This location is really great for those who are into racquet sports. There's plenty of indoor tennis and pickleball courts and reservations are easy. During peak hours it can get pretty hectic. While I'm not a Life Time member, I've been to a handful of Life Time locations and I'm always impressed with the facilities, equipment, sport courts, classes, and cafe. I have yet to visit a spa, but that is on my list for the future! This Peachtree Corners location is no exception. My son and I traveled to ATL for the PPA pickleball championships this past weekend and we pretty much spent every waking hour at this facility from Thursday when we arrived until late Sunday night when the tournament was over. We spent the majority of our time either playing pickleball or watching pickleball (both on the indoor and outdoor courts due to some rain), but the facility did a great job (along with the PPA) in navigating the large crowds and keeping the tournament going. We enjoyed some food from the cafe, the locker rooms, and of course the courts and the rest of the grounds as well. We were lucky to be traveling with a friend who purchased VIP Parking, so that was a nice touch... and medaling in some of our events helped make the experience even more fun too! Shoutout to Suzanne on the Life Time pickleball staff! If I lived in the area, I would definitely be spending time here more often - likely taking advantage of open play... The facility is amazing. Not only do they have all kinds of equipment, free weights, treadmills, stair masters and so much more. They also have classes, pools, saunas, and steam rooms. The locker rooms are very clean and there are lockers to keep your things. They provide towels (and soap and shampoo) so you can take a shower following your workout. read more

Lifetime Peachtree Corners is the cornerstone of mismanagement... total cluster with no concept of customer service. It is unbelievable that such a great facility cannot find professional management to drive membership, have organized events and cater to their members. They block off the largest parking lot every time they have a dumb pickleball or tennis tournament and force all PAYING MEMBERS into the smallest lot with not enough spaces. It's already a premium gym and they're trying to sell parking passes for these events. Terrible management and treatment of members. read more

I recently moved here from Minnesota where we had a bunch of Lifetime tennis clubs. This club was not built to be anything but a tennis and swim club and it is beautiful. It could be outstanding if they would put in some sort of restaurant like they have at a couple of clubs in Minnesota and expanded the other offerings to make it more of a well rounded club than a tennis club. Conversely they can give up being a club and concentrate on tennis. That being said I am giving it 4 stars because of the tennis. It is beautiful and has excellent instruction for tennis players. It is the only true indoor facility in the area and, if you want to play tennis without the hassle of joining a country club this is the place. I had been hitting with the pro (Chris) at least weekly for 6 months. Sometimes we would not start on time because of him which i overlooked. I then noticed Chris would only go over after giving a lesson with one particular member. After at least 5 times of not starting on time i finally said something in a very respectful way. I was literally cursed out by the other member....who is in obvious need of anger management. When i suggested i step back from hitting with Chris he said "i understand." The general manager opted to not get involved despite the tennis manager being out of the country. I finally heard back almost 2 weeks after the incident. The whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth....being cursed at by a disturbed member and feeling unvalued by Chris and management. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Pretty upset with the customer service from the front desk. If you forget something in the locker room just consider it gone for good. TWICE now I have called within 15 minutes of leaving asking for someone to go collect my forgotten items. Both times I was told "we will check with operations and if they find it we will keep it at the front desk". After my first item never showing up, I requested for them to give me a call back to let me know if they found it or not. They acted like this was a bother but agreed to it. I waited about an hour with no call back then tried calling to follow up. They IGNORED my call twice then finally called me back when they were closing 3 HOURS LATER and said "nobody reported finding anything" UM so did nobody go CHECK??? I find it very hard to believe within 15 minutes these items were gone. Front desk is just too lazy to walk down 1 flight of stairs to grab something out of the locker room for a paying customer. If I didn't live an hour away I would have driven back and gotten the items myself. Very frustrating. read more

