Lifetime is all around the best club I've ever belonged to. There is so much more besides your typical work out areas. The pool, the spa, the cafe. I can work out, get my hair trimmed, then pop into the cafe to work for a bit before laying out at the pool. And the best part--- amazing pickle ball courts!! Some of the best courts I've played on. Life time is the worst gym I've never been. Not want to waste my time to go details about what i have been through. Just know that the management is poor. They don't concer about their members. They just want to sell you membership and personal training classes. Classes are always full during peak hours as well as thr equipments. I think the gym are overloaded. My wife was a member of this gym last year. Before she left for Asia for 3 month last September, she requested through her coach to put her membership on hold to lower the monthly cost. But they did not honor her request and kept charging her credit card for normal monthly fee. It took us quite some time to sort it out with them and got back part of the money. At the end of last year, my wife went to the gym in person and cancel her membership. Guess what? They still kept charging her credit card for monthly membership fee for January this year. Now we need to talk to them again to ask for money back. This is ridiculous. I suggest not to give them your credit card for recursive charges. They do not deserve your trust! read more

Spa Service - The massages are pricey compared to hand and stone / massage envy however I recently received a massage from Rachel and it was worth every cent. Days later and I can still feel how much she helped me in one session. She also gave me recommendations on stretches and things to do to help my problem areas. She's amazing. read more

They hounded me for months before opening. Decided to stop in yesterday. I was ready to pay the fee and join. After waiting in a 5-6 person line to scan in I was asked to step aside and wait in another line. Ultimately I was told if I don't have an appointment I need to make one. This is an absolutely amazing place. I went there on a guest pass and was very pleased. Have not joined yet as I live a little bit of a drive away and the downside is the route 1 traffic in the morning, but aside from that, the place is amazing. I know the GM from CanDo, he's a great person and very kind as well. This place is millions of times better than Princeton Fitness and Wellness Center, that place is just beyond terrible. The HR manager there named Lindsay Harris was rude and just rotten. Makes you wonder if she kisses her mother with that mouth. But this place is absolutely wonderful. Place is very clean 99% of the time. Sometimes sloppy people leave towels around but the staff is very good here. Ask a question to anyone, they almost always have the answer for you. Life caffe has great options for all diet restrictions and is reasonably priced. If you can't find equipment you like here you'd be lying, there's multiple types of everything. The place is also pretty large, so it doesn't really feel crowded even at 6pm on a weekday. I do have one complaint, wish the outdoor hot-tub was open year-round. read more

I love this gym. It really has a lot of options that I could choose from, like the two pool areas, one indoor and one outdoor. The staff is very attentive to the well-being of the gym members. The bathrooms are rather clean, but the soap often runs out and urine can end up on the floor. Although it doesn't bother me, I can see how it could bother you. The busiest days are Fridays and Sunday nights, and the gym hours are very flexible times. Come here for average priced membership to a gym with great amenities, responsive staff and mediocre cleanliness in the facilities. read more

Great place! Facility is brand new. Lots of machines and equipment. Very spacious in general. Locker room area is nice and clean. The showers are also very nice and big. You can choose between a regular shower head or a rain shower head. A feature that I really like! The sauna and steam rooms have a good capacity. The studio classes they offer are good and pretty diverse so you have a good number of choices to choose. The instructors I have had are excellent and the personnel is very friendly. The lady at the front desk (Corina) is always ready to welcome you with a smile regardless if it is 5 in the morning. The hours of operation are great (4AM to midnight every day, including weekends) and one has the opportunity to use the membership to access other locations. The downside is that the membership is a bit pricey and if you have a family the whole membership cost can go up. read more

LifeTime is a nightmare if you want to cancel your membership. They will continuously bill you after the termination of your membership and nobody from LifeTime will be willing to solve the issue for you. I submitted a written form to cancel my membership in Apr. Since they require a 30-day advance notice for membership cancellation, that means my membership should be terminated in May, which they confirmed. However, after my membership status was changed to "terminated" in May (as shown in my LifeTime app), they still keep billing me every month. From Jun to Sep, I called them for more than 10 times for this issue! They kept saying my membership had been terminated and I shouldn't see any new transaction from them. But I keep seeing a new transaction from them at the beginning of each month. Since LifeTime won't solve the problem, I have to call my bank every single month to cancel their transactions. The thing got worse in Sep. When I called my bank again to cancel a LifeTime transaction in Sep, my bank told me LifeTime sent them a dispute letter about the past transactions. Now I cannot cancel any transaction from LifeTime until the dispute is settled down. read more

Great ambiance, overall spacious. However a few suggestions - plenty of room for cardio machines that are under utilized. However, the free weights area is crowded and is over utilized. Perhaps find a way to expand the free weights area. Swimming pools are mostly rented out for classes or swim practices rather than to paid members during peak hours. Perhaps restrict certain lanes for members / free swim during peak hours. read more

If you are looking for a nice gym, this is NOT a good choice because they only care about money but never made members satisfied. Horrible experience dealing with their employees. No patient and very unprofessional. The place itself is great but it's too much to deal with the same issue every month. They make my gym life so difficulty and I want to quit and tell people the truths at this place. I have been their member since August of last year. The employees were nice because I paid so much every month. In early December as I found out that my school district offers 32 credits through Peerfit so I called in and told them to switch me to Peerfit program. Ever since, the people that I was speaking over the phone were mean and inpatient. They are charging people so much money for selling the services and Im still shocked that they hanged up my phone when I was trying to ask questions. BAD!!! DO NOT JOIN IT! read more

