My son is indigent and has severe emotional issues needs serious care and has been seen here twice and no one can help him they tell him to stop being so emotional and this last time did not give him another appt....Because he is loud and upset they said he was disturbing the people in the office he needs serious help it is a serious situation and all they tell him is to calm down his therapist can't even talk to him she just dits there and makes him more agitated by not listening or being helpful..You cannot reach her by phone she bid not given her messages and basically does not want to help him...He is in a crisis mode and people who are supposed to be your lifeline to help you just say you are being disruptive when he is trying to get his point across...He needs help desperately and no one ever gets back to us my and I have tried calling to no avail and have been told they only have one phone line and their walls are thin and he should calm down so as not to disturb the other clients ...What they fail to realize is he is loud because he is upset for not being able to get the help he so desperately needs...I should have looked at the one star review before going and was lied to at the Leesburg facility being told he could have a Gene yes and it and now we have a $300 bill.I would never recommend this out patient facility to anyone..I wish I could have given a minus 10 stars but unfortunately I am stuck with one star which I never would have given if I had a better choice... read more

Please don't ever send anyone here especially your kids, I was a patient not even 3 days ago and I have never been in a more unhealthy environment. One of the staff was being trained because she had never been on the adolescent unit before and one of the staff said "it's the same as the adults, you treat them as if they're incompetent except you need to make consent calls". The food was barely edible, but that was the least of anyone's worries. The staff were so rude and yelled at anyone for going up to the tech desk. We were supposed to have 3 calls everyday but the staff would tell us they're "about to start calls" and would coincidentally line up with the last phone calls of the day. I OD'd on Benadryl a few times and the staff still gave me it despite my mother's word against it and I had told them myself i misused it. My mother was not told they had given me 50 mg of Benadryl. This could've seriously turned deadly as my first thought when they told me it was Benadryl, was to fake taking the meds and stock up to get high. Luckily, I pushed the thought away and took them as given but thats just how careless these nurses are. Psych ward 101, you always check patients mouths before letting them leave when you give them meds. I never had to do this (other than the times I just showed them my mouth out of habit). The staff would provoke and instigate people's anger and I told them not to egg people on and they looked at me and told me I was too young to know anything. They also claimed a law in Florida didn't exist and since they were 40 they knew that, turns out the law is an actual law and very much exists especially in the same of Florida so whoever told me the Romeo and Juliet law didn't exist can suck it. read more

Quick note; I had an issue with my medicare part D aetna silverscript payment which terminated my agreement with them. In my neglect to pay my bill I had to reapply for that prescription benefit. Unfortunatly I will not be able to have silverscript pay for my medication this month which an extremely expensive medication. Lifestream Clearmont has an exceptional patient experience. I called the office and spoke to Gloria and she was impeccable in her efforts to offer a sample medication that is incredibly expensive but will be offered through the medical clinic. We will see as the month goes on if they keep to the promise of holding the label of the medication in my proxy. Thus far it is the best mental health facility I've had a relationship with outside private physicians care. Nearly 25 years in the mental health community as a patient, I've not had an experience as helpful as Lifestream has offered me. Horrible place who treat it's patients like garbage. I have never seen a place this unorganized and unprofessional. They treat their patients like they are nothing more than human filth. People go there for mental health and addiction assistance and they are met with rudeness. I saw many many people leave before they were helped or misinformed only to go back out and keep using and going without help. Sad situation this place is. read more

Lifestreams Southlake clinic in Clermont is the worst clinic ever the office manager and arnp humaliated me the office manager and arnp were disclosing my full name and said I was coming there to get zanax i was going from place to place trying to frangile the system is absolutley Untrue I was going there to see arnp to get into thier Aims program instead my privacy and confidently was violated i was humaliated my name was slandered and refused medical services with no explanation I do not recommend anyone to go here after what they made me endure and risk management and other staff read more

