This lifetime has the best Pilates studio in all of the USA. The 4th floor has inspiring views that I cannot find anywhere else. I have traveled far and wide and I still cannot find a more beautiful Pilates studio than this one. It's super clean the instructors are knowledgeable and the best part they require socks. THANK GOD! It is my pet peeve going to studios that don't make people wear socks. Like I DO NOT want to put my hands where someone's raw feet have been. This studio is super convenient since it's attached to the mall. I love meeting the people here they are super nice. I met an actress that gave me glute tips omggg and she changed my whole life. Lots of business owners come here and I get invited to some crazy plans which I always say yes to lol because YOLO right. Im coming back for a second review because I love this location so much. It's always very clean. They have a great assortment of machines and they're all decently new. The cardio floor has a ton of different machines to utilize. I like how there's a view from the floor as well. Maurice at the front desk is always very welcoming and helpful. The entire staff is friendly. I almost always get the almond butter smoothie when I'm done working out before I leave. This thing just hits the spot and you can add an espresso shot to really get your day going. They have everything you need in a gym. Always the go to when I'm in Scottsdale! Cheers! read more

I was able to visit this location right at Fashion Square today. Close to shopping, restaurants, and lots of covered parking. This gym is quite bright and you can feel how fresh and new it is. There were not many people at the gym while I was there mid afternoon. The locker rooms were really clean and stocked with convenient things like mouthwash and makeup wipes and plenty of towels too. The barre room is on the main floor and then the other workout areas are on floors two and three. The third floor also has an outdoor pool area. Both sides of the building have lots of windows so while I was on the treadmill I was able to enjoy beautiful views. It made my workout go quickly! read more

To be honest it's hit or miss with the concierge representation especially at Biltmore but Justin at FS is TOP notch. Incredible customer service, kind, and professional all at once. I had a horrible experience with a trainer here. Quentin Tesi. I was so excited to start my training, he led me on to believe he would do everything to help me achieve my goals. I changed my schedule and made several financial decisions in order to commit to this only to later on find out that he no longer wanted me as a client. He gave no valid reason, didn't give me an opportunity to talk about what went wrong. Later I quite shockingly received unsolicited pictures & videos. I had heard of trainers trying to hit up their clients but I didn't think it could happen at a place like this. I recommend something be done so no one else has to go through this. read more

Unacceptable. Effective today men are now being allowed into women's locker room. The Biltmore location has now taken a problem that was isolated to the men's locker room and spread it into the women's space too. Now the consistently broken down steam and sauna in the men's locker room is a women's problem too. Because now women will have to share their space with all the men in the club. This is not a solution. It has instead spread the scope of the problem to each and every person of the club. Women are who pay the price. Hottest Gym in Scottsdale! South Scottsdale/Fashion Square desperately needed a luxury gym, and the new Life Time Fashion Square answered the call! Four stories with state-of-the-art equipment, a rooftop pool, an oversized parking garage nearby, and luxurious spa/locker rooms. The first floor is a check-in and Life Cafe with a lounge area for taking a phone call or catching up with friends and a Barre studio for classes. Locker rooms are also on the first floor and have everything you need--private shower stalls, toiletries, hot tub, cold plunge, steam, and dry sauna. The second floor has a studio for cycle classes, and a free weight area with dumbbells, barbells, benches, power racks, and press stations. There's also a stretch and mobility area with a few functional fitness stations & cardio equipment. The third floor/rooftop is the cardiovascular level with stair masters, treadmills, and ellipticals. The rooftop pool is located outside with sweeping views of Camelback Mountain and has plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas to hang out and catch some sun. I am confused as to why Lifetime Fitness is one of the most expensive gyms in Arizona and yet they keep reducing their services. I am traveling and went to the Lifetime in N Scottsdale to get in a swim. For some reason they now close their outdoor access at 8pm. In a place that temperatures reach nearly 120 degrees why would you close your outdoor pool so early? I am getting frustrated that Lifetime corporate does not control their managers decisions on things like this. read more

Having one on each floor is a great idea. I would have extended even more weight equipment into the front area of the 2nd floor. The weight area seems more populated than the front area. Very expensive for what you get. The basketball courts are almost never available and if you work any kind of normal hours you will have a hard time even finding an open locker. I have been a member for a long time but I think I'm looking for a new gym now I just can't justify 160 dollar a month when I get frustrated almost everytime I work out because it's so packed. I will say the north Peoria location is much better but it's 15 miles away from me. If you are in that area I would say check that one out but stear clear of North Scottsdale. read more

