AVOID! I originally wanted IGLA & an alarm system installed…read moreonto my truck but this company doesn't install IGLA only Viper. I cancelled an appointment with them and drove 4 hours away to have IGLA installed and Compustar instead. I mainly wanted IGLA due to its features. Fast forward, I needed a rear dash camera (purchased off amazon; Neideso 360 dash camera set) installed into my camper shell and this company refused stating that "I had to go back to the people that installed my security system to have them install a rear dash camera". That is a lie. He was upset that I didn't use his company to install my after factory security system. This behavior shows a lack of emotional intelligence and poor customer service. People have after factory devices installed by different companies all the time. The front dash camera was installed by me inside my truck but due to having a camper shell I wanted the rear camera placed into the campershell.

Not much to say about Kartunes except they deliver on their promises. I visited Tim and Karen a few…read moretimes and we decided on what we were going to do. It was a more than average stereo install in my opinion. I was first told 4 days to install and tune. He beat that by a day. Showed up to see progress and he was nearly done so I got my vehicle a day early. The shop and showroom are well stocked and very clean. Tim is a wealth of knowledge in the car stereo industry. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to upgrade their existing stereo system.

Absolutely terrible service. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE FO YOUR INTERLOCK DEVICE!!! I know having an…read moreinterlock device is punishment for breaking the law and I am absolutely fine with that. But at this point I'm actually paying for the amount of mistakes that LifeSafer has made and not corrected with me. Let's go through everything. First. I had to go in 3 separate times at 2 different locations to try and get the interlock device installed into my car! The first technician that tried to install the device didn't even try to problem solve during the installation. He just looked at it for 3 minutes and said come back next week and I should know how to do it. The next week, the guy didn't even bother looking at my car told me to go to a different location with a more experience technician..... Second. Upon installation (my 3rd try), they're suppose to give you an official hard copy of a dmv document stating that you have an interlock device installed in your car so that you can bring it to the dmv to register for your license back. They did not give it to me. I had to find out by waiting 2 hours at the dmv to be told that I had to go back to LifeSafer to get that document..... I go back to LifeSafer in Milpitas to get the document. The technician hands me the document and the first thing I notice was that my name was spelled wrong so I told the guy to reprint me one. He does, and I assume that everything's good, I can go back to the dmv and finally get my license. No... I go back to the dmv and wait for another 2 hours just to be told that LifeSafer had spelled my address wrong!!!! How can one company get so many things wrong in the short span of me offering my business to them!!! Third. I call LifeSafer to talk to their supervisor about this situation and all the guy tells me is that it's my fault. I should be the one catching all the mistakes that LifeSafer makes. At first, the supervisor didn't even offer to fix the situation. Are yo serious?! When I started to get extremely frustrated was when he broke in and said okay ok next day mail the dmv document to your house. That still doesn't help the fact that I have to go to the dmv for a 3rd time for the same reason and spend a total of 6 hours at the dmv not including the 3 times I had to go in to try and get my interlock device installed. Lastly, I know...there's more. Once you get your device installed, you have to go in monthly or every 2 months (depending on how often you want to pay your fee) to get your device serviced. I had my appointment scheduled on a Saturday and when I arrive for my service, the technician said the system was down and he couldn't do anything. (If your system was down, you should call your customers to not come in instead of wasting our time to drive to the service center just to be told no.) Then the technician tells me to come in on Monday at noon. So I have to take extra time off work to go there at noon on Monday. When I get there, no one is even at the service the service station!! When I call the service representatives, they say they'll solve the issue and call back but they never do. You have to be the one to call them! This review is already super long, but it gets worse. I'll just stop here because I'm tired of writing all the mistakes that this company has made. Absolutely terrible service!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!

This is my first time posting anything…read more Interstate Interlock. The rudest, most inept, condescending, vapid human beings you'll deal with (at HQ) and the guy that installs the units in Milpitas is a THUG. I had this device in my car for THREE years and although I take full responsibility for my actions and why a judge ordered it there (I 100% deserved it), did SEVENTY DAYS of community service, paid my $75 per month to rent this thing I still was treated with absolutely no respect whatsoever after THEY made some incredible errors that cost me full days off of work towards the end. This woman at HQ named Jennifer refused to admit that they had sent me to Milpitas from SF mid-week days early by mistake and instead, with the most condescending, vapid, horrid tone imaginable advised me that I should begin to take responsibility for my actions. She also advised me "not to go home and get drunk over this". First of all, by speaking with this completely horrid human being after being a client for THREE years is, in itself is the very personification of "taking responsibility for my actions". Do you think you need to be abused, belittled and yelled at by the people you pay for their services? There is a lot more to this story but I digress. Suffice to say these people are completely miserable, overcharge you, fee you like mad at the end $50 to remove it (it takes no more than 2 minutes after you've paid $75 a month for years. I beg you to find an alternative for these people. If you do for some reason need to get one of these devices please do it ANYWHERE else. Unfortunately, I will never, ever forget this Jennifer woman (Satan) that works there and the incredibly ruthless, horrible things she said. I am certain that the ol "don't go home and get drunk over this" is something she says to many of her frustrated customers. It's a real gem Jennifer, think before you belittle people that have paid so very dearly with time, fortunes and tears.
