I received 5 bids for a new roof all within a week. Jerry called the solar panel company to negotiate a lower price for removal and reinstallation and included that cost in my bid. He dealt with that so I didn't have to. The crew removed old shingles and installed a new roof that day. Came back the next day to roof my storage shed. They cleaned up and left better than new!! I am impressed with the workmanship and the Malarkey Shingles. They are made from recycled tires and plastic bottles. The new owner, Dave dropped by the day the solar panels went up and another day. We called to get an estimate on an repair and replacement. We were told that they have a 300 dollar minimum for repairs. We asked if this was invoiced for an estimate, the very rude woman said no they don't charge for an estimate. We asked them to send someone out to give us an estimate. Several days later an entire roofing crew showed up to "do the repair ". We explained that all we wanted was an estimate for repair or replace. The supervisor was angry and called the office they were rude and angry that we would not let them do the work. They sent us a bill. No one ever looked at the roof and no estimate to fix or replace. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever. They are rude, arrogant, crooks. Call Ace or Mountain roofing both stellar. Christman Roofing does not stand by their work. They reroofed my house in 2012, but neglected to put flashing between a roofline and the second story wall. It was just a matter of time before it leaked. Now they are too busy to make it right. My Christman roof leaks. read more

My landlord called them to give an estimate on our roof. When they got to my house they never knocked on the door and just started working on the roof. When I called the company to ask why they did not knock before they started working she told me that because they were called out they had no reason and she saw no problem with it. I told her that I was very upset and if they were going to someone's house they should knock, after I had told her that she hung up on me. I would not recommend them at all expecially if it is for your renter or if you have any dogs.... mine is still very nervous after they showed up. No idea if they're decent roofers, but incredibly rude people to deal with. I called about a roof repair following a windstorm and was told they had no idea when they could get to my house, but it would likely be 3-5 days. Was literally laughed at by the woman on the phone. I asked them to give me a call when they had a better idea, and I called another roofer. The other guy fixed it the next day. About an hour after the repair was finished, I got a call from Christman, who said, "You guys are driving me crazy! You get all these calls and you're driving your ass all over town, and they've got it fixed already! It's like, why call?" Well, how about: I called you first, but you told me you were unavailable for almost a week with an impending snow storm. Not about to let my roof sit there and leak for your convenience. It's also certainly not uncommon in construction industries to get estimates or inspections from more than one company. If you have a problem with that, maybe find another business. Re-roofed our building. Shingles blew away. Was forced to fund a second roof. Stay away from this guy!

They have decades of experience and it shows in their work. They are detailed and time efficient. They came highly recommended and now I know why. They are worth the wait, because a roof done properly is important. I got a lot of estimates and although this one was slightly higher I know the roof will last. Some of the estimators from other companies could did not even have insurance to show they were legitimate. This company is a 5 star and I recommend them to anyone who wants their roof done right. read more
