May 29, 2014 I call Life Line for a quote on a cracked screen for my galaxy S2. I spoke with George who told me that they can do it for 69.99 and that they did have the part in stock. He informed me that he will save the part for me and it was ok to come Saturday May 31st. He took my information and asked how did I hear of the company and I informed him online. Saturday I went up to the store thinking I was going to have my phone fixed within the hour. I spoke to Jill and she informed me that they do not have that part available. I informed her that I spoke to George and that he had put it to the side. Apparently that was not the case; they had just used the last part left on another phone the previous day. It would have been nice to get a phone call so I could have saved my gas. George informed me that he is ordering the part as we speak and they should receive it by Tuesday June 3rd. I called Tuesday and George informed me that the part has not came in yet but he will let me know when it comes in, he assumed it will be in by Friday June 6th. I finally received a call Monday June 9th from someone other than George stating that the part was in. I went back to the location on Tuesday June 10th and was greeted again by Jill and George. I informed them that someone call to let me know my part was in and I can wait to get it fix. They both did not know what I was talking about; Jill went in to the back to find the part only to discover it was not the $69.99 part I was quote but a $159.99 part. Out of frustration I told them to fix the phone and the best he could do is a 10% discount. All the b.s. I was told and the waiting time I wasted on them, I should have gotten this phone fixed at the price I was quoted. This is the worst business transaction I have ever received in my life. I would never ever recommend this company to my worst enemy. The communication amongst this group of people is horrible and the promise George was making was just lies. 06/13/2014 update It is nice to know that there are some people that value customer service over money. Since my last post, I have spoken with the manager and he apologized for the inconvenience that I was going through. He fixed the issues and made everything so much better. I called another place before I called LifeLine and was told do not waste your time coming here you need to buy a new phone. So I was nothing short of shocked when Tristan at LifeLine told me let me look at your phone before you buy a new one, we may be able to save it. Honestly I had already resigned myself to buying another phone but the fact I had someone stating over and over there is a chance gave me a shimmer of hope. I told Tristan I do not expect that he will make miracles but hopefully I can get my pictures off of my card. Approximately 15 minutes later, he said your phone is fixed! I will recommend LifeLine to all of my friends not because Tristan fixed my phone but because he provided hope no one else had. Oh, I forgot to mention I accidently submerged my phone in water. As soon as I did the screen went black. So thanks LifeLine for coming to the rescue when one of your competitors said there is absolutely nothing we can do! read more

I don't normally review businesses, but I had to add to this 5 star rating. I am usually hesitant to believe on-line reviews, but this shop stood out. I went to LifeLine Repairs this morning after my iPhone screen shattered last night. I had recently had the battery replace elsewhere and didn't want to buy a new phone as this one was fine. Following my battery replacement, I had noticed some screen distortion on the bottom corner. After discussing the repair to the screen with Daniel, I mentioned the distortion and he not only fixed the screen but fixed the distortion (turned out to be too much tape on the new battery - simple fix but shows he goes above and beyond what I asked for). The entire process took about 20 minutes. Daniel was great and I will definitely recommend him and this store to anyone who asks, as well as return for any (hopefully few) phone repairs in the future. Thanks Daniel! read more

The LifeLine team is a God send! When John replaced my broken tablet screen, I saw they also repair computers. So when my mother board was fried, John replaced it. Since the replacement part was defective, they more than honored their 120 day warranty on repairs. Reid actually found a new computer online and replaced it. This company deserves a great THANK you for the repair of my Samsung3. I had to get a loaner phone for about a month and half and had looked all over for a place to repair the screen. I really thought the phone was damaged beyond repair because of both the glass cover and LED screen being destroyed from a fall but I found the right place. Tristan, the manager, is great to work with and he diagnosed the issue on my phone immediately. I dropped it off at lunch hour and within that short time he had the phone repaired and ready for pick - up. They are by far the most cost effective electronics/mobile phone repair place I have found in Jacksonville. I will recommend all my friends to them. read more

After searching high and low for someone to repair my Sony Experia Z1 I found Lifeline. The staff was helpful and courteous. My phone is a short production model with hard to find parts so was more expensive than most but they were able to repair it so the extra cost was much less than a new phone. After about 8 months the screen started to loosen and I returned and I brought it back not sure if it was still in warranty. It was not but they reattached it for nothing and seemed happy to be of service. I grabbed several business carts from the counter with the intention of telling friends about their services. Skip the others - Lifeline service, results and pricing are awesome. My daughter's smartphone screen cracked while she was visiting us. Four other repair shops couldn't deal with the turnaround I needed because of parts unavailability. Reed at LifeLine's Jacksonville store was far more customer focused than the others and made a quick repair happen. He overnighted the parts needed and repaired the phone in one quick 30 minute visit the next day. Less than 24 hours from 1st call to a working phone. Great guys! My Galaxy tablet would not come on and I found them open on a Sunday afternoon. I took the tablet to them and dropped it off and they called within 2 hours to tell me the tablet was alright and I just needed to go buy a new wall charger adapter. When I picked the tablet up, they did not even charge a fee to diagnose the problem! I will be back if I need repairs in the future. read more