Billing problems: charged for months when we were not coming to the club. Management is clueless since it was not a re-activation! (they go around in circles from one person to next.) We wanted to cancel... never asked to return. My son was using the membership for training tennis. He went off to college. So no, we did not want to reactive to a full-membership. Just an excuse for them. Why try to keep people's money when they weren't even there. Why would we go through months of effort trying to get our refunds? Greedy business! Of all the clubs, this one is my favorite! I'm hesitant to write great things because I am afraid of the influx of others--I have to give credit where due. Customer service is Always on point! Some of the other clubs are hit or miss, service here is consistently 5 stars. This location, as others have mentioned, does not have a huge workout area as it is more of a tennis club. They could use a smith machine here...aside from that, the workout area is perfect for what I need to do. The atmosphere isn't as stuffy as others mentioned. As long as you aren't intimidated to strike up a conversation, others are happy to speak. There is a beer and wine bar if you'd like to have a social. There is a smoothie bar respectively. The pool is an outdoor pool, perfect for laps and sunbathing. read more

I went as a guest. If you are into tennis this is your joint. They have free babysitting for members, which if you have kids can be good. They have a few cardio machines. A few weights. The locker rooms are nice-clean, equipped with towels, shampoo, hair spray, etc. you don't have to remember to bring anything but shower shoes. There is a small cafe too. You pay for what you get, and the monthly fee here will set you back a bit. read more

This location is my home club, but I have so far been to 5 different Life Time clubs so this review will speak to both experiences - this club in specific, and Life Time in general. First some background to give perspective on what eye the review is coming from: I have been using fitness facilities of all kinds pretty much my entire adult life - 24 Hr Fitness, LA Fitness, couple of non-franchise clubs, various residential clubhouse facilities, and many many hotel gym facilities (probably 50+). I work out on the average 4-5 days per week, mostly weights but mix in cardio, x-training, and classes. As with any Life Time and since this place is brand new, it is fantastically clean for gym standards and machines are all high quality. Since it is a tennis club, outdoor area is awesome - lots of sitting areas including a huge central firepit that they light up every evening (unless it's too cold or too warm). Best "looking" club I've ever used. The Peachtree location is VERY tennis-centric. If you are a tennis player, it's a dream and probably a bargain at $110-140/mo (I joined as a founder's member (when they opened) and I believe currently the price is in the $140/mo range). 30+ courts including a stadium court that seat hundreds, half-dozen indoors, couple clay, and couple youth, and couple mini courts. I used to play tennis in high school, and this place makes me want to pick it up again. Still debating. Definitely 5 stars. The non-tennis facilities are nominal, especially considering their diamond level. No barbells or free weight stations other than dumbbells (to 60 lbs), and a couple of complete set of cable stations (~18-20 total) for the entire body. Still not a bad workout, but I sorely miss the free weights! Cross training area is small compared to other Life Times, but still has complete equipments (balls, sticks, abs, etc.). While not my ideal, I still get a complete workout. Aerobic inventory (treadmills, bikes, etc.) is quite good, and consists of top-line equipments. 2.5 stars here. Classes are still forming, but it is complete: Aerobics, total conditioning, yoga, pilates, etc. but you'll need to plan it well since it's not as numerous as other Lifetimes. Separate yoga, spin & pilates rooms, again comparatively small but nice. They have only been open 5 months and classes are starting to fill up nicely though, so I think this will pick up soon. 3.5 stars. No indoor pool (they have outdoor), basketball, racquetball, sauna, jacuzzi, which is disappointing. All Lifetimes have these so I don't understand why they couldn't have torn down a couple of their 34 courts and built the building bigger. Locker room is small - about 1/3 size of other locations, 3 sinks, 6 shower stalls. Given that other 4 locations I've been to have similarly much larger locker rooms, this is again a shortfall. But they have a bar with several TVs, which is unique! 2 stars on miscellaneous facilities. As for the other Life Times - I have gone to Sandy Springs (diamond) & Johns Creek (gold) in GA, and Centreville (gold) and Reston (diamond) in VA. All are similar in facilities to each other (but quite different from Peachtree Corners), but the diamond units are definitely better maintained from cleanliness and amenities standpoint. Is it worth the price difference between gold & diamond though? I would say no and the only reason I would go for diamond is if it offered logistical convenience. They all have great equipment, not terribly crowded (a la LA & 24hr chains), and overall very clean. The reason I give 4 stars overall (for both my location and Life Time in general) is that while I can nitpick on dissatisfactions here and there, the overall workout experience at Life Time is highly satisfactory. Obviously if you are looking for get-in, get-out, just-need-the-equipment-to-work-out type of a place, you'd be overpaying for Life Time. But to me the enjoyability and motivation of working out has a lot to do with the workout experience, and I find that I enjoy going to work out more than I ever have. And I'm willing to pay the extra to help keep me motivated. read more

