Over the years, he has been there for me through some of my toughest moments, as well as some of my best. His care has extended far beyond what I believe most people would consider the ordinary responsibilities of a physician. Dr. Choi and all of his staff have made sure I was taken care of even after hours, remained involved through multiple hospitalizations, and consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that I received the care and attention I needed. What distinguishes Dr. Choi from most physicians however, is the way he advocates for his patients. There have been times when I was physically, emotionally, or otherwise unable to advocate for myself, and he stepped into that role without hesitation. I can't stress enough how pleased we are with Dr. Harouni's medical expertise,level-headed decision-making and genuine concern for our well being. During a scheduled visit I mentioned to Dr, Harouni that I'd noticed one arm was bigger than the other. She told me to make an appointment for a scan. I called Steinberg Diagnostics and got their soonest appointment, a week away.. I'm still incredulous that Dr. Harouni called me (not her staff) the day after my consult to make sure I had scheduled the scan. When she found out it was a week away, she made sure I was seen that very day. Her medical expertise and gut instinct probably saved my life. I had blood clots in both arms and neck. If that extra follow-up did not wow you sufficiently, here is another example. I am diabetic and significantly overweight. Ozempic and Mounjaro are both drugs used to manage diabetes. The added bonus is that they control appetite. Non diabetics are now using those meds to lose weight and consequently, demand exceeds supply. When I emailed Dr. Harouni and shared my plight, she immediately tasked her staff to call drugstores and drug reps to help me find my medication. In less than an hour I had a filled prescription waiting to be picked up. Her dedication and determination to take care of her patients is extraordinary. I've shared these personal examples because there is no way to have a reader, grasp her dedication. I had been with another concierge practice for the past 4 years. That practice, ran like clockwork and the doctor was competent but inaccessible. A friend, who is a retired physician suggested I meet his internist, Dr. Harouni. If you are looking for a doctor who is accessible (send her an email or call her directly), smart, approachable, caring and extraordinarily competent, than, your search is over. Firstly, I wanna start by saying the staff has not been rude by any means, but just extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I wanna make it very clear that I am only continuing to come to this office because of the incredible care that I've received from Dr. Noorda and only because of that. Otherwise, it has been extremely frustrating and an impeccable waste of my time... I Initially went in 11/26 to get blood drawn and provide samples that I was asked for for testing... When I arrived, there was a ton of confusion on what test were actually supposed to be performed on me so that was frustrating, and then after they finally figured everything out, and I was able to provide them with the correct paperwork, they took the samples they thought I needed it, and I proceeded to leave the office as normal... Literally less than three minutes later they called me back to back letting me know if I'm able to rush back in. They forgot to give me some test that we're on the list for me that day, which was already a red flag, but I decided that everyone makes mistakes and I went back in with no problem., Mind you I live over 25 minutes away, so this is not convenient travel wise for me by any means, but I will travel anywhere for good care. Fast-forward to today, December 4, I go in for my appointment to drop off the test that I was sent home with 11/26 to test me further, and when I went in to drop off the samples, everything appeared to be fine. I gave them to the phlebotomist, And I left... As per usual. Unbeknownst to me, I'm driving 25 minutes away to go back home and get back to work, I'm on a work call as I drive home and I noticed that Mountain View called me twice back to back... I asked where to do that, and apparently the registration was on an upright iPad near the front. Silly me for missing it. A lot of the people in the waiting room noticed how rude the interaction felt, and several people even commented to me about it afterward. I honestly tried to give grace because she may have been stressed or overwhelmed, and I know healthcare can be difficult. But the reason I'm writing this review is because of Dana, the blonde phlebotomist in the back. She was absolutely wonderful. I hadn't had much water that morning because of an earlier appointment, so finding a vein was a little difficult, but Dana stayed patient, calm, kind, and professional the entire time. She talked with me, joked around a little to help me relax, asked how my day was going, and truly made the whole experience better. Dana has such a beautiful soul and gave me one of the best experiences I've ever had getting blood drawn. Employees like her deserve recognition because they genuinely make a difference in people's days. So while the front experience may not have been ideal, Dana completely turned it around for me. Not only that, but she disguised it as if this was a service offered by my doctor's office (unrelated practice on the same floor). She TOLD me, that she would PULL MY PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION FROM MY CHART without ANY prior consent, in order to set up a consultation with her. Absolutely disgusted, because who KNOWS how many unsuspecting patients she's done this to already. Grateful she chose to give her sales pitch to the wrong one on the morning of 08/06/26. The LABCORP manager was informed and has NOT followed up with me, or offered any resolution or apology. From my understanding, the tech is still actively employed. The location was reported to the US Dept of Health & Human Services & OCR regarding violating HIPAA.
