I called around hemet to different chiropractic offices and all of them were closed or they they didn't have appointments open until a week from the day I called and I was in so much pain. I ended up calling Lifestyle last and they got me in the same day. I was VERY hesitant about going to a chiropractor because I was terrified of them accidentally injuring me or making it worse. I put my fears aside because of the excruciating pain I was in. I started going here after I injured a muscle in my back in February 2020. I came here for a month or more and they relieved a lot of pressure I was feeling. I honestly wanted to cry after my first visit because of how much better I felt right after the appointment. This office is very professional and the staff and Doctors are knowledgeable and welcoming. I would recommend everyone to check this place out. I've been seeing Tina for acupuncture and she's amazing. I just had my 3rd treatment. I was having Migraines, about 5 a week, and since getting acupuncture I've only had one. I also have had hip pain, from a fracture, for many years, after treatment I'm able to walk on my hip without pain. If I hadn't experienced this myself, I would never believe that acupuncture could help so much. I was on 6 different medications (including a narcotic, that I hated the side effects) for the above mentioned problems and now I don't take any of them. Appointment at 4- arrived at 3:45. At 4:15 was informed that they were running late but that I would still receive the entire 60 minutes. A few minutes later I'm wondering if they have another client after me and was informed that yes- at which point I offered to reschedule to take the stress off of all involved.....they said no- everyone will be taken care of- they shared that the office staff had over booked and intended to get all in. Did they ask if I had that extra 30 min available I my schedule? No. Do you think the therapist was in the calm state one should be I to deliver a massage? Or was she exhausted from being overbooked all afternoon? It is physical work-. Clearly they only have greed in their plans with no concern for their clients schedule, the therapist, or the proper energy of a massage business. I love this place! It's easy to call and make an appointment and the appointments aren't so far out. They can always fit me in on my schedule. They also call you back around the time of your appointment and you're not left waiting in a room forever. The ladies in the check in area are always super nice. I see Dr. Kim for acupuncture and he's legit. I've seen him twice now and he's very knowledgeable and helps you tackle your problem areas. I have blue shield and I pay my copay for acupuncture/chiro. The first time I went I decided to book a massage along with acupuncture for my next visit and they did my massage first for an hour then my acupuncture after. It's so much more convenient when you can get both things done one right after the other. Lindsey did my massage and I did the therapeutic option for an hour and she's insanely good at her job. Location is easy to find (right inside Rabobank building). Office staff was friendly as well. They also have chiropractic and massage therapy services. My acupuncturist was Carolyn and she is so awesome! We went over my history and why I was there and after the treatment, I felt so relaxed and great! I went their for sciatic pain but then was told that it wasn't. Having the pain before I knew it was but I listened to what he had to say and decided to go along with it. After 3 seasons and 160 dollars later all he did was increase the pain and had to go to the ER because I couldn't take the pain anymore. Dr Michael Monahan earns 1 star for intentionally causing harm plus his poor quality of chiropractic care which I originally put up with only because I had been very happy and satisfied with the Acupuncture at this location. If I was only rating the Doctor of acupuncture who practices at this office I would rate at least 4 stars. However my experience with the primary Chiropractor has caused me to pursue a complaint because he purposefully aggravated my spinal condition will full awareness that his tactics would likely cause me pain. I suffered a compression fracture to a thoracic spinal vertebrae and Dr Michael Monahan pressed down on my shoulders with at least 20 pounds of his body weight after he received the results of a MRI imaging radiological report and images. When I returned to complain and ask Doctor Michael Monahan WHY did he knowingly push and press down in 2 different ways on my torso? He told me it was a test to identify what would the effect be! I have personally gone out of my way to avoid lifting more than 5 pounds of weight due to the severity of pain that I suffer from. Just consider that this chiropractor who I trusted with my spinal treatment care 'intentionally' triggered SEVERE Pain after I had engaged with an MRI