The first incident, I went in to visit my friend who worked there - he wasn't working and the man behind the counter had his head down looking at his phone so I left especially since I wasn't acknowledged. Next thing I know, the man chased after me around the corner and yelled through a crowd of people "Was everything okay?! Did we not have something?!". I felt harassed and racial profiled frankly... it felt like he was insinuating that I'd stolen something.. TWO years later, I decided to go back - big mistake! First of all, the cashier advertised "buy one, get two free" while it was actually the other way around so that's a slight yet significant difference... The real issue was regarding the ID machine. One of the men behind the counter looks at my ID and said "mmm it looks kind of weird" despite it being a real Florida ID.. He tries scanning it and it doesn't work but I let them know it has issues scanning at the airport sometimes but I can verify another way.. Then another worker comes over, admits to never actually using the scanner and the first guy says "well look. Something looks off about this ID".. So they fiddle with the machine for a 5 more minutes then I just tell them to give my ID back so I can go somewhere else. As I was walking out of the door, I heard "Aw yeah it was fake." Honestly I just laughed it off and took my business elsewhere... Looking youthful isn't a crime USmoke!
