The receptionist was very friendly and took care of my paperwork quickly. I sat in the waiting room for maybe 5 minutes before being escorted to my exam room. I had to wait in the waiting room longer than I would've liked, but I'd had a book so it wasn't all that bad. The doctor, Heather Collins, did apologize when she came in citing some acceptable reason for her tardiness. Dr. Collins was fantastic. She's bright and cheery and was great with answering all my questions and going over different scenarios. She promised to follow up with the results of my tests because, "No news isn't good news, you just don't know!" The office followed through with calling me upon getting my results from the lab. Will definitely make this my primary care provider. Up until now, I'd only ever gone to my pediatrician (from about 2 months old to the current ripe age of 24), which he is totally cool with and said I can go until he's retired, but something about having to sit in a waiting room with snotty, possibly swine flu infected kids is not at all appealing anymore.

Even my pharmasist told me they don't return refill requests in a timely manner. Doctors don't return calls but deliver messages through their rude and uncaring staff. I overlooked their bad behaviors quite a few times before saying enough. I suggest you keep looking. This doctors office will be closed no doubt with this type of patient care.

Still needed to follow same process. My past experience was to have therapists that insurance never covered. The psychiatrist seemed like a pill pusher. He didn't pay attention very well n put you on scripts he wanted to. The average appt. was 5 minutes(this was thru a Union Hospital practice in north east md. Dr Zazow does not take insurance so you have to claim out of network which takes longer for reimbursement at lower rates but well worth it. He talks to you, listens to you and makes recommendations to you. He doesn't try to force you on meds that have failed before. You can tell he cares and understands the possible additional cost you are paying. I'm in my 60's n sure wish I'd found him 20 years ago or so. I highly recommend at a 7 out of 5 stars. The lady that runs the office is also awesome. He is sure worth a shot even if it cost a bit more. A totally satisfied customer for the past 6+ months.
