I understand the glass needed to be cool. He went to work immediately. Not sure how long. it took. Maybe a half hour. Then asked me to look at the repair to insure it was satisfactory. I couldn't find the chip. He showed me the place where it had been. There was virtually no trace of the chip! The cost was a fraction of replacement, but the result was equal to replacement. Then today the rear window on my Lexus shattered. I called Andy this morning, he said he can try and get me a new window by the next day. But he was going to make some calls.