The membership director at this location is a rude woman that could not care less about her job. Of course, that's of the date of this review, it's almost guaranteed, that with her attitude, she'll soon move onto a great career at Kmart or become a TSA agent. I love how this club has downgraded to an onyx club (because nobody in the market was willing to pay $144 for such a tiny/limited gym) but they grasp onto, "We're an onyx fitness club and a DIAMOND TENNIS CLUB," like it's the final pack of meat in Venezuela. By the way, the onyx fee per month is $99/month if joining from this location. The fitness floor is limited but does host the typical Technogym assortment that you see at most new clubs (except for the Sandy Springs location) and it was the first location to have two olympic lift platforms--although they're rarely used here. Good to know: No indoor pool, not 24/7, no sauna or steam room. Good to know (if you're coming from a club in the DC or NYC metro): No Technogym cardio equipment but they do have a few flat Woodways. read more

First, I nearly drove past it after a business meeting and talking on a work call - it really is kind of tucked back off the road. However, it was so close to where I was I could have almost walked there!! The first LT with tennis courts in Georgia, the place is crazy! They have 20 outdoor tennis courts - I was in awe. Apparently, they have indoor courts as well, but I didn't have any time to look for them. Actually, I wish I had more time to snoop around at the place, but I had to get in a quick workout and shower and get back for an evening with friends. This location also has the awesome outdoor pool, but apparently no indoor pool (this would keep me from coming here most of the time when the outdoor pool is closed). I rely on my pool at my home gym. I believe this is also a Diamond-Level LT Gym (this means you have to have a diamond membership to get in the door) - no one said anything when I flashed my card, except welcome Lindy. So I really am not 100%. Plenty of cardio equipment and the locker room was clean and had no issue finding an empty locker. I won't be relocating, but since this was convenient today it worked out so very nicely for me. I'm sure I will be back. read more

I had a document made and signed approving my cancellation in August, it is currently April and I'm still being charged every month for a membership I can't even use. One of the higher classes within the lifetime realm of gyms, this is their "diamond level" gym. It was formerly known as the Racket club of the south. They have a huge amount of tennis courts, both indoors and outdoors as well as a main stadium court that has multiple bleacher seats surrounding it. If you are a tennis player, this is the place to be at. All of their courts are well maintained from the lower level courts with guest seating, to the upper level courts, to the main stage court with the stadium seating. The inside contains a really nice bar and cafe that contains all healthy (ish) foods, as well as an outdoor sitting area that allows you to overlook the main court. (picture sky box seating). The caveat to this facility is that it is based on the tennis. The gym itself is VERY Small, compared to other lifetime fitness centers around the country. The locker rooms are small as well, and they do not have any jacuzzi or hot tub, which would be great to relax in, especially after playing some tennis! Most of the fitness equipment that they have are catered towards tennis players, so if you are looking for general equipment, you may not find it here. However, if you are looking for tennis driven equipment, then this is your place! Another one of the issues that i have here, and its a reason i gave it only 3 stars is that in order to use the indoor courts, you have to pay an additional fee. With the prices of lifetime Diamond, you should not have to pay for anything else. Coming from NY, the gym includes nearly everything. Here, you have to pay additional for the use of their indoor tennis courts (and seeing that they are a primary source for tennis, this should be all inclusive). Also, their kids center is a lot smaller than most of the other centers, as this is more geared for the tennis player, not the typical lifetime gym. read more

Very expensive club for what you get - and you better love tennis before considering joining (I do). Staff is nice & professional though everyone knows its a revolving door of both mgt and tennis pros. Has been that way for some time I'm told. Many older members just go with the flow and prefer the older days (tho it was not profitable). Food is bad, bar is hardly used which is a shame. Indoor courts are extra as are drills. All in all, its what you make of it I guess but after 7 months, I'm moving on as its not worth the cost. read more

