them. They were constantly saying we were doing teaching lessons because my swimming looked professional. Since the mandate has be lifted, All Las Vegas Gym Facilities are back to being Open 24 hours. But yet one of the most expensive gyms is closed from 12-4am. I have been a member on and off for 4 years. When I started my membership again this month I was told about the price increase, but was never told about the gym not being available 24hours. Las Vegas is a 24 hour city a lot of us work overnight and swing shifts. I don't understand how the gym is open less but your paying more. Your saving money with less hour of operation, but yet charging your customer more. Tonight they turned off the steam room at 11:45pm and once I got out and took a shower the staff member in the man's locker room turned the lights off. Didn't seem polite or safe for him to do. Unfortunately, they have accepted so many member that the machine you desire is almost never available. There are wait times often. The parking is incredibly tight and always full, so plan another fifteen minutes just to head to the top level of the parking garage and then take the trek to the gym. Not bad if you want to make a jog out of it, but if you have a tight schedule there is no such thing as a quick workout here. The Goods 1. Mixed feelings, I do love the large in and outdoor pools! When it is empty it is great, but when it is crazy full of people (typically Mondays to Thursday mainly around 3-8 pm) peak hours it is almost unbearable. 2. I love it when I have the whole pool to myself which I have had a couple times, I guess I am a "lone" shark Service 1. Front desk has improved some since joining, I still haven't come to terms with the monthly price , it is the fancy gym in the Vegas area and there are only two. 2. I haven't taken advantage of the classes or personal training. I mainly go and do my work out and head home since I usually go after I finish work. Ambiance 1. I was once a member of Equinox which is not available in Nevada. Cali is where I'd go for equinox and I loved loved the ambiance there. This is a bit more traditional in decor ! More wood and traditional look vs the ultra modern sort of uppity look of Equinox (which of course is just my style) MoJo 1. Id say it is the pool that keeps me here even tho I rarely use it. I tried to use my friends guest pass which other staff at the gym said was ok and he told spoke down to me like I didn't understand English and made me leave crying. I toured the facilities and it is beautiful but to pay $179 a month I would expect better treatment. Honest review... lifetime athletic is a cut above the rest. And it should be for the price... yes it is expensive but if you go regularly and use the amenities it is well worth it. The club is always clean, staff treats you nicely and the culture is dope. I am a fan of the alpha room, the cardio machines and the sauna. Also the kids areas and the indoor pool are nice to have available. My daughter has been in swim lessons for 5 weeks and she loves going. Any time I have had an issue management has gone above and beyond to make it right. Unfortunately due to price increases I am switching gyms but I plan to come back when the time is right! I'll just say no gym is perfect but lifetime is pretty damn close... keep up the good work!!! read more

This is the King of the gym's! It's enormous and they have almost everything you are looking for in a gym. It's a massive floor plan. First of all, it's very clean! There's always attendants in the locker rooms and very organized although they don't provide Khiels, the product they provide is decent enough. It's a 3 floor facility with basketball court, racquetball court, football court, studios for classes, cycling room, kids party room, kids playroom which is huge, Pilates room, free weights area, all cardio machines, boxing area, yoga room, spa, salon, cafe, steam room, sauna and they even have at the very least 40 Woodway treadmill. For a runner like me how can I complain! I love that machine. The pools are indoor and outdoor and kids pool area. They have a wide variety of classes and the instructors are amazing. They have plenty of trainers but you don't even need to hire a private trainer unless you want to. For me, I think it's a waste of money unless you will join the challenges like 60 day challenge or so. I attended an aqua class once. I was bored, I can do my own laps for a real workout than the aqua class. But I understand that some people can not do their own workout without instructor. The classes they offer alone are excellent and it begins as early as 5:30am and some are quite strenuous. The Edge Cycle is just like SoulCycle. You can even do your own mini triathlon in the gym. They also have outdoor biking class which I would like to try one of these days. The menu selection in lifecafe are healthy and delicious although I heard some complaints that prices in the cafe is high, it's quite true for vegas price. I don't feel claustrophobic inside the gym. It's bright and comfortable. The price is worth it and it's pretty reasonable for a gym like that. I don't think it's expensive at all. Lastly, the towels are quite rough. read more

I wish I could give a higher rating...but after 2.5 years at Lifetime...we're just disappointed. The fees went up...but the quality has gone down. Locker room products have changed. Not anywhere near as nice of quality as the Watkins they had prior to. The group fitness classes are always low on weights...the steam room is often under repair and out of service. The highlight of the gym are their Warrior sculpt, barre and Yoga classes offered. Ali is by far my favourite aspect of my membership...but it's not enough to make us stick around longterm. read more

