Great experience as a trial class! Very friendly employees and instructors. However, if you have a busy schedule that's unpredictable, it's hard to schedule a class since they all need to be scheduled ahead of time. I couldn't get officially booked into a class for three weeks; everything else was a waitlist and I was 10+ on each class I wanted to do. I guess it's just how things are with most CP but not my jam. read more

Love that they offer a free 30 min intro class to see what it's like. Class was a good introduction with brief history and explanation of pilates. It was cool learning to use the machines for the first time having never done it before. I feel like I got a solid intro to what it's like. That being said, I do wish it was more difficult and we had options for varying degrees of difficulty (ie being allowed to add more resistance,etc). Everyone was super nice and the instructor did a good job of explaining the moves to us newbies. read more

Do not waste your money here this is the worst place you could try to go and try Pilates. The intro class sucks. It's 30 minutes and they teach you absolutely nothing. The payment plans are outrageous. All they wanna do is get your money when you can't even take a class because they're always booked out months in advance. They say the waitlist works it does not then when you want to cancel they want to charge you $1 million just to do so please don't waste your money here unless you're over the age of 47 and have nothing else to do. I have been attending Club Pilates Princeton as my New Years Goal, which was a gift of health to myself for Christmas. I started a few days before the new year and have been trying to go at least 3 times a week. The first week of the new year I attended every other day. I was off to a nice start! I purchased the unlimited package for Princeton. I have dyslexia and I find that some of the instructors are more understanding and guide the classes at an easier to understand pace for me. I will try and book my future classes with them! Robyn great, in my opinion she cares for everyone in the class to make sure everyones on the same page, so she's also great for new comers and people who would like a little more attention. I also liked Fania A LOT, her upbeat and fun attitude is wonderful and a fun class to attend. I also like Terri. Adrienne is also good, she's a bit of a challenge which is good for those harder classes! I for sure can see myself getting to the 100 class goal at the Princeton studio! Plus its right next to Starbucks and B&N. read more

Club Pilates in Princeton is an amazing workout. The workout strengthens and conditions every part of my body and i love the energized feeling i get after each class. The instructors are all excellent and ii look forward to every class.. I have also met the most wonderful people in my classes. I love the Pilates experience! It has given me more confidence and a new and improved healthy and toned body! Needless to say, i am an extremely happy member. read more

Warning! Waning! Warning! These studios will charge your card without authorization. Do NOT sign up for memberships. I was a "passport" member for only one month. Club Pilates constantly sent me threatening messages saying i owed $90 with no explanation and that a third collections agency will be contacting me. Then they stopped my account from being able to book classes. So an entire month ($300 per month for passport membership) i could not go to classes. I tried calling each location to fix this and no one answered the phone. I eventually decided to cancel my membership due to the headache of it all. Club Pilates then decided to charge me 3 more times of $20 after i sent a email to cancel. These charges were unauthorized and i have disputed them with my bank. When i spoke to the studio about these charges, they said they could not help me and there is no way i can get a refund. The three locations doing this to me are East Brunswick, Marlboro, and Princeton. Added: Business Owner, These fees were NOT my late fees as i did call the corporate billing number and paid the only $20 i owed. I even have a receipt saying i paid the $20 and my account was in balance. Then i was told the $90 was a mistake and would be waved. The same day i called your location and told the associate to cancel my account. Offering to credit me torwards next month is obviously not an option for me. This has been the biggest waste of money, taking up hours of my time and has been extremely stressful. I have been trying to resolve this for the entire month of april and completely wasted $300 as i was not able to book classes. Stop trying to contact me. I want to be done with this and just wanted to warn others. read more

Let me recap the past few months with Club Pilates. I had been a member for months, and I had gone to over 50+ classes. I started at the 1.0 level and worked hard to reach a 1.5. I was also interested in pursuing the teaching program. I asked an instructor about the teaching program, and I was dissuaded by this instructor after being asked if I had a full-time job. They told me it wouldn't be worth my time to pursue the certification if it wasn't for full-time work, despite it being a personal achievement I would have liked. This started the negative experiences with Club Pilates. I was then on the waitlist for a 1.5-level class I had taken multiple times before. I was placed into the course despite not feeling well, and I attended to do my best. The instructor then noted that despite being a 1.5 class, most of the people there were a 2.0 and that we would perform 2.0 moves. There were few 'modifications' given (using 'modifications' sparingly here as it was what the class was intended to be), and I received minimal corrections in the class. However, at the end of the course, the teacher pulled me aside and told me that I should be in a 1.0 for her class because the 1.5 was more of a 2.0, as the others in the class were "much stronger" than I was. I felt humiliated and embarrassed as this was in front of everyone else in the class. I had been told I was doing well in 1.5s, not to mention that the instructor did not correct me, upped the class level without prior mention, and never asked how I was or why I was possibly underperforming. After that experience, a student in the class came up to my car and told me she had similar experiences with this instructor and left crying and feeling humiliated. I asked another instructor if I could not perform 1.5 movements, and they said I had done just fine, but this instructor tended to level up the movements. When I called the studio to cancel my membership and explained how these situations contributed to my leaving, along with the fact that this instructor taught the majority of the classes after 5PM for working hours, the front desk staff told me that this was just how this instructor was, and most people liked that. I did not feel supported, especially for the price I had paid and the time spent in the studio. Not to mention that, months later, I am still being sent emails about a past due payment, although I had already paid my last month upon cancellation and received an email confirming it. I had to block the merchant from my credit card to avoid constant charges, but at least I don't feel horrible while working out! And, of course, some instructors made slightly triggering remarks during class, making statements about "earning" food by holding planks, coming to class, or working harder to "make up" for Thanksgiving/holiday meals. While these may have the intent of being funny, they are genuinely harmful and concerning to be made by professionals and made me feel uncomfortable about how I presented in class. read more

Zero stars! Buyer beware. I signed up for a pre-sale membership to Club Pilates in Princeton in July. They were supposed to open in October. As of now, they claim to possibly open in mid December. My financial situation has changed dramatically and my contract clearly stated I can cancel at any time if the establishment was not open yet. I have been trying to cancel and they will not refund my money. They have had my money since July. I plan on taking them to small claims court. Horrible business ethic!!!! i loved club pilates and was one of the first memebers to the princeton studio , i started when no in person studio yet excisted ! when i contacted them to put a hold on my acct due to job changes ,being a healthcare worker with many changes over the time of the pandemic , i was still a member and returned as well as recommended other friends to join ,to my disappointment ,i contacted the pilates studio voiceing my need to stop memebership till my work schedule was a bit more organized , i originally called early june ,then they called me reconsider ,after reconsidering i decided to stop for the summer due to work changes !!! the owner karen on my tc when i told her to honor my tc in the early june call to stop my membership , and they recalled me to reconsider ,after several days ,i rethought and realized it wasnt realistic since i am an infusion nurse working all over nyc . she told me to pay another month of 229 ,i said no i already informed you of my desire to stop ,she said then you are canceled as of today ,and cancelled all of my prescheduled classes , 3 wks early in which i already paid 229$ for . sorry to vent but i am so displeased with her as owner that i woulkd never go back to any studio she ownes ,thank you !!! read more