This LifeTime is my home club and I seriously cannot speak highly enough of it. I am not a tennis player but I know that they have about 25 courts and are very tennis centric. A lot of their fitness equipment is targeted for tennis players. However, the reason I rank this location so highly is not because of their courts. This location has the BEST fitness classes. So far I have taken the spin/Edge cycle (45 min) class, Barre, Circuits, Barbell strength, hot vinyasa, restorative yoga, and slow burn yoga. For starters, I am obsessed with their yoga studio. I was ready to end the tour and sign up for the club when I saw those vaulted ceilings. The instructors the club selects are top notch. The perfect combination of PUSH but not too pushy- if that makes sense at all. I have had the most positive experiences with their yoga instructors- they all take the time to stop by each person to correct positioning! Mila starts each class with oils and a mantra and Michelle will challenge you and make you laugh at the same time! Jane teaches slow burn and restorative and makes sure you get in the deepest stretches. I'm pretty sure she is gumby. I cannot believe the drastic improvement in my practice with the help of these instructors. (Since the club is newer, the class size is smaller so there is so much focus on each student. ) On to other classes...Blythe teaches Pedal and Punch, which is essentially a 45 min spin and 45 min kick boxing class which is FANTASTIC. I am the most uncoordinated person alive and I love the fact that she did not single me out like some teachers will do and just let me do my own thing when it comes to the fumbling/kicking I do. (Also they are adding piloxing gloves soon to the mix!!) I took Barre for a month previously at a Barre specific club and was curious to see how this club would compare as a general gym with fitness classes. I was very impressed. It was just as good- and not nearly as expensive! Once they get more of the Barre balls I would say that the classes are equivalent. As you can clearly see I love all the instructors and classes. I think there is a great variety so you don't get bored and your body is constantly challenged by all the variety. But that's not all. I think they did the greatest job hiring their front desk people too. They will take the time to learn your name! In regards to the facilities. Immaculate! The ladies locker room is clean and well stocked (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair dryers, towels). I easily make the transition from work out to work. I've never had a problem waiting for a shower. The cardio equipment is really up to date. They have the arc trainer elliptical (my favorite because the motion is very easy on the knees), the most advanced treadmills that have the cushion tread for those with shin issues, and they have this cross country ski/thigh toner machine that is new to me- but super cool. They also have two of the muscle oscillating machines that make your muscles contract like 101011x a second- I read that it is great for recovery and apparently 30 seconds on this thing in a squat position is better then a 10 minute wall sit. Price- its not cheap. But I feel that it is well worth it. No more then a coffee a day if you break it down. Anyway, I love this place! read more

Why would the other Lifetime centers have those great features which a gym should have for the cost and not this one!. Beautiful, clean and updated facility. My favorite part was the stunning yoga room with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and wooden beams. Unfortunately, I found that the class schedules were based more towards either the stay at home or retired. I had trouble making it to class as I work 8-6 and have little flexibility. Was just there this past weekend. This is not my home club. First, this really is a tennis resort masking as a Fitness club. And doing a damn good job of it too. Loved it. It is a beautiful facility with indoor and outdoor courts. Most of the 30 courts were hard with two Har-tru clay courts. Beautiful landscaping. Cafe style observation all over the place. The fitness equipment is state of the art. Even a stadium seated centre court. Definitely a pro tournament circuit level facility. Could easily be a resort if they added hoteling. Must be diamond level member visit. Though I was still allowed courtesy access with lower membership. The staff was very pleasant and made me feel at home. If you're a local and love tennis but don't want to pay country club prices this is the bargain of a lifetime ( no pun intended). Go take a tour or request a day pass. You'll be hooked! read more

