Prices were very reasonable for the way the World is now. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye that comes with salad, baked potato and corn. The steak was huge! The salad and corn were both very good. Loaded baked potato was loaded on one side only. Not enough butter, sour cream for whole potato. The steak was cooked medium rAre, perfectly. However, there really didn't seem to be any seasoning on the steak. Others in our group of 7 said the same thing about their steak or chicken. Our waitress was very nice. It was 100+ outside, so that may explain why it was so hot in there! read more

Great food & amazing service! It is small, and parking is limited, but you won't be disappointed with your experience. It is fine dining with a casual atmosphere - steaks, seafood & local favorites like pork chops, chicken fried steak, and mac & cheese. Be prepared to put out some cash, but no more than any other "fine dining" restaurant with hand-cut steaks and lobster on the menu!! Highly recommend! read more

Waitress- really nice no issues Food- gross We started out with a crab cake for an appetizer. Worst crab cake I've ever had. Tasted like canned crab had been dumped into a strainer, squeezed the water off, thrown in some batter and fried. Bigger isn't always better for sure we took one bite and sent the rest back. Mashed potatoes were more like a smashed baked potato not creamy or whipped in any way. Chicken tough, catfish was ok but basically as good as a gas station fried fish. Thought we were going to have a sit down nice meal, ended up going back to our cabin to eat a $3 frozen pizza after a $70 meal. Best part- the rolls and butter in the beginning read more

We decided to go back and try it again. We had bacon wrapped shrimp. It was quite tasty! You get three shrimp which are very large. The clam chowder was of the New England variety and very good. The house salad greens were fresh. There were sliced small tomatoes and a bit of grated cheese. We both had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. They gave us knives when they served it. We needed them. The mashed potatoes and gravy were both runny and the steak was tough. Finished with chocolate cake which was average. The manager and wait staff were amazing. They were attentive without being annoying. They seemed genuinely happy we were there. Overall the food is good, wait staff amazing, but the cost point is high. It was over $70 for the above meal. read more

My wife and I had dinner here earlier this week and were pleasantly surprised. It's difficult to find a fine dining experience in the Grand Lake area, but the Lighthouse did not disappoint. I had their scallop dish and it was as good or better than the best establishments in Tulsa or Joplin. I plan to try their other dishes in the future and will definitely come back to this restaurant. The waitress gave top notch service and was very congenial. I found the entire staff to be friendly. I recommend this nice place without reservation. read more

Three of us had a great dining experience at the Lighthouse. We had Mahi-Mahi (perfectly cooked, which is unusual in my experience), chicken florentine (delicious tomato sauce) and grilled chicken (cooked and seasoned perfectly). I had a cold cucumber soup that was just outstanding, and the corn medley that came with each dinner was really good. Service was also friendly and very prompt, and they did a great job of explaining each dish. It was a warm, inviting atmosphere and our only regret was that we didn't have room for deserts that sounded fabulous. This was our first time here but we'll be back very soon! read more

They were out of a lot of things, including the stuffed mushroom appetizer and baked potatoes. We were informed about the shortage of the appetizer when ordering, but was never told about the shortage of potatoes, the entree was just served with a substitute of dirty rice. The pork chops were served without the sauce listed on the menu, and when questioned it was finally brought when the pork chop was all gone. The filet was bland and tasteless, my chicken was so tough I had to ask for a steak knife to cut it. After everyone was done eating we were finally asked about refills for our water glasses. read more

Delicious meal! Our 1st time to eat here. Bloody Mary's hit the spot. Salads were over the top good! My husband had the catfish and it was crispy with a great flavor. I had the chopped steak with onions and mushrooms and I would order it again. Full of flavor and filling. Over all a great experience. We will be back! read more

Bad experience on Valentine's Day. Spent 2 hrs. In restaurant, majority of that time was spent waiting on food. People were being served who had arrived after our arrival.Now once we were service the food was delicious. But management need to assess there operation. Dined here this past Friday night. Special was 14 ounce prime rib for $24. I'm usually skeptical as I love a thick slab of rare but it is hard to find around here. The prime rib came out a perfect rare plus about two inches thick and I'm sure more than the advertised size. Absolutely perfect! In fact reminded me of my favorite prime rib spot......Scotch and Sirloin in Wichita. Service was great, drinks were good and everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed the food. It's a classic in the town of Ketchum and one of the only sit down places to eat a nice dinner in the area. Fare ranges from shrimp cocktail, bacon wrapped shrimp and calamari apps, salads, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, pork chops and various steak choices. The menu is being updated according to the management so these offerings may change a bit. Service was good on a crowded Saturday and didn't take too long even though we were advised on being seated that there were 2 large groups ahead of us. Best steak on the lake. Consistent and always cooked to perfection. The service is great and wait staff is nice. It doesn't matter if you just got off the lake and you are wearing flip flops or if you just came in from a fancy occasion, your always welcome at the Lighthouse. Food is very good, priced for what you get, and the best steak around. We have been going to the Lighthouse for years, we are locals, and always choose it for a night out for steak. Frequent visitor every time in area. If you want a good place to eat, you should try this. Open WED-SAT. Full bar! Takes reservations but they usually are not needed winter-spring during week nights, gets busy during weekends and even more during summer with all the 'out-of-towners' coming to the lake. Never had a problem getting a table without reservations with only a short wait. Menu has wide range. The sign says "best steaks south of the lake" but truly the best filet on either side of the lake, the macaroni and cheese are sure to harden your arteries (that is a compliment), and steamed vegetables are nice al-dente.
