Just before this branched closed up at 7pm I received a call from my daughter explaining she had locked her keys in her car and asked if I could bring her spare. I explained I was on my way but she needs to stay indoors until I got there. Sub zero temperatures plus post work out sweat, winter jacket and minimal clothing make her chances of exposure to the elements increasingly hazardous. However, she informed me the front desk staff insisted she could not stay indoors after 7pm. My wife called the front desk and pleaded to keep her indoors and out of the freezing cold but was rejected. I then called and pleaded and then insisted on her safety and I to was also rejected. We were only asking for a short grace period. We were asking for the well being and safety of a current member and only for a short period of time. I was told by this uncompromising and inconsiderate front desk staff member that "insurance doesn't cover that.." and they were "..done with this conversation.." at which time they handed the phone back to my daughter and said to her that I "..was being an Asshole" and loud enough that I could here the insult over the phone! I call this a total disregard of compassion, professionalism and respect. I call it a total disregard for the safety and well being of another human being.

They have an indoor pool and outdoor pool. However, the membership only covers the indoor pool. The outdoor pool is extra. The cycling room is nice. They have an indoor track, which I love during rainy days or summertime when it's too hot to be outside. Since they've reopened after the Covid 19 shutdown, their hours have changed, so check before going. They have small classes for every level. They now have classes online. However, when registering them for summers following, they insisted on participating in the full 2-week overnight camp, no shorter. CS offers a variety of experiences and activities and keep the kids engaged. They look forward to going back each year and always seem to return home more independent than when they left.

The staff are from all over the world, and many were campers there too. The senior have been there for many years and are always so friendly and know my kids! I can't say enough about this place. Caroline's husband, Bill, and daughter, Jane, help with barn operations, feeding and caring for the horses and menagerie of dogs on-site while expertly matching horses with riders of all ages and levels. The barn is beautiful but not fussy. The horses are friendly, well-mannered, and well-loved, and the lessons are safe and fun. My lesson groups have changed as I've aged, but I'm constantly challenged and enthralled with my weekly riding lesson at Ashford Farm.

Bride requested this location…read more First and foremost the server taking care of us was lovely, super accommodating and took great care of us!! The space was beautiful. Didn't make a stink the day of because our server was so kind and we had such a great day, but if you're looking to plan an event there are definitely things you should be made aware of. Planning and preparing for the event with the event coordinator was a bit of a pain and that pain continued into the event itself. Communication was not great, emails taking days or weeks to respond and can't get anyone on the phone. We had to reschedule a meeting due to a medical issue on her part (which was totally fine) but there was no communication on the clubs end of things (even after I called the day of the meeting and was told someone would be getting back to me, no one did). We later had to reschedule another meeting which was this time my fault. The week of, after requesting it, I was sent the invoice for the event. The invoice was not accurate so I asked for it to be adjusted and was told it would be sent back.. it wasn't. Day of the shower one of the bridesmaids was first to arrive and the coordinator did not bother to show her to the room or say hello, introduce herself, nothing. During the shower there was not lemonade and iced tea on the tables as I had discussed with the coordinator. We get to the start of food and I notice after everyone has already eaten that the rolls and butter were never put out, the waitress says she wasn't told and scrambles to find us rolls and butter. When planning with the coordinator, we discussed doing a mimosa bar for the purpose of cutting cost on a full bar and bartender, she failed to tell me that the champagne bottles they sell are $45 a bottle, it was NOT cheaper than doing a full bar. All in all for the cost of the venue ($600 room rental plus food and beverage plus a 20% gratuity on the ENTIRE bill, not just food and bev) there are DEFINITELY better places to host your event. It's a shame because the event space is beautiful, but it seems as though the event coordination is lacking tremendously. I wish I would have read more reviews before booking because it seems as though these aren't new issues.