Okay so I have a family of 5 (3 kids)... Being a member you can go to all platinum gyms so I honestly swim and take advantage of my membership at atlanta because of the kids, but i dont like the crowded environment of the Atlanta gym so M-F i workout here and they know the boys so I get a community/country club feel from the staff... I love it! Some peope say its pricey but with the price comes events, cookouts, multiple gym access, the best kickboxing class, and place where my entire family can hang out eat dinner and we can workout without waiting on machines or people having social hour and looking to be seen! We have been members at this club for approximately 2 1/2 years. The club has gone down hill. The cleanliness of this club has deteriorated. The floors are filthy, equipment/machines are never wiped down, towels/garbage left all over work area. Locker rooms are filthy! For the past year it appears that they have cut staff. The club is like no other. The staff are energetic and active. We used to be members at the JCC, and the staff at the gym looked no where near healthy. My children take tennis lessons are they are very structured. The locker rooms are always spotless and clean. The child center has staff who are kind and caring. Unless you play tennis and are a stuck up/pretentious ____ then you will not fit in here. They miss the athletic part of the gym. It should be embarrassing to them at the lack of weight machines and cardio machines. The treadmills literally face the towards each other so you are staring at a stranger when you are getting your cardio in (how much more awkward could it get) - you want to invite them to the locker room with me afterwards?? After visiting one time, I cancelled my membership (thank goodness I did a month to month) as they are sooooo unreasonable. I asked for a Manager, none were available. I was also told that don't cancel, just go to a "gold" vs. a "diamond" and they have more weights if I am "looking to work out with weights" - it was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. It actually happened about two months ago but I just remembered how irritating it was so I wanted to review the place. It is first and foremost a gym (on the outside at least) but on the inside it is some weird cult of tennis stars, children and not much else. I travel 100% of the time an my hotel gyms have 100% better options than this hole in the wall. The lack of give a crap from the two "ladies" at the front desk was pretty sad. I asked to be called by one of the 7 managers (none of which were at work at 10 on a Tuesday (must be nice) - yeah, the call never happened but since I waiting a day or two past the "trial" I was sure charged for the pro-rated amount the following month. This place is just sad, they need money so bad that they sign you up under false pretenses and when you figure it out (no matter how fast) you are still left paying. Just a really, really, really bad experience. I am also sure that I will never be reached out to because they have nothing to offer and nothing to say - The only good thing about this "gym" was that the door opens both ways so you can leave as quick as you enter.... Has gone down hill. Used to be a member. Now it is almost exclusively for Kids Academy and senior citizens. Great facility, but very expensive. Everything is extra, including indoor courts (which are very difficult to reserve). No Sauna, No indoor pool, no Jacuzzi, expensive food and drink. Adult ALTA tennis leagues run by rude bartender (if he doesn't like you -- you don't play even though you are paying $150 a month in dues and he is paying $0 - he is in the lineup first and you wait until he feels like putting you in) and 2.5 rated weightlifter, not tennis pros. Used to be packed on Saturdays with people taking drills and playing outside - now it's like a ghost town on weekends. Why? Members are treated like $ not like people. If you want to sit down and discuss a problem with the manager about a problem with an employee - the three of you sitting down to discuss it to work it out - nope -- it wasn't permitted by the manager. What? Just let it fester, get worse, and have the member quit -- that's the Lifetime way of handling things! Stay away people. They have been through half a dozen managers, dozens of tennis pros, many employees and hundreds of members. Why? They don't listen! Maybe they should start doing that. read more

Having been a member of multiple Lifetime clubs over the years in different locations, I can honestly say that this is one of their nicest clubs! Tennis is the main draw here with absolutely beautiful outdoor courts and park-like surroundings. When winter comes (or rain) they are one of the few facilities with multiple indoor courts. As a Lifetime member, you also receive access to all other LT clubs as well. There is a cafe as well as a restaurant and bar that overlooks the indoor courts as well as outside patio seating. I don't understand the horrible reviews here. Even one guy says great experience until he cancelled membership. Every Lifetime contract is the same. If you bother to read it, you'll know that a 30 day cancellation notice is required. No need to bash the club because you didn't read your contract. Staff and tennis pros are more than helpful and friendly! Cardio equipment and machines are first rate and club facilities are kept immaculate! If you're looking to just pump iron and grunt in the gym, this is probably not the place for you. Do yourself a favor and take a tour of the facility. There's just something special about this place. read more
