The staff nevertheless are are very good and pleasant My issue is that I learned through my daughter that my lab results were sent to her fertility clinic aswell as my appropriate doctors for the second time in 2 years I reported this serious breach of trust the first time last year which resulted in no investigation or report of findings. I was in poor health and was unable to followup. Just recently, my three physicians received the results (which was confirmed) with my inquiry based on the requisitions. However, my daughter's fertility clinic also received my lab results. It is serious problem that MY results with personal information were mishandled and carelessly shared to a clinic based on my and my daughter's last name? Fortunately, the clinic brought this to my daughter's attention. I contacted LifeLabs again. Two times I was told the onis was on me to find out how this clinic received my results. This is not possible because I am not a patient there and they cannot devulge this information. After the first complaint the promised escalation and enquiry never happened and was blown off after the second attempt to get this looked into. It is infuriating that this happened, but the refusal to look into this by LiveLabs demonstrates a lack of interest in investigating and resolving how patients records are handled. How often does this situation occur and patients are unaware of the mishandling of private personal medical information? Mistakes happen, but the refusal on the part of LifeLabs to investigate and address this issue is egregious and irresponsible. A lawsuit is waiting to happen!

Upon arrival you are immediately greeted and asked for your referral document. It was only a short wait and I was asked to move to a second waiting area. It reminded me of a change room in a department store. Small rooms but everything was medical white. The woman directing me around was very friendly, polite, professional, and presented herself well. She told me which rooms to go to and everything was completely easy. Both technicians were friendly and thorough. This clinic is efficient and everything was done in no time! I was informed that I was negative for the mutation and that my risk of illness was low. I then got sick and later did another test through an actual medical institution. I was positive for the mutation. The report was manufactured and fraudulent and could have lead to my death or certainly very serious illness if I had not retested elsewhere. DO NOT RELY ON THE TEST RESULTS OF ANY TESTS YOU HAVE DONE THROUGH THIS COMPANY. This is worse than fraud, it is irresponsible and dangerous.

Was told that my doctor had not given me the correct paperwork. Had to call my doctor's office, only to find out that the paperwork I submitted was accurate (AFTER the lady on the desk checked with her colleagues). WTF. 2. I asked if I had to pay for the test. She said "no", then asked a colleague who said "yes". Okaaaaay. 3. I handed her my card, assumed she was swiping it (couldn't see beneath the counter top), she handed me back my card and said I needed to pay. WHAT. I thought I just did. No, that's done by someone else. 4. Constant, incessant interruptions by her colleagues left me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, I had enough and suggested she focus on completing my transaction to which I received a mouthful and to which I responded accordingly. They need to train their front-line staff AND they need an additional person on the front desk. All I wanted to do was hand in a specimen and it took waaaaaay longer than it should have with a lot of aggro. Go to another Dynacare if you can. The facilities were clean and welcoming.. they have a lovely bathroom! The technician made me feel very comfortable in the space and gave me straightforward directions. My doctor had written down confusing directions for which kind of ultrasound I needed and the tech managed to fit two different kinds into my appointment last minute. Will definitely go back if I ever need an ultrasound or X-ray again!
