We called 5 or 6 different places before calling Tristens Towing and everyone had a 2-4 hour wait. Tristens Towing answered after 2 rings and told my husband it would be 45 minutes and the price was a lot less than what all the others were charging on top of it all. And they hooked up and were on the way to my house within 5 minutes of them getting to us! Definitely will use them again if I ever need a tow, crossing my fingers I won't need a tow truck for a while if not ever but they will be my first and only call for sure!! When I tried to start my car up after the trains, it wouldn't start so there I was by myself trying to push my car to turn it around so I can get it facing the other way in order to roll it downhill and pop start it. And all these cars just kept coming and driving around me where I was trying to push my car that direction making me stop every time so I couldn't get any momentum. But you think they stopped to help hell no. So I was there 30 minutes, trying to get my card by myself. This guy was on his way home from work and didn't have to stop and help didn't have to offer anything for me. He not only stopped. He picked up my car and drove me home and didn't charge me. Do not hire this company…read more This company prioritizes what is convenient for them over any burden they place on the public around them. I had a horrible interaction with a driver dropping off a car for a neighbor on December 4, 2022. The driver rationalized that because it was most convenient for HIM to position his truck across the street, and block traffic in both directions, everyone else who needed to get through to their own homes and to complete their own responsibilities could (i) either wait in the road or (ii) backup and go around the block. To be clear, there was no emergency. There was no imminent threat to life or other property. The driver could have pulled in front of the house and dropped the car on the street. The driver could have pulled his truck back far enough into the neighbor's driveway to allow traffic to pass around him. With no consideration for the burden placed on others, he chose what was easiest / most convenient for him. What was worse, when I finally got his attention, he came out into the street to my side of the car with tool in hand, raised voice, telling me the choices were wait 15 minutes or go around. He would not even discuss repositioning his truck so that I or the other cars waiting could get through. He walked off telling me to call the police if I didn't want to go around. His conduct (and his client's) scared my twelve-year-old daughter, who was sitting in the front with me. She worried that one of them would become violent and cried when we arrived home. After comforting my daughter, I called the company to report the interaction. I introduced myself and why I called and the receptionist hung up on me. I called a second time - no apology for cutting me off. In fact, there was never any concern expressed. The receptionist offered the same alternatives: go around the block or wait. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or owner, I was told that none were available on weekends; that I would have to call back tomorrow. I asked for the name of the driver and the receptionist said he was not authorized to give that information. All the receptionist could do was contact dispatch to confirm it was a company driver. This company failed to properly train its drivers on how to drop a car off and staff on how to deal with public complaints. Further, management/owners insulate themselves with protocols that apparently give employees free rein on nights and weekends. The company ethic is apparently "Do whatever you want and tell people to call the police if they don't like it." The receptionist didn't even ask for my contact information. I had to volunteer it. I will be shocked if management calls me back.

I was north and west of San Antonio, near Medina Lake, when my truck got stuck in 4WD. I was about…read more55 miles from home and did not want to drive that distance stuck in 4WD. I have AAA and they dispatched Alpha Towing from Devine/Natalia, Texas, which is south and west of downtown San Antonio. Alpha called me to get directions to my location because I was visiting friends at their ranch, with no "landmarks" nearby. Alpha informed me it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours to get to me because they were finishing another tow and it was just a long way to drive. After another phone call they arrived right on time and loaded my truck carefully and efficiently. The drive to the repair shop was a bit hairy because of construction, narrow lanes, lots of traffic and it was very dark on 1604. The Alpha driver handled the hazards with no problems. The driver and his wife (I believe his name is Roger) were courteous and took care to ensure my truck and I arrived safely and stayed with me until my ride home arrived. Alpha Towing has my highest recommendation!
