The "veggie omelet." Like they just poured scrambled eggs over a salad!
    Jake D.

You can tell the people mean well but holy smokes one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. All six of our party barely ate the food. Apparently it is all microwaved?? Why can't I have normal fried eggs at breakfast spot?? We actually thought the waitress was just joking when she said no, and that she couldn't "put the egg back in the shell." Coffee was horrendous. Truly don't know how this place is in business. It's like someone demoed their kitchen and is serving hospital food out of it. A heads up - the "red chili" breakfast burrito is ACTUALLY CHILI. Like, bean chili. That should be clarified as that is NOT the usual definition.

Green Chili Breakfast Burrito. It's served vegetarian - no need for meat when it's good!

Amazing food and wonderful people and exactly what I needed for my first restaurant experience since Covid started. Everyone is wearing masks and their tables are set up in a way that encourages social distancing. Luckily there was only one person on the patio at any time while I was here but it looks like they have good pick-up/delivery business. I'm glad to see that everyone is observing good practices. The burrito was delicious and I understand why they are on the "Epic 3 Day Restaurant Road Trip" guide for Colorado. Absolutely great pricing and you get coffee with free refills for it and it up being a $14 tab after tax ($17 after tip).

Famous Green Chili Burrito More thumbs up than I have

I can't say enough good about this place The Famous Green Chili Burrito is one of the best I've ever eaten. The service is top notch and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. My riding partner declares that you must get the Papa Bear it's worth staying an extra day in town just to eat one.

    Excellent spot!

Great spot! Very friendly crew and the food is delicious! They even brought a bowl of water for my little doggo. Peaceful and shady patio was perfect. Try this chibata breakfast sandwich and the mini cinnamon middles!

This is another place. It's got great food. The cook is the owner and he works real hard.

I mean, we could not get enough. If you ever get a toast, make sure to ask for their fruity syrup. It's just WOW. Also, get their bacon - Starvin' Arvin's can make bacon right. Everything else is alright. We came in hungry and wanted a bit of everything. While we enjoyed their bread, pancakes and French toast, it seems like we ordered the weakest dishes in the joint. The chicken fried steak, hash browns and green chili omelet were okay. The steak and hash browns were lacking flavor on their own, so you really had to make it your own by adding seasoning or getting a touch of extra gravy. The green chili omelet has a lot going on. It's pack full of a variety of flavor, but when one component doesn't work, it's like the whole dish struggles because you can't pick it out of the dish. The place felt like an old-school diner which is something to appreciate. It has a nice parking lot around the location, and it's rowdy in the morning like you'd expect from a place like this.

I let my boyfriend pick the restaurant not realizing they didn't sell alcohol. The waitress seated us at a huge corner table for just the 3 of us. After not even a minute of looking at the menu she asked us what we wanted, so I asked for a Bloody Mary. The waitress laughed in my face and said "yeah right, me too". So then I preceded to ask for a mimosa, thinking they didn't have tomato juice. She then let me know they didn't serve alcohol, so I said just waters fine. I still can't believe she laughed in my face, how rude! Then she comes back to ask us to move!!! Not only was that extremely inappropriate but it was my birthday . Then after we got up they didn't even direct us to which table they were moving us to. The table was still right next to the table beside it, is in touching our neighbors table. The guy sitting there even had his phone on our new table! Then after we order we realize my boyfriend had left his phone at the other table. When asking the new group sitting there if they had found it they said they turned it in. The staff didn't even think to ask if it ours even though they moved us from there. Then the waitress acts like she's doing us a favor by sending out a cinnamon roll. Well after we left we realize we didn't actually get a free cinnamon roll, there was only one brought out and my friend had ordered one as a side and never received it, meaning all 3 of us ended up eating the cinnamon roll that was supposed to be hers. Not only did the entire experience bum me out on my birthday, but I will definitely not be recommending this place or ever stopping back by. The ambiance inside was okay, and the food was good, but the service was atrocious.

Got chicken quesadilla appetizer for the kids, 1/2 rack of ribs, and street tacos (one pulled pork, one grilled chicken, and one beer battered cod) with beans and cilantro rice. The service was kind and I picked it up on time. The orders were hand-written on the boxes. Inside the store was pretty standard for a Southwestern style casual dining restaurant. Dark walls, decent lighting. So as far as affordability...here's where it fell flat. I'll say, the food was all flavorful. If it was taste alone, it would be a 5 star. BUT... The street tacos were comparable in size to Del Taco's street tacos... so...not much. For the price point, not worth it. The "1/2 rack" of St. Louis Style Ribs had a total of 4 ribs. Like...would their 1/4 rack only have 2 ribs?? The best value item was the chicken quesadilla, but we paid extra to sub sour cream for the salsa (my kids can't handle "spice"), and it came in a SMALL condiment cup. Ultimately, we polished off our dinner and had to supplement everything with other foods. Which we'd be fine with except at the price we paid, anywhere else would have easily left us satisfied. Ultimately, it was good and people were kind, so it just amounts to a big sigh.
