A woman who seemed to be in charge told me no, that "the male is very, very good, you like him." Why ask my preference if you arent going to give the choice? They close the door for me to prepare for the massage and lay on the table, which I did. Then the door was obviously locked because the male was shaking the door handle as if he was trying to pull it off the door and yelling "it's locked". Obviously. So I had to get up and get dressed while he's still pulling on the door handle, yelling. I was no longer relaxed and was totally annoyed by the whole situation. The same woman who didn't give me my choice, followed me to the door as I told her I wasn't getting the massage. She said "I'll give you a female I'll give you a female" She then only spoke Korean to all of the other employees standing around, I anssume explaining what had happened. She said she'd give me a free 30 min massage and handed me 2 packs of hand moisturizer, which I didn't take. It was so unprofessional and creepy, I will definitely never go back.

As it turned out, I am either not fat enough or too tall to qualify for the program that I wanted. But since I'm not entirely sure of my height, we scheduled another appointment two weeks away, during which Simona would measure me. I decided that I would start using heavy weights again to build muscle, since a foot fracture derailed my workouts and caused weight gain. However...I then decided that I probably am too tall and still might not qualify. And I likely couldn't gain significantly more muscle in two weeks. So I went on Groupon to get a refund. To my COMPLETE surprise, my Groupon had been redeemed without my knowledge or consent. I called, and it was explained to me that they always redeem the Groupons upon arrival, in order to prevent people from getting the service and then claiming a refund. While I understand that concern, it's a terrible business practice to do that BEFORE determining eligibility. I probably did look fat enough, as I was wearing a baggy sweatshirt over leggings. I was not told that they had redeemed my Groupon, probably because I had scheduled a new appointment. I told them that, commonly, providers ask me to pull up the voucher AFTER the service, or, if it's a facial treatment, sometimes when I arrive. And then *I* mark it as used in front of them. This action cannot be undone, so the provider is protected. I think this is a MUCH better practice, especially when there are eligibility requirements. As a side note, I am appalled to learn that people try to scam providers. Ugh. Shameful. Simona promptly sent the email confirming my ineligibility, which Groupon requires for a refund, and for that I'm grateful. I gave five stars because although I was initially very disappointed, then furious, the situation was handled as well as possible. I'm going to look at some of their other services, since I likely won't qualify for the one that I purchased.

I work with Simona who I believe is the manager? GM? Regardless, she is super freaking nice. The space is very cozy with tons of creamy plush couches, plants and they always offer tea and water. I haven't tried any of their other treatments (I have another med spa I like that is closer to home and doesnt offer semaglutide) but they seem to offer tons -- dermaplanes, facials, IV vitamin boosts, etc.. With just one session, I already saw immediate results. Let's start with my skin condition. My problems include acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, sun freckles, and those darn red cheeks that won't go away. What I love is that Patty takes the time to listen about your concerns and plans out the next few steps to take to help you reach your goals. She is patient and friendly and knowledgeable. I think the owner could spend some money to make the interiors a lot nicer with the amount of money you pay. The shower was very dark and no shampoo or conditioner. Can't use the hot tub and the floors felt dirty. There was gravel underneath my feet from the hot tub. All in all can't complain but that's the down and dirty of it !
