Jana from Brown-Eyed Girl seemed to have exactly what I needed... great photo's and a great price! ...it was just an added bonus that she was super sweet and fun to work with! She came to our house for the photo session. I was a little nervous at first because the session is timed and of course I was thinking worst case scenario (my baby screams the whole time and I end up with maybe one good shot if I'm lucky)... but that wasn't the case at all! There seemed to be plenty of time and Jana was amazing with him and calmed him down as needed throughout the shoot. We have so many perfect pix! All of the photo's turned out AMAZING! ...and here I was just hoping for one good one! I have gotten so many compliments on them. Also, capturing those brief moments when he was teenie tiny is probably the best decision my hubby and I made because he is now 4 months fitting into nine month clothes! It's a good thing we didn't hesitate on getting them done! My husband doesn't know it yet but I am already brainstorming ideas for a first birthday shoot! ...And Jana will definitely be the photographer of choice!

I love Ashley and Lacy to do my kids pictures, they are patient and understanding that 2&3 year olds don't always want to do what they have in mind. I will not be going back. The photographers here aren't supplied with appropriate photo editing software so there is a good chance you will need to adjust the light settings, saturation, or contrast on your home computer and then have the photos re-printed somewhere else. The photographer was nice, but remember that this is a chain (not a local establishment) and the corporate entity forces policies that don't put the customer first. Below is a quick summary of my experience: 1) Forced to take photo positions that I didn't want which wasted my limited photo set 2) Rushed experience all around 3) Wasted an entire background set (out of four total so a 25% loss) because the light balance was all wrong so I looked terrible and the black background wasn't even black, it was a blackish-brown which defeated the purpose of having a black background 4) Washed out photos. I needed to increase the contrast on all of the photos to make the colors more vibrant and to make me stand out better from the background. They can't make these minor adjustments in house (which I'm able to do with free software pre-installed on my Windows computer) and they can't print the digital image I could give them so I am forced to get the photos printed elsewhere. 5) Poor customer service when I called to complain. Long story, but rather than providing me with another digital image in high resolution as some form of compensation for my bad experiences, they charged me $10 to obtain it! Offering the photo for free would have been a nice gesture to make amends for my bad experience, but instead they chose to eek out another few dollars. That was their last opportunity to make amends and now they've lost my business for good. In summary, I paid $69.99 plus tax for three mediocre digital images that I need to improve myself then pay more money to have them re-printed elsewhere. Think twice before coming here.

Little did we know this would be one of the worst decisions we could have ever made. In the contract they were supposed to have given us portraits that we never received. As if that wasn't enough, even after asking countless times for our video they never gave it to us. Despite us asking numerous times it took not only months, but over a year for them to let us know that they lost all of our wedding footage. This was devastating to us as people that were not only in those videos but who also left video messages have since passed away. We have no video of our very special day. I can't quantify the amount of stress and devastation this has caused. If you are searching for a photographer/videographer for you special day, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want to ensure you will have your memories properly captured and your contract honored to its fullest. He was deceptive regarding his services and professionalism and in the end it affected so many things for us.
