Nice people, but the dogs spend too much time in a cage due to limited staff. Large and small dogs are put together which can intimidate a dog. No way to go outside when they want. Also outside is concrete which is too hot for there paws. Great place tosh offer animal merchandise and great people. read more

I love this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I bring my dog here once or twice a week for daycare. While some reviewers didn't like the boarding area for the dogs, I can say that my dog LOVES it! I just have to mention "daycare" and he excitedly runs to the car. He loves the people there and they know the pets they watch well. Just a head's up. You do need to schedule a 15 minute interview for your pet before you can board them for any length of time. I appreciate this, because I know that my dog is only playing with other sociable dogs that can handle playtime. read more

I take my puppy to Lifetime Pet for daycare and he LOVES it! He comes home exhausted and passes out everyday and has made some doggie friends while being here! All the staff are super helpful and nice! They know my puppy by name and get sad to see him go at the end of the day! The daycare prices are amazing compared to other places and have a 10 day, 15 day and 30 day pass which are an even better deal! I definitely recommend this place to any doggie parent needing a place to watch their dog! read more

Has everything I need for my dog. Food, toys, treats, and boarding. Knowledgeable staff and ownership. A tucked away prize in Olathe for your doggy. If you need grooming or nail trimming for your dog there is a shop next to Lifetime than can take care of it. This location has offered dog training in the past, not sure if they have anything scheduled as of this post. read more

My dog stayed at Lifetime Pet several months ago for about one week. This was not his first time here - he had also been boarded at multiple places and never had any bad experiences/anxiety issues. When I picked him up, he was lethargic and had large sores around his nose/mouth and on his front paw. I called Lifetime Pet and they said they hadn't seen sores or noticed any illness, but did mention that he had bloody stools - they had a vet examine him but did not contact me about this. He could not keep food or water down after I picked him up, so I took him to the ER and they gave him medication. When I called back, the owner was defensive and reminded me that they get great reviews and many repeat customers. When I brought up the symptoms my dog had and asked how they weren't noticed or why I wasn't contacted, the owner said they usually don't call owners "over a little anxiety." He refunded me for the stay but wouldn't pay for the ER visit. Ownership seemed more concerned about protecting their reputation than making sure my dog was okay and refused to take any responsibility for what happened. On a positive note, they have a lot of natural food/treat options and the rest of the staff was always very friendly and accommodating. For this instance, I'm not sure if they were too overcrowded or just weren't playing close enough attention, but after this, I could never recommend this place again. Note: my dog was OK after about a week and recovered well. I'm posting this review so that others know that not everyone has had a great experience at this place, and I hope that the owner has worked with his employees to ensure something like this won't happen again. read more

A local pet store for small pets to large farm animals. This store has it all to help out a animal lover. The name has recently changed but the service is still great. They also offer doggy day care and boarding. Then with a groomer a couple doors down, it is a perfect location right under the new Olathe rails in the air. read more

We absolutely love this store! The workers are so friendly, they have great prices and when you have questions they are happy to help and don't act like you're a bother. We go here instead of petsmart or petco because of the service we get here. read more

For merchandise- they have a great selection and sometimes I get coupons in the mail. For daycare- I would NOT recommend this place. I have asked to go back to see their play area and noticed there was no one back there watching the dogs. Whenever I come in all employees are either coming from the break room or at the front desk looking bored. The owner is VERY nice and plays with the dogs sometimes he also remembered my dog and me even when we hadnt been in for a while. The employees are extremely rude on the phone and sometimes in person too. I ignored all of these concerns until I found nasty bite marks and scratches on my poor puppy. She was being bullied and hurt. This is not okay and I am now very angry that they never watched her enough. I have switched to camp bow wow in Olathe and am very pleased that I can see my pup on online webcams and can see she's being watched. I would not recommend this place if you care about your dog. read more

If you are looking for a place where your pampered princess has its own individual kennel and little to no contact with other dogs, then Lifetime is not for you. If you want a warm, inviting place for your dog to be socialized with other dogs in a caring, supervised atmosphere, then you've found it. The staff is friendly, super helpful, and obviously loves all the animals that walk through the door. The store portion stocks a huge variety of food, treats, toys and equipment. Our dogs love it there, practically running through the door to get inside to play with their friends. read more
