Having the ability to vent, seek advice or just receive validation from other moms who "get it" was valuable for me, as I adjusted to being a new parent. It also served the purpose of helping me learn to get out of the house solo with my son on a regular basis in those early months, which built my confidence. Learning tips and tricks from the facilitators and other moms was a great perk - new parenthood can be so isolating and you can get in your own head about milestones. These groups helped me *breathe* and realize every kid is going to change at their own pace. Highly recommend facilitators Zena and Bobbie, my son loved them (and I did too!)

The class size was limited to a good number so as to keep things intimate. I really enjoyed the theme and hearing from the other moms. Between the mat setup with blankets, the exercise balls, the nursing pillows, and the basket full of toys, my daughter and I had everything we needed to have a great time! I also really loved the "goodbye song." I definitely be signing up for a package of classes. This group is unlike any other mommy group around (in a good way)!

Not only does the staff help with my indecisions, but they are also knowledgeable about all-things car seats, pumping, breastfeeding and more! It feels like a full-service experience and I am so glad they offer so many services and support in my city; I don't ever have to go elsewhere. Easy parking in the street or in their lot in the back. More importantly, their website said the stroller I wanted was in stock and available in 4 hours for pickup, but when I got there it wasn't available for purchase and it had to be ordered. When I brought it up to the cashier, he said it was because they have it in store their inventory but not at the store? Huh?? After doing more digging I saw there was a "Terms and conditions" asterisk in fine print you have to click on to find out this information. All I saw was the green check mark that says "In stock and ready for pick up in 4 hours." Any other place I have ever been to- this would mean it would be in stock at the store. When I brought up, calmly, that this was confusing and they should fix it because I drove two hours to get to the store. The cashier said nothing. Not a "Aw geez, I'm sorry. I can understand your frustration and why that's confusing." I'm a reasonable person. I've worked in customer service all my life. The demeanor of the cashier alone has put me off from ever visiting this store again or recommending it. We went to Uppababy a few blocks down and they were SOOO kind that it completely made my day. All I needed was some kindness. To the owners of the Pump Station- the people using your website are most likely VERY tired moms. I personally am getting 3-4 hours of sleep a day. Tired moms need clear signage if something is in stock or not. Time is precious in this season of life. We also need KINDNESS. My body is broken and recovering from giving birth. I am exhausted! I would expect a place who sells baby items to understand this. Overall, would never recommend this place and will tell everyone I know that it was an awful experience.

I couldn't even figure out how to hold her to breastfeed, let alone get her to latch. Exhausted, emotional, and panicked, I reached out to Sarah that day. Sarah came to my house the day I got back from the hospital. From that first visit onward, she became such an incredible source of knowledge, encouragement, and reassurance throughout our entire breastfeeding journey. No matter how big or small the concern, she always responded within minutes whenever I had an emergency or needed guidance. Knowing she was only a message away gave me so much confidence during a time that felt incredibly overwhelming. What truly sets Sarah apart is that her support went far beyond breastfeeding. She empowered both me and my husband to feel confident as new parents. She encouraged us to step outside our comfort zone, even helping us build the confidence to take our baby out in public for the first time. What once felt intimidating became manageable because we knew we had her guidance and support. Sarah was there from the very beginning until the end of our breastfeeding journey, cheering us on every step of the way. Her kindness, compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication made an immeasurable difference in our lives. I genuinely don't know how we would have gotten through those early months without her.

I've had two kids graduate from her toddler program over the last few years and I can't wait to enroll my third child when the time comes. ECDA is a wonderful preschool prep program and support group for parents and care givers alike. While the children learned and played in one room, the parents stayed close by to participate in group discussions each week. It was a great way to check in and have the opportunity to ask questions and talk about what worked and wasn't working for everyone. It really helped me navigate parenthood and all the challenging times that arise during those first few crucial years of parenting and raising children. The class notes that get emailed to everyone ahead of each class have been so fabulous to use as a reference point on numerous occasions. I don't know what I would have done without Marilee and all of her wisdom. My children still talk about her and her classes and especially love to look back at photos and videos of their time spent there. The support, knowledge and friendships formed by attending these classes have been simply priceless!

Every week, there's also a new parenting topic that caregivers discuss in a circle as the children do their activities in a different room, supervised by fun and caring teachers. I can honestly say that reading the handouts every week, learning from my nanny about her takeaways, and occasionally dropping in on the classes has made me a better parent this past year. I am more compassionate and empathetic to my child, I have better social and psychological tools to create consistent boundaries, and I know that I have somewhere to turn whenever the latest crazy stage of toddlerhood hits our household (tantrums, potty training, picky eating, poor sleep, aggression). I never felt judged or lectured. I always felt supported and uplifted. And on a personal note, Marilee was able to identify mild sensory issues (sight, touch and hearing) in my toddler. Marilee taught her (and us!) simple coping skills to avoid becoming overwhelmed by her fears and emotions. Without these insights, there's no doubt that I would be treating these sensory issues as "disobedience" and trying to punish her for them, which is frustrating and hurtful for the kid and ultimately counter-productive for the family. I wish every parent had access to a group like ECDA.
