My son is indigent and has severe emotional issues needs serious care and has been seen here twice…read moreand no one can help him they tell him to stop being so emotional and this last time did not give him another appt....Because he is loud and upset they said he was disturbing the people in the office he needs serious help it is a serious situation and all they tell him is to calm down his therapist can't even talk to him she just dits there and makes him more agitated by not listening or being helpful..You cannot reach her by phone she bid not given her messages and basically does not want to help him...He is in a crisis mode and people who are supposed to be your lifeline to help you just say you are being disruptive when he is trying to get his point across...He needs help desperately and no one ever gets back to us my and I have tried calling to no avail and have been told they only have one phone line and their walls are thin and he should calm down so as not to disturb the other clients ...What they fail to realize is he is loud because he is upset for not being able to get the help he so desperately needs...I should have looked at the one star review before going and was lied to at the Leesburg facility being told he could have a Gene yes and it and now we have a $300 bill.I would never recommend this out patient facility to anyone..I wish I could have given a minus 10 stars but unfortunately I am stuck with one star which I never would have given if I had a better choice...

One of the staff was being trained because she had never been on the adolescent unit before and one of the staff said "it's the same as the adults, you treat them as if they're incompetent except you need to make consent calls". The food was barely edible, but that was the least of anyone's worries. The staff were so rude and yelled at anyone for going up to the tech desk. We were supposed to have 3 calls everyday but the staff would tell us they're "about to start calls" and would coincidentally line up with the last phone calls of the day. I OD'd on Benadryl a few times and the staff still gave me it despite my mother's word against it and I had told them myself i misused it. My mother was not told they had given me 50 mg of Benadryl. This could've seriously turned deadly as my first thought when they told me it was Benadryl, was to fake taking the meds and stock up to get high. Luckily, I pushed the thought away and took them as given but thats just how careless these nurses are. Psych ward 101, you always check patients mouths before letting them leave when you give them meds. I never had to do this (other than the times I just showed them my mouth out of habit). The staff would provoke and instigate people's anger and I told them not to egg people on and they looked at me and told me I was too young to know anything. They also claimed a law in Florida didn't exist and since they were 40 they knew that, turns out the law is an actual law and very much exists especially in the same of Florida so whoever told me the Romeo and Juliet law didn't exist can suck it.

It's not that there aren't any around, it's that they don't have any they can recommend and ask YOU to let THEM know if you find a good one! After trying another office for awhile, where I didn't feel listened to, I gave Dr Sonny Joseph a try. 7 years later, I feel heard and would recommend him to my GP or anyone looking for a psychiatrist. I also appreciate the office staff. When I need to call them they are always easy to reach and very helpful and friendly.

She over charged me for sessions where all she did was talk about her issues or made excuses for her mistakes. She screwed up prescriptions and blamed me for it while refusing to fix her errors or respond to the pharmacies inquiries. She got me banned from several pharmacies for writing a prescription for a medication I wasn't on and didn't ask for, and sent the same prescription to the wrong pharmacy 6 times causing CVS to refuse me. She also refused to contact any pharmacy to answer questions about her prescriptions. She charged me for 4 sessions to change the same medication that no longer worked but refusal to confirm with the pharmacy led to being untreated resulting in the loss of my job, and many life consequences that she didn't care about. She the medically abandoned me twice once for passing drug tests she was trying to use to justify me being abused and the second for blaming me for her mistakes and her failure to follow her own policies. She changed the doses of my medication when I first saw her without my knowledge or consent resulting in me dropping out of medical school. She plays favorites and will not be there for you when you need it. I trusted her and almost lost my life several times for it to be medically abandoned. I used her for 7 years and paid $140,000 and all I have is record of her own life problems and no chance to find treatment. Hopefully you are someone she likes because she will neglect you otherwise