Something for everyone! It is spotlessly clean and the employees work so hard to keep it that way. The classes are so much fun and every instructor is dedicated to teaching and helping you reach your personal goals. The pool area is fantastic and is lots of fun because you can work out, and at the same time, watch all the little families and kids enjoying the pool. It gives me belly laughs to see how cute they all are. My Mom LOVES it here because she can "walk" her laps in the pool. This shows that they also care about their Seniors. The poolside cafe is awesome and offers healthy, reasonably priced food, and if you forget something, they have a cafe inside as well that has small items like headphones, bottles, etc. that you may have forgotten. If you don't understand how to work with a piece of equipment, they have a desk on the workout floor with people willing to help you anytime. I feel at home when I am here and even though the parking lot seems crowded, don't let that turn you away. There is always plenty of room inside and lots for you to do! I have no idea how they fit so many people into that gym and everyone still has the feeling that they are valued. Every employee is very approachable too. The monthly price is fair and gets you an amazing experience, every time you visit. The locker rooms are beautiful and have every amenity you can think of. There is always plenty of hot water and a choice of a regular shower or a "rain" shower. My husband and I have a plan to travel all over the USA and visit every Lifetime Fitness because they are everywhere! We will let you know on Yelp how that goes! Update: we have now also been using the spa for facials and are so happy! Crystal and Jessica work wonders with our skin and have many compliments due to regular facials! My wife and I hosted our children's birthday party. The staff did an amazing job coordinating a party for 80 people. The party planning coordinators did a good job communicating with us throughout the whole process. The party was held outdoors but it started to rain and our guests were brought inside with no problem since they had already anticipated the situation. The staff was friendly and accommodating to all of our guests. Everyone should explore the option of having a party here. read more

I loved the facilities and training personal. This location is just 1 year old, so all equipment is modern, high ceilings, nice pool, great outdoor area. Training personal and the front desk are passionate and always ready to help. Management on the other hand is not that good to say the least. The gym is packed between 6-8pm and they are doing nothing to spread the classes. Tired of waiting for equipment or just waiting for the shower :-( And people are getting cold shoulder for any questions/requests to the customer service. I had to cancel. I have been a member since it opened. The facilities are amazing. The equipment is amazing. The cost is not cheap! Not sure you get the bang for your buck until the summertime, when the outdoor area is open. They care more about bringing in members and a signing you up for classes than anything else. They close certain areas off for these classes as well during prime workout times (after 5pm). I also must say most members of this clubs are slobs. You would think for the area and amount of money you pay, the members would pic up after themselves. These members trash the locker rooms leaving towels in the showers, floors, and toilet areas. Also, get things in writing from staff. My son joined as well. His membership went up just because he turned 30. Never heard of a cost change at that age. It is an awesome gym, clean, has everything, all the amenities. What I didn't like is that after I had a membership, they were still trying to upsell me on everything. LT Bucks, RMA/AMA testing, Personal Trainer, you would think for a membership that expensive more of those things would be included, or at least twice a month included, and then you could purchase more if you would like, for the bare-bones membership, I can't complain, but don't continue to upsell me, its off putting. Especially in the onboarding session where they give you all this great info and then try to stick you with a $700 bill at the end. read more

Terrible place and awful if you have any kids. All of the kids classes are run by teacher who have no training whatsoever. I stopped by a tumble class only to see the teacher let a kid fall off the equipment and laugh about it. When I tried to drop my younger daughter off at the kids academy there were older kids in the tot spot which is supposed to be for toddlers running around with metal shopping carts and rammding them into each other. No teacher or any supervisor were watching them. The gym also told me that they do not need to follow any guidelines for child to adult supervisor ratio as they are not a daycare. My older daughter is signed up for group swim lessons here and was told that the gym is on holiday for the whole week and that our only option is to get 25% off a swim clinic or a private lesson which is unacceptable. The pool and shower areas are also beginning to get extremely dirty. I would give this place 0 stars if possible and really regret ever coming here. read more

I usually don't do this but.... Life Time Athletic in Princeton are crooks. I contacted them 30 days prior to wanting to cancel my membership 1 month before termination of my membership. The person on the phone stated they were going go notate the account and that I would just have to come in before the cancellation date to sign off and finalize said cancellation. When I came in for the cancellation date to sign off they said I had to put the 30 day cancellation notice in writing. I told them that was not what I was told over the phone. In the back and forth they did not seem to care about what I had to say and whatever they said was correct and that they knew I was wrong which I wasn't. I tried to put a block on their payment through my bank and they proceeded to withdraw the $195 anyway. I put in a dispute with my bank and Life Time fought it and tried to say that I asked to cancel 1 month after I really did. DO NOT GO HERE, DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY! read more

I've heard very bad things about this gym... many of the items are " a la carte" as another reviewer said...they bugged me for 7 mos before the gym was even built to give them money but I was wiser than that...I finally went to check it out... met obnoxious pushy sales person who didn't know shit about nutrition... the gym looked pretty empty in the middle of the afternoon... this gym will never last... I was a member of Forrestal village fitness... formerly Can Do and that " luxury" gym went bust.. this one is an even bigger rip off... it's a big franchise con... if you google them you will read dozens of stories of lifetime corporate being sued for various infractions... they were recently sold to a private equity firm... you know what that means... mitt Romney anyone?... this gym is the ultimate in excess... overpriced... no medical personnel on staff... a place where people can go to feel elite that they can waste $130 a month to go to a gym that will eventually go under like all of the other luxury gyms in the area... do yourself a favor peoples... don't buy it! read more
