The short version - these guys are great and should be hired immediately if you need your windows and gutters cleaned. They were communicative, prompt with arrival and incredibly thorough with their work. The long version - same as above, but I'll give you more detail. Paul and Carlos were both incredibly respectful to us and our home and treated our property with a level of respect most contractors don't provide. They had zero issue removing their shoes before they entered, something that seems trivial, but many contractors seem annoyed with. & they never had to be reminded once, despite going in and out of the house north of 20 times. Paul get's a special kudos for discussing everything with me once they arrived and for also being the most effective worker I've ever witnessed. If everyone operated with the same urgency and effort that Paul displayed, most of the worlds issues would be eliminated overnight. & the most incredibly part was that, despite the display of speed, he STILL managed to clean the windows and gutters better than other companies. It's rare to see that type of speed and efficiency at the same time, but Paul nailed it. He was even kind enough to quickly clean the mirrors in my garage gym, which is now a problem because I will never be able to match that crispy clarity ever again! Desperately in need of gutter service before the Winter storms start to arrive, I searched around Yelp for a business to meet my needs. Lighthouse Window Cleaning was quick to respond to my Yelp contact and after describing my needs, I was given a price of $300 for a 4000+, one story home. Ok, seemed a bit pricy, but I am in no way going up on that roof and I know the gutters are absolutely filthy. Scheduling was quick and easy with Tessy and I got hooked up for a week out appointment. She was nice and efficient. Paying by credit card over the phone after the job was easy too. Chad arrived right on time, in fact 10 minutes early and surveyed the job. The job took him about 2 1/2 hours to fully complete. I really thought he'd do a complete water flush of the drains to get all the soot out, so I had him do it a second time, as after the first time, there were still pebbles, dirt, etc., in the drains. I thought it would take longer to flush out ALL the debris from the length of gutters on our home. He seemed to take pride in his work and assured me that they are clean. Not "Clean enough to eat out of," as he asked me if that's the way I wanted them, but I believe clean enough for roof water to easily flow through them during the coming storms. Maybe I should have asked for the "Clean enough to eat out of option." :) Our gutters are all cleaned and ready for the Winter storms, but I was however a little dismayed by the dumping of a 5 gallon bucket of mush, leaves, rocks, sludge, etc., etc., that came out of our gutters right into our front bushes. We pay people to keep them cleaned out, not to dump stuff into them. We have 2 very large trash cans on the side of the house. All he had to do was find them or just ask. :( That stuff that was trapped in our gutters can't smell good either. read more

After a couple of houses catching fire in our neighborhood-and buying a 30+ year old house...decided that we should look into dryer vent cleaning. Happen to get an email from Lighthouse Window Cleaning that also does vent cleaning. Had an appt within a weeks time Well..the 2 men showed up - early (yay!). Proceeded to use the snake camera etc. found out to our dismay that the vent is super clean--because there is a hole or non connection that is sending lint etc into the interior wall!!!! Thank goodness we opted to get our vents cleaned! Now we are fixing this issue...but a big shout out to this company for explaining to us what the issue was and how to fix it. They were fantastic so we had them come back the next couple of years. When we were getting our house ready to put on the market, they cleaned all the windows as well. The office staff (Tessy) is awesome and each of their employees are fantastic. Just the other day, we had some massive rain storms, and on the second story, we had a gutter that was flexed and water was pouring out over the edge. We called Lighthouse and they came and cleared the clogged drain the very next day. We asked how much we owe them and they said there would be no charge. WOW! Nick was personable, professional, and provided superior customer service! He arrived on time and greeted me with an upbeat and friendly demeanor. As mentioned on previous yelps, he showed me a video of my clogged vent with a special camera. I was shocked to see how impacted it was since I have had other dryer vent companies come out in the past to clean my vent. The other companies never showed me a video, so I know that it wasn't properly cleaned in the past based on the amount in the line. Nick also took before and after pictures of my roof tiles and was very careful as maneuvered through my house with equipment. Called them out for a one story home with 15 windows and a sliding door for a price I find pretty high but didn't have time to shop around. Scheduling was easy enough. They came out and "cleaned" the windows. Two days later, a Saturday morning , I open my blinds and have a look outside, specifically looking at the windows. There are spiderwebs smeared across the windows and dirt around the edges. They had been there, and they had done a crappy job. I call in. Twice to finally get a call back from the head guy and they schedule another visit out. This time is better, but not $150 worth. Shop around like I didn't do.