Wow what an unpleasant welcome to Vegas I just experienced at Lifetime athletic. I just moved from California 3/1 (yesterday)and had emailed this gym in regards to a membership. I was emailed to come in. The sales guy Brandon who came out was the rudest sales person I've ever dealt with. He would not let me see the gym without a Local ID which die to covid appointments are backed up three months and was not going to let me try the facility. Very upset from terrible customer service I received today. My fiancé whom I live with has been a member for months and I have used one of his guest passes there to check it out. Amazing facilities and have thought about joining, but had been very loyal to another gym in the community for a past three years. I finally decided to pull the trigger and join lifetime. I called about the costs of the add-on and was provided great feedback over the phone. At no point in time during my phone call did the lifetime representative explain to me that I would need to show documentation to obtain the membership. That night, I canceled my existing gym membership after 3 dedicated years there and even convinced my girlfriends from the gym to join lifetime with me. Today on my lunch break I went to sign-up only to be told that I needed to show a marriage certificate, lease agreement, or driver's license with matching addresses to my fiancé. A bill or other documentation was unacceptable. We don't have a marriage certificate yet as we are only engaged, I have a landlord who resides out of the country with a lease that expires in a month so it is pointless to add my fiancé to the lease, and because we are changing addresses in december, I do not want to deal with changing my address with the DMV now only to have to change it again in a month and a half. To top it off, the lifetime rep "helping" us out today was extremely rude (I really want to emphasize how unreasonably rude he was being- I have never experienced anything like this before). In the beginning of this club opening, it was spectacular. No issues, best amenities & fantastic customer service and management. If there were any problems or complaints, they were handled swiftly and effectively. Then Kevin Siegel (district manager) & Chris Mitchell (club manager) arrived. Everything changed. The clubs cleanliness went to a level of health hazard with feces squirted along the walls and blood on the floor of the female restrooms, broken machines with sharp edges that cut fingers, dust so thick that it caused asthmatic episodes in myself whose asthma is well controlled for decades now. Yes that's bad but this is worse. I'm a younger fairly attractive woman who receives compliments or stares from men, I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with is the blatant sexual harassment and aggressive behavior that occurs from other Lifetime members since this management has taken over. In this era of 'me too' I am not demure and silent, I stand up for myself. I will not allow anyone to say disgusting remarks in a place where I'm supposed to feel safe. I was told directly by Kevin NOT to stand up for myself and that he was notating my account as being just as much to blame for being the receiver of non sexual or sexual harassment. He said if there was another harassment issue, I was to contact management immediately and that they'd handle it. Multiple issues have arisen since then, I have filed several written complaints. NOTHING is done. The manager Chris Mitchell is unwilling to confront male members and has allowed this latest person to stay in the gym, walking around attempting to intimidate women. Kevin has also not followed up or handled this so I spoke to corporate regarding this matter. After they told me that Kevin was the only one to handle this matter, I let them know that I had no faith in either Kevin or Chris as it's been over a month since my initial written complaint was filed. Corporate also did nothing. They called and spoke to Kevin who incredulously made up a story that members came to he & Chris claiming I had a petition against Lifetime that I was going around with. He knew that was a violation of the contract I signed with LT, and that it'd be the easiest way to get me out of their hair. This libelous claim was fabricated to take attention off of management not doing their jobs and securing a safe environment for females to work out in. There are no video nor real evidence that would substantiate the claim I was getting a petition together-it did not happen. During all other mishandled situations, Kevin has shown to be incredibly sexist, chauvinistic and abrasive. He also quoted something completely unrelated from my social media. Unbeknownst to me, he was following me online and gunning to get me out of the club to avoid any further complaints of embarrassment of the complaints not being dealt with. There is not an employee there aside from those two who've had anything but pleasant things to say about me and nothing but terrible things to say about both of them. The turn over rate is so high due to mismanagement that there's no longer anyone from the original club. Everyone I speak with who works there is looking for a healthier working environment elsewhere. No one likes Kevin or Chris. They are afraid to lose their jobs so don't speak up & then quietly leave one by one. Lifetime is only concerned with their bottom line. Which as a business owner, I understand but putting that above customer service is detrimental in the long run. If you're a woman or have a female you know working out there, just know that it's an unsafe & hazardous environment. Bottom line, avoid LIFETIME Athletic and Kevin Siegel. read more

I detailed the shoddy state of the facility in my previous review, and finally could not stand working out there any longer. I went in to the club to cancel my membership long before the month I had already paid for (can't do it online or anything, natch!), and Life Time is now attempting to bill me for *another* month. A gym membership is not like renting an apartment -- there is no need to give a month's notice so they have time to somehow fill the slot that I am vacating. This is an absolutely ridiculous concept, and is nothing short of a fraudulent attempt to pocket additional revenue. This nonsense is absolutely astounding. I cannot believe that customers have allowed a company this large to get away with this, and I suspect that many people would think twice about joining if they knew this was the policy. Great spacious gym with lots of classes all day. I came here every day for a week while I was in town. The classes are an hour long with constant intensity which was much better than the Equinox classes I usually take. Kettle Bell and Warrior Sculpt were my favorite, PIT was difficult, Pilates Fitness was easy, Strike was good. I loved the row areas, lots of machines with ample space in between. read more
