My dad passed away in November 2020 unexpectedly. This was extremely difficult on my mom and I. I had researched Lifesong previously and they were very helpful in getting things done, especially in the midst of COVID. They are now in both my mom and my funeral plans as well. One note: while they said they contacted the SSN department and that is how we received the death certificate, the SSN department told my mom they were never notified. Due to this there was some issues returning a social security payment. So I suggest, even though the funeral home notifies them of the death (for the certificate) if the deceased is actively getting SSN payments, go ahead and call Social Security anyway to ensure they put a stop on them until you can provide the death certificate. read more

I called the insurance underwriters and they sent a form to fill out and to update all aspects of my pre-need information. I made prior arrangements to meet with Sara, one of the Lifesong owners. The physical business establishment itself is small but clean, modern and well appointed. Sarah stepped me through the insurance form and helped fill it out with all the information required. She explained all aspects of their services I would be receiving. I felt very comfortable during the process and now have all my affairs in order. I'm relieved that such an important part of my life has been thought out and ready to be implemented in an organized and thoughtful manner (zero pressure on family after my passing).
