Jonathan does!!! 1) I had already been through this process with another company so I understood the grade of springs and realized that the ones that Jonathan installed were two grades higher yet the price he charged me was less than they did as was the service not to mention the fact that I had to make an appointment two weeks in advance with these guys and Jonathan skipped in and out for me. 2) Jonathan didn't try to upsell me at all I actually asked him about replacing the opener and two bent pieces of track. He fixed the bent pieces of track and told me that my opener would probably be good for another 20 years so he didn't try to upsell me anything. He wouldn't even let me pay for his In-N-Out Burger. 3) I really enjoy supporting family owned businesses and the fact that he had his son with him and that he was showing him the ropes just resonates with me. Other companies either insisted on sending someone to the site or they provided a ridiculously broad and expensive cost range. This was not the case with Allroads Overhead Garage Doors and Jonathan. After learning what I was looking for, he not only provided the cost, he was willing to schedule the work promptly but did not pressure me to decide on the spot. Upon arrival, I quickly learned that Jonathan is VERY knowledgeable and informative. He clearly explained how the entire system works and how we can extend the life of our system with proper cleaning and lubricating. Then, BEFORE installing the opener that we agreed to, HE cleaned & serviced the system and lubricated the door hinges and roller tracks explaining that he "didn't want to sell and install a new opener on a door that wasn't going to operate smoothly." The kind of guy that promises you the best in the world. Well when they delivered the door to install it the door was still wet from the stainer Door Pros had stain it. They swore it would be fine! Fast forward to 2026. I have had Door Pros out over 20 times to try and get the door properly working but every Tom, Dick, and Harry (smokers who smelled like a tobacco factory) they sent must have never been to garage door repair school. Joe the lead technician in the beginning told us the door needed to be taken off and sheetrock cut out so the door would run properly. The next Joe Schmoooo told us something different. So every guy that came out in 3 years had a different story. The last guy 2 months ago said it was installed wrong and he would have the owner call me next week but NEVER a call back. I even spoke with Josh the owner a few years ago and he said they would make it good. We finally said GOOD RIDDANCE to Door Pros. They aren't Pros at all. Just a company that gives a lot of talk and gives you no action. We called another company in SF and in once visit they told us Door Pros had installed the whole door wrong.
