This is the worst gym in the country! It is filthy with hair balls on the floor dirt everywhere and dust. There is never staff present. Any interaction I have had with staff has been horrendous. This is pretty much a male only gym and if you are a female, you MUST make sure that you are fully clothed or you will be met with creepy individuals. The machines are old and break very easily as well as machines not being up to code. I wanted a nice safe, clean environment, free of any distractions or weirdness, but that is exactly the opposite of what I got coming to Workout Anytime in Dunwoody. read more

This is a quality gym with a lot of nice equipment--even if right now, I can't use much of it. (I can think of a time that I might use more). The staff are very nice and helpful. Things are spaced so my wheelchair can get through, and the bathroom can accommodate me without having to leave the door open. The trainers are amazing and the environment of the fellow gym users is friendly - even helping out someone a little clumsy at adjusting equipment. The door is not automatic (I did not expect it to be), but I rarely need to fumble with it as someone is there to help me enter and exit. This fitness center is very close to my house. I'm always arrive in the evening after work in last two weeks I went to the gym before work,I was very disappointed !!! There is a member who I will see him in the morning for about six days a week in the floor he about 60 years old he occupiers several machine at the same time!and does not let other men touch the machine This is small fitness center not a private gym and all members need to take turns using the machine ... As of the fall of 2018, they are under NEW OWNERSHIP and management. They are showing an improved focus on maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and equipment that is updated and operating well. There is a sincere interest to facilitate a "community feel" and I believe there is a genuine interest to improve the member experience! All the basics for Cardio and Strength Training, TRX, Battle Ropes, Landmine Pole, Bands, Balls, etc. for a good self-directed workout. (Evan, Daniel, Ebony, Kenneth, Reese). The trainers all have their own style and areas of expertise, which you can count on. I always enjoy the vibe more when they are there! In my experience, the members are polite and friendly and I've always felt safe and comfortable. SPEAK UP if there is something that needs attention!!! Great gym and great machines! I love the fact that it's 24 hrs. Only 3 stars because everyday most of the machines are full with weight discs. Several gyms have fees for the members who refuse to put their weights back. Maybe something to consider? Also, as a common courtesy one should wipe down the equipment right? How to do so when most of the dispensers are out of wipes? Finally, the music is very loud in the mornings and though it has a great energetic beat, not everyone likes rap or hip-hop. Nice sanitary gym with great newer equipment. Would go before or after work when it usually is busiest and never had to wait too long for machines or plate weight equipment. The manager Bart is very personable and went above and beyond to make sure any issues I had with billing were resolved before I left. Well, I was looking for a place to tan and workout. What I found was a place where gossip runs heavy not from the patrons but from the staff! It is obvious that nepotism is a word that is not in the vocabulary of this gym so if you find yourself in the cross hairs of one of the staff, lookout because it is coming! I walked in one day and someone I didn't know told me that they were there, saw what gossip Bart was sharing about me, told me none of it was true. She told me to quit, it has been pretty bad. Small but great gym. The equipment is always clean! And the staff is always great to talk to. I haven't gone to my larger gym since this whole Pandemic thing started and when this place opened I was a bit skeptical to go exercise anywhere yet.... But I took a chance and went and checked this place out! I'm grateful I did! They work hard at keeping the place clean and sanitary. They check your temperature on the way in and provide a bottle of cleaning solution to every Member coming in. This is an example of getting what you pay for. This is not a super-fancy gym with the newest equipment and cleanest facilities. It also doesn't charge the same monthly fees as those super-fancy gyms. $15 per month and no contract period for 24-hour access is very reasonable. Treadmills: I've never once waited for a treadmill, whether I go at 6 AM or 6 PM. The treadmills are Matrix. They have a slightly shorter running bed and fewer features than Precor, but again, you get what you pay for. Expect at least one to be out of service due to maintenance reasons. These aren't brand new treadmills, so you might hear some weird noises while elevating or feel some slippage on the running belt. Also, I've seen a lot of people hop off after working up a good sweat and walk away without wiping down the equipment, so I'd suggest wiping them down with the provided wet wipes before AND after you run. Ellipticals: Both Matrix and Precor available, but these are often full at busy times. Again, not the newest machines and they're starting to show their age. Bikes: Both upright and recumbent bikes available. Stairmaster: One. It works. Weight machines: There is a good variety, so you can definitely work different muscle groups, but like the other equipment in this place, they've seen better days. The grips on several machines are missing altogether, so you'll be grabbing bare metal. Some are half missing, so part of your palm is hitting metal and half a plastic grip. Cables are frayed and sometime break, so occasionally a machine is out of service. Free weights: Good variety and plenty of benches and stations, but this area tends to get crowded at all times. Water fountains: Two, one short and one tall. Both dispense tepid water. No bottle fill option. Restrooms: What's that smell?? read more