imaging of my spine to clearly identify how an auto accident from June 29th 2017, 8 months, prior had seriously aggravated and destabilized a serious condition of a collapsed and severely damaged Thoracic vertebra #8 that would have left most people paralyzed. After Doctor Michael Monahan had engaged in actions which are opposite of the Hippocratic oath of "Do no harm" which he certainly did cause me severe pain with full awareness of the likelihood his actions would result in severe pain to my back and body... his actions were very painful to me and irresponsible as a chiropractic practitioner. I had introduced my Mother to this same office and she actually stopped allowing chiropractic adjustments by doctor Monahan because she was fed up that after a few of his spinal adjustments had resulted in MORE experience of pain than when she first arrived to the office hoping for relief... she said she felt worse the day after too! My Mom did also very much appreciate the skills of the Doctor of Acupuncture, she is indeed AWESOME and the ONLY reason this office has 5 stars from so many other visitors to this office. Consider doctor Monahan drives/travels 45 miles from Escondido, California to Hemet. Quite unusual is what I thought. After my very painful experience at Dr Michael Monahan's hands, I discovered that there are several very qualified Chiropractors and I prefer Chiropractors with over 20+ years practicing experience. I decided to pursue writing this complaint after discovering that this Chiropractic office staff 'Did not send forward the correct billing information' to "Temecula Valley Imaging" despite I emphasized to this office to specifically only bill the responsible party: the Auto insurance's $100k MedPay/PIP (Heads up dear reader! What is YOUR auto insurance policy offer as far as MedPay or 'Personal Injury Protection' = a "Extra" crucial policy that Guarantees financial coverage for needed + required services for and even though I provided the same MedPay/PIP information at the time of service their billing department still continued to pursue me for a "Co-Payment" until I took time out of my busy schedule to respond and to correct the matter myself. Be it known: If you look up the info for this address of this office, you will discover; The original proprietor/Chiropractor JEFFREY MARRS who initiated this 'Lifestyle Chiropractic + Wellness' business was brought on charges for groping 2 of his patients in 2012 and was convicted in 2015, including for charges of Sexual battery. I understand that the Kind office staff including Kim Marrs have kept the office active especially with High Quality acupuncture which I have certainly appreciated... however the chiropractic has been such a bad experience for me. I was surprised that within a couple of weeks of treatment, once I went to a different and more skilled Chiropractic specialist, a pain in my upper back/thoracic spine was resolved after more than 5 months of suffering with a misalignment Doctor Michael Monahan was unable to treat even once. Lastly, the Massage "Therapist" is a recent 2016 graduate who seems to only know "feel good" type 'Swedish' massage, I was disappointed to the point I refused and declined any further massages after my 3rd massage with her because she ignored when I said "Do not touch or massage my neck due to serious pain to the touch", Why would a massage therapist try to insist on massaging an area that is 'painful to the touch'? read more

I have been a steady patient for many years. Suffering from chronic pain since 5 low back surgeries and 1 neck surgery, pain was constant and at times excruciating. I was here the second of November, which was a Thursday. It's like a "God-send" that I found this place!! I found them via a free health fair at the Menifee Valley Medical center October 28th, where they were at a booth. I went there specifically to have my spine evaluated, since I have chronic, debilitating back pain due to a few issues including, but not limited to scoliosis (since a teen) and an auto accident that left me in constant pain from an upper back fracture. Well, to make a long story short, the gals scanned my back and showed me some areas of concern. I wasn't surprised, as it confirmed my knowledge of my upper back problems. I also took advantage of the free one-minute acupuncture treatment (which I had on my right shoulder). I've been curious about the benefits and efficiency of acupuncture and now I am a fan! My pain was instantly gone for at least a couple days straight! I almost cried and the acupuncturist, Dr. C.K. Chun was informed and gracious. She explained briefly to me the results science behind the blocked nerves being released to increase blood flow and healing (due to increased oxygen). I have TWO acupuncture treatments scheduled before the end of this month and am looking forward to it. I love the staff here as they're friendly and professional.
