This is the first time I've seen a chiropractor and it's been a good experience. The doctor sets up a treatment plan and every week I seem to be progressing. The assistants are very friendly and helpful. It's nice that there's rehab after an adjustment in office. I have never felt my mental health so disregarded and unimportant in my life until I started seeking potential support and guidance from LifeStance. I first want to say I am a College Student studying medicine. I was trying to seek mental health support as it is constantly praised to be aware of, yet failed at finding comfort for this sensitive topic. First, I want to say how unprofessional and hurtful it was to read, I was diagnosed with conditions, I was never verbally informed about. I was made aware when I looked at my patient portal. I saw a total of three providers, referred to and from each other, yet none of them seemed aware they were referred to by someone of their own company. Two. After attending a few therapy sessions with Tami Byrd I soon realized there was no plan or notes being taken every session. I had to schedule every appointment myself which was a circus in its self. I was never called to follow up and the few times we met I was informed within the hour that she had to reschedule. This was difficult to do as I'm a full time employee and Part Time Student. When given a task to practice at home, I had to reach out to seek the resources she suggested I use to complete the tasks so we had the results to talk through the next session, which sometimes never even happened. I felt I was recapping everything we had talked about the previous session and eventually felt as if I was just talking to talk. I also felt she would try to persuade me to think a certain way to make a point, but it made me uncomfortable, especially when it involved loved ones. On our second session she referred me to a medication management doctor/ psychiatrist without my consent or any sort of a conversation or heads up. I called LifeStance to ask why I was referred to a psychiatrist, but nobody knew. I was only told my therapist had referred me. We had a few more therapy sessions after the psychiatrist appointment was scheduled, but she never asked me about it or acknowledged she placed a referral in the first place. Three. When I met with the psychiatrist, Dr. Baig-Ward, she placed labs to be done, but never informed me I had to fast which in turn was a waste of my time. I went to Quest Diagnostics where they also didn't know if I had to fast or not and bruised my arm horribly. LifeStance eventually messaged me back, after my labs were complete, informing me I had to fast. I then had to go back to Quest and get new lab results. I met with the Dr. one last time and was informed multiple times there was another patient in the waiting room and she had to end the call soon after she was 15 minutes late to our appointment! In this session we were supposed to meet to speak about the labs and further discuss medication, but the conversation of starting medication started before labs were even discussed. In fact, I brought up we had to discuss labs before making the decision to start a medication. I believe it was her first time viewing my results based on her reaction from viewing them which also was unsettling. She did not recognize which results were fasted or not until a few minutes later after I questioned her a few times. She wanted to increase my dose the next time we met, 2 weeks from then, which was uncomfortable as people don't usually notice a change until a month into the prescription, per her and other medical provider findings. Lastly, I reached out to billing via portal on two seperate occasions and never received a response. I finally decided to call and after an hour of back and forth I was informed to reach out to my insurance. They did not seem to know how to resolve the singular question I had. That particular representative was kind, but when I spoke to billing one last time this morning, representative Jasmine, rudely told me that I should know what I had paid for, after telling her I was unaware of a payment I was charged for, and later hung up the phone before I could say "thank you". Front desk LifeStance Frisco has always been kind to me, no issues ever, but all the other providers/ representatives I have spoken to made me feel unimportant and have truly made me question why mental health is so pushed to be attentive too, yet they have done the complete opposite. Mental health does matter and it's too bad this company can't seem to understand that. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Chad for over 8 years now. I went initially after having my baby and 6 months later was physically unable to bend over to pick him up. I go now for regular maintenance after many years of sports, daily wear and general aging aches. Highly recommend - you don't have to live with chronic pain. read more