Well when I first joined this gym, the staff was very friendly and really seemed excited for me to join. The minute I put my pen on the paper and signed the contract, they immediately pretended as if they didn't know who I was. The representative I spoke with said the gym was busy during peak hours but rarely too busy to be unable to use machines. He also said he did personal training sessions in which he would contact me to follow my status. It was all lies. The gym is constantly busy in which you have to wait for machines, at night times when it is not being monitored, many kids come in without memberships to workout. (on a constant basis). The representative never contacted me and they showed little concern for its members aside from getting you to sign up. I tried to cancel my membership over the phone, and they will require a written 30 day notice while also charging you for the 30 days even if you don't use the membership anymore. All in all, terrible gym, you certainly get what you paid for (actually quite less), stay away from this gym as there are many others which although may cost a couple of bucks more but you will be way more satisfied. read more

They do not even deserve a one star. This gym is filthy. The cardio equipment has not been cleaned probably ever- The staff says at first it was a new cleaning service that's why it hasn't been cleaned properly but it's still not clean months later. It only would take 10 min if even that to wipe down and clean the cardio each day. There is no reason what so ever for such a poor hygiene for the equipment. Not to mention this month I was charged an additional 29 so I call to inquire why, because I should only be charged 15 a month. They say it's an annual fee that's charged every year. Not only was this fee never mentioned it is not on any paperwork they give you to compare the two memberships. After I was told it was in my contract that was emailed to me- this is not a way to do business. All fees must be told to the consumer. They are starting to remodel- painting etc but if you don't do the basics of just cleaning it doesn't matter how many times you paint the walls- it will still be nasty! Also I go at 745 am- there is no music playing- I mentioned this as well and was told it must be a member who is turning the music off while they aren't there. They said they would watch the cameras to see who it was doing it and revoke their membership. That was over a month ago- I go in today and no music still. It's constant bs with this place. You think what to expect for $15 its cheap for sure- but if you can't run a place for the membership being so cheap you need to raise your price. It's not worth the hassle- I wouldn't even go here if I could for free. I'm canceling today. Don't waste your time or money with this place. read more

