Yikes where do I even begin. I picked up my car from Joe Hudson's on 4th and noticed a horrible…read morenoise, I booked a diagnostic with Subaru to find that my car is missing parts and my alignment was wrecked (Joe Hudsons worked on my alignment) or atleast they said. They also left my old tires in my trunk. I had to deliver them back, when I arrived I let them know about the diagnostic and they had to reach out to the insurance covering the costs (not mine) I've been reaching out and they have been terribly unhelpful. Please stay away from this shop! They are neglectful, and prioritize getting your car out before your safety.

Two months went by, and the repair cost skyrocketed to 23k within that time frame - totaling the vehicle. To make things worse, every single week I was promised a new completion date, only to have this completion date moved back by a week two to three days before I was set to pick up the vehicle. Throughout the repair process, it was a constant loop of being told that repairs were on track and everything was looking good through text, but when I would actually call or physically stop by the shop, it seemed like nothing was actually being done. For example, one day I went by the shop before work to check in on my vehicle - I had received a text earlier in the day that all of the needed parts had arrived and that my car was still on track to be completed in the next couple of days. But, when I stopped by I was told that repair costs had actually reached the 75% total loss threshold and repairs were currently paused on my vehicle. Whoever was sending the texts "updating" me on my vehicle clearly was not in communication with the repairman for my vehicle. Customer service was where everything went wrong in my opinion. I thought maybe I was the only one having these issues, but one day we were waiting in the lobby at the same time as someone else. As we waited for their "end of day meeting" to end (it is every day from 4-5pm) the front desk lady clocked out, said "just yell at em if you need to!", and left. With this me and the other women couldn't really do anything but laugh at the irony. As we waited an additional thirty minutes after 5pm for the meeting to end she expressed similar frustration as her son's vehicle had been in their shop for three months, and she was having the same problems as me. Overall it was a miserable experience. If I wanted anything done or any progress to made, I had to borderline call every single day. I would be told "We will call back as soon as we hear something from insurance!" And days would go by without a call. There was no follow through in terms of communication. I think a lot of this had to do with understaffing, and a heavy load of work on the employees who were present, so I do not fault them personally. I understand that things unexpectedly come up, but going from 9k to 23k is absolutely asinine. Almost tripling the original quote is more than unexpected repairs, it is just plain incompetence. I think a more thorough look over in the beginning and proper communication would have made this entire process a lot better. If I were you, I would save myself the headache and take my vehicle to a collision center that communicates properly with their customers, displays transparency in the repair process, and values your time.