I am really shocked by the lack of communication from Dr. Chad W. I started being a patient back about 5 months ago and was very impressed by the practice. He helped me with my legs and sacrum being out of alignment. At our first consultation, I explained all my prior surgeries, etc. I was really impressed! Starting in late November, they added Dr. Henderson. I was scheduled with her instead of Dr. Chad. I was a little uncertain about this change and asked if she knew my history and if I should only see Dr. Chad W. I was assured by the scheduler that I would be fine. She adjusted my back and added a shoulder adjustment. She popped my arms, wrists, elbows, fingers and I left feeling ok. But over the month, I had some pain and inflammation in my surgery shoulder. I called the office to let them know and was assured Dr. Chad would call me by end of day. That was Friday. I asked if he was in the office and they said yes he was and he was seeing his patients. No call. :( So Saturday I called and left a voicemail. Today I received a call from Dr. Chad and he left a voicemail and I called back but could not leave a voicemail and never heard back from him. The voicemail was full or not set up. That was at 1:30pm today. I saw my surgeon today and my shoulder is intact and mobility is fine but I need to continue to take anti-inflammatories. I share this because at the beginning of my initial meeting with Dr. Chad, I wanted to believe Dr. Chad cared about me and my health as his patient regardless of if I am seen by him or his associate. But when I had a concern, he did not prioritize contacting me. Nor returning my call after 4 days. It seems I am just a number to him. That is not the kind of doctor, I choose to see. There are doctors that truly care and make time for their patients especially when there is a problem. They even call after hours or provide their cell phone number. That is not my experience here. Dr. Chad, it doesn't matter how many marathon medals you hang on your walls. What matters to me as your patient is how you treat me, whether on your chiroractic table or when I have a concern. Booth set up at our apartment complex advertising a "free" SPINAL SCAN and chiropractic manipulation for $20.00 donation. Sounded great! I call and was told there would be XRays and Scan at apt 1 then apt 2 come back, once staff research my insurance, to discuss plan and cost. Asked for a copy of my receipt showing where my $20 donation went to. Staff said never did that before did not know if they could. Called the number numerous times and number is Verizon and message was call could not be completed as dial- check number. Later- phone was obviously forwarded to a very staticy phone line and rude staff member. read more

The 2 stars are for the quality of the doctor himself. Dr. Chad is great. I would highly recommend him medically. However, his staff isn't so great. There was one good staff member who worked there who seems to have disappeared. The others apparently scheduled me with the wrong doctor one day. And then sent me to the back to be treated with a doctor I'd never met before. Between copays and insurance, they'd made hundreds or thousands off me by this point and the treatments only help for a few days at a time. Know that when you get cornered by his staff at a random art fair or wherever it is they recruit you---you will be roped into weeks of treatment, not a few appointments. The doctor himself, again, is great. Knowledgeable, gives back to the community. However, I won't be returning. Why? I walked out mid appointment because I was absolutely in shock when I was approached by a different doctor. I'm sure Dr. Daniels is wonderful, but I had been a patient of Dr. Chad for over 2 months, 3x a week. And you don't want someone you're not comfortable with manipulating your neck. So I left. No one approached me. No one called me. No one bothered to check why I stopped showing up for treatments. No apology. They tend to book patients in mass quantities and are always overbooked. Anyway--fast forward to today. Two month after this happened. I got a call from Lifestyle Wellness Center. Asking if I would like to be booked again with Dr. Daniels...who wasn't my doctor to begin with. I told her the situation and how disappointing it was that I hadn't heard from them in two months and that I didn't receive an apology or any concern leaving mid appointment... She said they check inactive patients after two months, that she understands, and call them if I want an appointment. Again. No apology. I hate writing this. Truly. Because Dr. Chad is a great doctor. But there are equally and better rated chiropractors all over DFW whose staff won't waste your money, time, or dignity. read more

I was skeptical and nervous when deciding to go to a Chiropractor for the first time. A close friend recommended I go to Lifestyle Wellness Center. I have had back pain for years and was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia about a year or so ago. Dr. Chad and Dr. Garrett are sincerely interested in my problems and have helped me immensely. As silly as it seems, I have been unable to wear a hat since being diagnosed with occipital neuralgia, but in the last two weeks I was able to wear one for a full day. Dr. Chad and Dr. Kim are the best. I was in a car accident in 2013 and after a month of pain and the gradual inability to move my head I relented and found Dr. Chad and Dr. Kim at a race in Plano (no I was not in the race). I reluctantly made an appointment to see Dr. Chad. I never had been to a Chiropractor and was very afraid of having someone "pop" my back. Dr. Chad did x-rays and another scan and showed me how messed up my neck, back and even hips were. He laid down a treatment plan for me that consisted of adjustments and physical therapy. I was TERRIFIED when I went in for my first adjustment. I will be honest it was just awful. I never wanted to hear those kinds of noises coming from within my body. The next day I had my second treatment, this is where I told Dr. Chad that I hated him. He was not my friend. Once I got into my second week of treatments I all of a sudden realized that I could turn my head, I wasn't in as much pain as I had been. By the time I finished my treatments, that did not go past the amount of time Dr. Chad had originally gave me. I was pain free, I could turn my head freely, no more popping or grinding in my neck!!! I love Dr. Chad!!! Now I see Dr. Kim for treatments on my feet. They have helped tremendously. I even have my husband seeing Dr. Chad for adjustments on his back.