I absolutely love and am incredibly grateful for Lifetime Fitness Scottsdale Fashion Square. For an elevated fitness experience in the Valley, this is the place to be. The entire team is exceptional, from GM Mike Esposito to the entire personal training crew (including lead Luis and trainers Shanna and Jen, who inspire me and add so much to my everyday), to the member concierge led by Katie, group fitness lead by Dawn and cafe led by Scott. They always welcome me warmly (by name), create a community atmosphere, and demonstrate time and time again that they genuinely care not just about my experience, but also about me as a person. It's so much more than just a gym. The club itself is stunning and has a wide array of top-notch equipment, including cool recovery tools like Power Plate and Hyperice. The yoga room with floor-to-ceiling glass is a dreamy spot for a yoga practice with breathtaking mountain views and abundant natural light. I very much appreciate the variety of group classes offered--my favorites so far are GTX with Shanna, Spin with Celeste, Barre with Tracy N and Tracy P, Surrender Yoga with Sarah and Patrick, and Root Yoga with Hirono. The Pilates studio is also impressive. The locker room is well-appointed and connects to a unisex wet room equipped with a Jacuzzi, cold plunge, sauna, and steam room. These amenities are perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating after a workout. Additionally, the club has a spa offering massages and facials, which I am excited to indulge in. The rooftop beach club with an Olympic-size pool is a true gem, brimming with chaise lounges and cabanas, all against the picturesque backdrop of Camelback Mountain. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind while sipping a smoothie or indulging in a soon-to-be-offered wine or cocktail from the pool bar. The café serves fantastic smoothies and offers a variety of menu items and grab-and-go food options. It also stocks a variety of supplements, bars and snacks, which is all very convenient. The facilities are always impeccably maintained, which is a major plus. The manager is an asshole I've never communicated with someone so rude in my life. Their are no stairs to go down from the third floor so people are packed waiting after a yoga class to get down by elevator, only two available. Its full of single botox scottsdale moms and meat head 50yr old men. The sign on fee is a rip off. Save your money and join biltmores location. Also no mirrors in the yoga room either and it overlooks the roof parking garage of the mall. Also no parking because the mall is packed at all times unless you go at 5am. The size of the sauna is a sardine tin and theres no flat irons in the womens locker room. They give u $25 gift card for joining and u can only use it in the spa NOT the cafe and no service in the spa is below $26 read more

I absolutely love Life Time and the endless amenities provided!! I have come in to workout at what I thought would be busy hours and I've never once had an issue getting on a machine. The Scottsdale Old Town location is much more that a gym. Think athletic country club with four seasons professionalism here. It's really multiple gyms in one. The staff makes the difference. From Mike the GM to Travis and Brett at the front desk and Joe the equipment engineer. They really take the time to learn your name. This is the only gym I have ever been in that is kept so clean it rivals ongoing maid service. I have never written Yelp review before but just cannot say enough. 10 Stars read more

Lifetime Fitness at Scottsdale Fashion Square opened March 3rd, 2023. It is located at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall in the NW corner, off Goldwater Blvd. near Dillards Dept. Store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility has state of the art workout equipment. They have many classes to meet your fitness needs. The 3rd floor cardio area overlooks Camelback Mountain and the lap pool. The spa includes a sauna, steam room, and a cold dip with the water temperature around 50-54 degrees, which is very therapeutic and refreshing. The staff continually cleans the equipment, and it is very enjoyable to workout there. If you were to describe the experience I would call it a luxury country club experience. There's a lot to say about LifeTime and the company, but I'd rather let the gym sell itself....alongside its incomparable staff, equipment and amenities. First things first; you are getting exactly what you pay for. There's definitely a sense of sticker-shock when going to join this gym, but you can view it one of two ways; you're paying for an investment in your own health and/or you're paying for the ability to workout in an atmosphere that is is priced at the appropriate point where you are not battling people for equipment, even at peak-hours! When you truly think about it, if everyone had access to something, would it make said-item or service exclusive or customary? This club prides itself on exclusivity, but not in a pretentious way, but rather a "we see you, we hear you and we think we have found a way to solve some of the issues you've faced at other gyms." Now that we've discussed the price, let's simply talk about the people; these are some of the most knowledgeable, attentive trainers, employees, receptionists and management that you will find. It's weird to think about it as such, mainly because this is a gym after all, but when you constantly see the same staff on a daily basis, it's nice to revere them as friends. Trainers are there to HELP, and they are also there to leave you alone if you don't wish to be bothered. You don't feel the pressure or awkwardness of trainers approaching you at other gyms....you know, the gyms that try to sell you on things you don't actually want or need. We've had the pleasure of knowing the GM at this club, Mike Esposito, for roughly six years now, and having watched his career grow with the company, I can assure you that any and all questions, concerns and compliments will be handled in a timely and beyond-satisfactory manner. Mike comes from the personal-training world, and you can really tell that as he was staffing, designing the aesthetic of the club and cultivating the culture of the club, he really took the time to make sure everyone felt seen and heard. From the cleaning staff to the engineers that keep the building literally functioning, all the way to the café staff and locker room attendants, you feel the thought and care that went into staffing this gorgeous gym. Truly and genuinely some of the most respectful employees you will ever meet in a gym. This is a gym where you will not feel uncomfortable working out. This is a gym where you will be happy you chose to invest in yourself. This is a gym where you will actually find working out fun again! There are plenty of LifeTime's to choose in the valley, let alone gyms, but if you are willing to make the investment in yourself and a gym membership, this gym is highly recommended! So far I have only visited this location once and it is far superior to the Biltmore club and not materially more expensive. They have more of the popular equipment like squat racks and stair machines even though the space is smaller. It's not crowded but my understanding is that might change. I heard they capped membership and it's waitlist only now, but they will soon be opening up another 1000 membership slots. Of course all of the equipment is new and top of the line. Staff seems friendly and is currently making a point of smiling at members. I didn't get a greeting from the front desk upon check in but the employee was on the phone. When I left none of the four staff members at the front said a word either. That's ok. I don't care much about being greeted if the gym continues to be not overly busy. The general manager at this club is a nice man and I'm sure he will keep things going in the right direction. read more