This is the literal WORST place that ever existed. The office staff is so incredibly rude, you can NEVER get through to them on the phone, and if you need to change your appointment because of an emergency they don't bother to put it in the system and they are even more rude when you show up and tell them that you have an appointment. Rudeness is definitely the last thing you want to deal with when you are coming here for behavioral health services to begin with... I would give them negative 5 stars but it won't let me. DEFINITELY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. After having to wait for 4 months for an appointment getting confirmation the day before I get a call 8 min prior just as I pulled into the parking lot saying my appointment was cancelled. 4 months and 8 min notice. I can understand situations occur and things happen however it was the lack of any kind of sympathy as to anything being wrong with the whole situation and was told they could reschedule me for the end of November. 2 more months!!!! That would be a total of 6 months for a single appointment. The whole office should be ashamed for the way they treat people and handle clients. Don't take and schedule appointments if you don't ever keep them or offer any kind of assistance in speeding up the reschedule. Not that you even care but I will no longer waste my time with such a horrible outfit and I recommend no one else does either. read more

This addendum to the previous review was done on 06/22/17, I am a patient of Lifestream, Clermont for the last two or three years! I was treated for my neurological and psychiatric conditions by 2 excellent phychiatrist physicians, Dr. Carol Couts who retired last year and with Dr. Valdes who replaced Dr Couts. Today I came for F/U appt with Dr. Valdes and for unknown reasons she now evaluates psychiatric pediatric patients only and they put for my evaluation with a Nurse Practitioner, Mrs. Edeline who when I entered the office in a rude manner and with attitude told me that she was going to diminish or discontinued my anxiety medication and that she was not going to treat me for my neurological condition treated before by phychiatrists in Lifestream Clermont, because she said that when my neurological condition deteriorated I will need a neurologist! I told her that in my treatment for my Bipolar disorder for the last 30 years the anxiety medication was prescribed to me by my Dr. In Puerto Rico to prevent aggressive reactions to my family! After I came to Florida, Dr. Couts and Dr. Valdes treated me with medications for both my neurological and psychiatric disorders for the last 2 or 3 years and I was stable and they always refilled my medications without problems! In summary she told me that she was going to refill my medication for 6 month's and to get a evaluation by a neurologist and that on the next visit she was going to diminish or discontinued my anxiety medication although I told her that with that medication I was not aggressive with my family! In summary although I got a F/U appt with this Nurse Practitioner in 6 months, I am going to cancel all appointments with Lifestream Clermont and will find a new phychiatrist and a neurologist! I will never step foot in this place again and I will not recommend them to anyone! After the visit I was very depressed and very disappointed with this nurse practitioner! read more

My sister had to go here, and came back completely drained. The staff was rude, gave her a panic attack, and she couldn't sleep because she was so scared. She was traumatized when she was taken here. She feels even worse than when she arrived. This is one more painful experience that she has to deal with mentally. They did nothing to help her. Please, get your staff together. read more

My last visit was unacceptable, it was 4 hours after my scheduled appointment before I was seen, this is happened on three previous occasions the doctor seem to rush through appointments and have no care or concern for me or my problems, she seems to be nothing more than a pill pusher. read more

I agree with the person above. I been here for many years and this is no doubt the most unprofessional place I've ever been. They are very disorganized in appointments and can't commit to a solid schedule. Every time I go, if the appointment isn't cancelled, no matter what quack you choose they always take ages in the waiting room due to an "emergency". The docs here are a jokes that have no idea what they're doing. They hardly pay attention but are the first to judge on any given situation. The nurse apparently doesn't have prior knowledge to the basics of putting on a blood pressure cuff. The receptionists also have the worst attitudes, and blames you when they book the wrong date and time as well because of their laziness. These people give 0% care and just perscribe more medication each time so they make sure you come back for more. Do all yourselves a favor and don't even waste your time, money, efforts or emotions on these lowlives. It's not worth it. read more