Even as I wind down from work and suffering from sleep deprivation studying until 4am in the morning, along with falling asleep at my desk from this horrendous pollen count of today I still find myself drawn to this gym. I don't know what it is but the thought of missing a day of working out depresses me just as much as not being able to see my boys much. This gym is great and convenient, yes you have those days where the card reader is non-functional but electronics don't work all the time as they should so that will never deter me from giving this place at least four stars. The other motivation was to burn off the perfect slice of banana walnut cake I had earlier from Starbucks with my quad venti soy latte and what better way to do that then go to my favorite gym where you can be you without having to try to look like the guy who looks like he is getting ready to compete for Mr. Olympia. But, I pay $25 a month instead of the standard $15 and with that it's supposed to include access to the tanning bed (which I don't use, free guests (which I don't use), and aqua massage bed. I've been with this gym 3 weeks and the massage bed has been out of order at least 4 times. That's a bit ridiculous. I've called a few times to see when it will be fixed and no one ever returns my voicemails. Also, apparently the front door gets stuck in the locked position sometimes. I honestly don't understand the low reviews for this location. Maybe the gym isn't the cleanest of all gyms, but it's not as dirty as many people commented (maybe they improved the cleanliness recently). I see cleaning crew early in the morning almost every weekday. The Dunwoody location is my favorite among the three locations I frequent (Suwanee, Buckhead, and Dunwoody). The trainers that I have met in the early morning are kind and encouraging. I personally would not hire a personal trainer, but they seem to really care about their clients. Maybe the environment is a little different during different times of the day, but early morning is great. There is always at least one shower open in the women's restroom, and I rarely have to wait for equipment. The gym is good for the price ($15/month for 24/7 hour access), and it is conveniently located near Kroger and Starbucks for your pre- or post-workout grocery and coffee needs. I've been a member of this gym for several years. I find that it has a great assortment of aerobic equipment, machines, free weights and other equipment. The manager (Bart), owner and trainers are very friendly, helpful and encouraging. I have used various trainers at this location over the years and have had a great experience. Yes the gym is small, yes it gets a bit crowded during rush hour on the weekdays, and yes, membership is cheap. But I love this gym, I've always hated the large gyms where it seemed as though it was a club rather than an actual gym and being in Atlanta, there are plenty of those. So when I found WorkoutAnytime, I fell in love. I go early (6 -10am) on the weekends and leave work early during the week to beat the crowd. A friend of mine goes later in the evening and she says its pretty empty then on good days. Not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about regarding people just walking in, though they do not hassle you about bringing a guest with you one or two times, I haven't noticed many unfamiliar faces... This is a small gym, but it has all the essentials for a fuss-free workout (ellipticals, treadmills, bikes, free-weights etc). Even on crowded days you can usually get on a machine that you need within a reasonable wait time. The ability to go after hours (swipe-through lock on the door) is a real plus - so you're not a slave to 'business hours' and you can indulge in an early morning or late night work-out on a bad day. Since the remodel it's gotten bigger and even more equipment and I haven't ever felt that it was unclean. Enjoy having the availability of a 24/7. Have been doing some personalized training with Joe and it has been tremendously beneficial. Working out by myself has been great but there is a significant difference when someone is there to help keep you accountable and engaged. I believe some of the older reviews are from when it was at another location... the newer location is much bigger, and they just got a lot of new equipment. Bottom line is that for the cost of one lunch per month, you can be a member here. I usually belong to more than one gym, and while I've cycled thru others, I've maintained this one. I've worked out on Thanksgiving, Xmas etc... My wife goes to another gym and they line up outside for them to open at 6:00 am... not an issue at Workout anytime. I recently got back from Europe and my time was off - I just headed to the gym at 4:00 am.... Anywho... if you want to lift weights, get in some cardio, and this location is convenient - give it a shot! read more

Do NOT join these gyms they will continually charge you after your membership ends, they will charge you even when your account is "Frozen". I have called ABC which handles this stuff and they will give you the run around! So now I've had to write my bank a letter to tell them about the fraudulent charges since I used a debit card for workout anytime 24/7. Don't make the same mistake I did these ppl are crooks and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau!!! read more

I was a member here for almost a year. It was a decent gym with all the equipment I needed. However, I cancelled the monthly payments after I moved away from dunwoody area, but they continued to charge me for it. I checked my bank statement and noticed that they charged me 40 DOLLARS this month AFTER I cancelled it 3 months ago. I decided to look into it a bit more because I dont regularly check my bank account, and I found out theyve been charging me 20$ a month after I signed up during a special, which they told me i would get charged only 15$ a month. How did it go from 15$ to 40$? Not only did I not authorize the transaction but they havent called me back or tried to fix it. Finally got my bank to put a stop pay on the transactions from this place, after multiple attempts to just work it out with the gym. Unless you want to get scammed financially, I would suggest a different gym. read more
