The staff are very friendly. Pauline has the exceptional customer service by explaining to each customer politely and nicely who are anxious and irritable while waiting for their time. The female technician draw blood and I did not feel the pain. Lots of parking. It's first come first serve basis. Everyday is busy and if u want to avoid long line up. Come early at 7am.of

Was told that my doctor had not given me the correct paperwork. Had to call my doctor's office, only to find out that the paperwork I submitted was accurate (AFTER the lady on the desk checked with her colleagues). WTF. 2. I asked if I had to pay for the test. She said "no", then asked a colleague who said "yes". Okaaaaay. 3. I handed her my card, assumed she was swiping it (couldn't see beneath the counter top), she handed me back my card and said I needed to pay. WHAT. I thought I just did. No, that's done by someone else. 4. Constant, incessant interruptions by her colleagues left me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, I had enough and suggested she focus on completing my transaction to which I received a mouthful and to which I responded accordingly. They need to train their front-line staff AND they need an additional person on the front desk. All I wanted to do was hand in a specimen and it took waaaaaay longer than it should have with a lot of aggro. Go to another Dynacare if you can. This place is atypical of Dynacare's usual high standards.

However - EVERY time I have gone to Dynacare and had my blood taken by Cristina, the Lab Technician, whatever magic or needle sorcery she does - it's painless and over in seconds. And she has consistently taken it quickly and painlessly over the couple years I have gone, is always calm and pleasant, and puts me at ease telling me stories or jokes. It's inside the Shoppers Drug Mart therefore not as big as other locations, since I'm not familiar with its setting, I hesitated a bit when I get there, but the front reception kept asking me to wait that it won't be long ... However, the nurse who took my blood test poked into my vein so painfully, that my arm got bruised even after a few days later. Don't know what went wrong, I thought Dynacare is a big company and their staff should be well-trained and proficient, very disappointed with the service provided

There's seating for about 20 people. The TV monitor on the wall displays the wait times before you're seen by a lab technician. Staff were polite and efficient. I was in/out in 30 minutes.

I've been here twice now and both times they were overbooked. They get folks through fairly quickly…read moreand efficiently but their scheduling results in the clients waiting outside on the street. First time the wait was annoying but a little more tolerable due to warm weather. Second visit, just like the first, I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed. After 25 min waiting outside I finally got in out of the cold and was able to sit down. I'm a left leg amputee and standing for long periods is harder for me than most. There are no chairs or anything to sit on outside their office. Most disappointing is that the staff couldn't have cared less. I'm not looking for 5 star concierge service at a blood lab but I would have thought someone would have been concerned about the issue I raised. I just got silence and a too bad so sad look. It's conveniently located but for me that's all it has going for it. And be prepared that they will be well behind in their schedule.

The final step of the process is to go from the offices of ATCC Doctors at 4002 Sheppard Ave E to this lab located at 2330 Kennedy Rd across the street on the north west corner of the same intersection. Room 209 for LifeLabs was CLOSED at noon on New Years Eve so we're back today on 4-Jan-2021 only to find out that an appointment is required; next available time-slot is six hours from now. Ugh!!!! Back in six hours.... The wait and the blood & urine procedure for HIV along with Syphilis testing took 10 minutes. Fee: $34. Results were electronically transmitted to the ATTC case Physician. Overall, this part of the process was disjointed from the previous testing steps and should have been explained by ATTC Doctors. Yes, it's not totally the fault of LifeLabs. Staff at this lab are efficient, but notably rude; from the check-in person to the 2 other technicians. I would give LifeLabs 2 stars. They lose 1 star because they get daily referrals from ATTC Doctors and this lapse in a more streamlined customercentric process should not go unpublished.

Do these clowns realize that posting a notice on a door isn't going to notify me? Couldn't they at least have called? In the last few months (unfortunately) I've had to to several tests and can say I've got to know the staff more than the average Joe. They take care of you here, not the "in-your-face" kind of help you get from a salesperson at you clothing store. But they try to make the needle process as painless as possible. And this is what makes me happy here, they're not rushing. I've found out the best time to go is 4-5pm as most people try to go early in the morning as some tests require fasting.

You can do everything in this one building. For example, you can get your blood tested here right away or if you need an x-ray or ultrasound. There's all sorts of practice here, such as psychologists, dentists, etc. I also like how there's a pharmacy on the ground floor. Its so convenient! They're usually pretty efficient so you don't spend a long time waiting for your prescriptions - which is great, especially when you're sick. Call me old, but I do hope everything stays the same here - even that one sllloowwww elevator.
