I visited this store looking for new lighting for my dining room. The staff was very rude and seemed very annoyed that I was there. Was it because I didn't speak spanish??? I didn't go to buy a lighting fixture. They are tremendously gorgeous, but I'm in the 'fix it' rather than 'buy it' time of life. While not featured, they will sell you parts if they have them. Such as replacement crystals (variety), hex crystal chains, connectors, etc. Not a full-on source for parts to restore a chandelier, but a resource for if you need a few things. Caveat: Don't arrive in a rush. They look for one thing at a time. If it doesn't work, but something else might, it's back to the stock room. Totally separately, they carry a fabulous product for drip-dry crystal cleaning. read more

Wait for a call or visit from the Miami-Dade County Consumer Department ..... One of the worst experiences we ever had in customer service and product quality, don't even try the one page three syeps installation manuals, even an iKea manual for a $ 50 product is better than these poor quality Chinese lamps. We were very excited and  bought 4 lamps at the Miami Home Show in Miami Beach. One of the lamps, BTW the quality is REALLY bad for all of them, I visited the store 3 times to finish the wiring of this 11 light bulbs lamp, of course the manual is so bad that according to them the lamp should be installed in 3 steps. After 3 weeks the same lamp,  same one they finished the wiring, made short circuit for having stripped the cable of one of its bulbs line attached to the roof base. Went to the store but this time to ask for a new lamp or our money back ... at first they were trying to fix the cable and I made emphasis ... I WANT A NEW LAMP OR MY MONEY BACK ... then a guy named Andre showed up with a very bad actitud and he started to blame me .. like it was my fault ... He kicked me out the store and kept the lamp ... Well Andre (I want to see you when Miami Dade County Consumer Protection visit you, I have already opened Complaint file against you.)  ... it really bothers when he said that it was my fault to have caused the short circuit, when it was one of his  employee who ended the connection of his garbage lamp. PLEASE JUST GIVE US TO NEW LAMP OR REDUND OUR MONEY ... CHEAP LAMPS BEEN SOLD AS LUXURY AND HIGH QUALITY ALAMPS. read more

I wish I had started my search for light fixtures here. After being underwhelmed at Home Depot and Lowe's and not wanting to spend the fortune a couple of other stores were asking for chandeliers and bathroom fixtures, I decided to make one more stop before going online to buy my lamps and thank God I did. Ordered a product from this company online and paid thru PayPal. I was told that there's only a single staff that handles the order whom was extremely hard to get a hold of. After placing countless calls to the company to follow up for a status and waited over 2 weeks for product to get shipped and still not receiving a confirmation, I've given up and asked the company to provide a full refund instead. Since then, it's again been over more than another week and they're sitting on a few thousand dollars and not working on a refund. My experience with this company had been nothing but a disaster. Lighting Paradise staff and service were excellent. We came down from North Carolina to shop for our new construction home lighting fixtures; as this company came highly recommended. The staff took the whole day to accommodate for the short time we had to make selections and did not rush us at all. We had everything delivered to North Carolina in a timely fashion and love our fixtures. We did have a part that was missing, and after an email, the manager was quick to make sure a replacement was shipped to us here. We had to add on extra items that we hadn't anticipated needing until after the built, and again, the staff was efficient and very friendly and even helped me select via telephone and pictures. Our electrician even had a question about a fixture and the manager called immediately to address all questions. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I am so disappointed with this store and its management. My fiancé and I bought a chandelier for our dining room on Oct 04th/2014, and as of today Jan 19th/2015, it has not arrived yet! They messed up completely with the order and left us unaware of it. 1 month later I called to check on the status (should be arriving) and they said it had to be produced in China, lead time 28days. I honestly do not care where it is made as long as the deadlines are fulfilled. Since then they keep on giving me several excuses. Finally we decided to cancel the order and guess what? I live in Palm Beach and I went to every lighting store in my area. A friend recommended lighting Paradice in Miami. I went there because I couldn't find what I was looking for in Palm Beach. Yes everybody was so helpful and there was no pressure at all. I found exactly what I was looking for just what they did not have in Palm Beach. Unfair business practices. When I realized my electrical was not conducive to the item I purchased and never picked up, I was told I could not return the item. $850. Was lied to then challenged to call the credit card company to dispute the charges. AWFUL establishment. My husband and I bought a light fixture there and when the handyman was installing it we noticed they gave us a used lamp. I called them and they initially said they gave us the wrong box but then transferred my call to someone else who accused me of lying and saying the light fixture was new. They said I have no reason to get mad (having spend almost $400 on it) and also lied and said that they showed me the fixture before I picked it up which again didn't happen. They have NO IDEA what customer service is and couldn't care less to keep their customers given that this was my fifth purchase there. I also felt like not being a Spanish speaking customer clearly hurts my chances of getting assisted because they don't seem to consider me a customer. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. By the way this was for my nursery and I am 9 months pregnant being "accused" of lying. I am not sure why I would ever bring this kind of stress to my life if I didn't have a valid reason. read more

The staff and ownership at Lighting Paradise treated us so well when we decided to purchase all of our lighting from them. When we started building our custom home in Charlotte NC our builder suggested a few local lighting companies but after my wife did a lot of research she found Lighting Paradise in Miami. It didn't make sense to our builder why we would go all the way to Miami for our lighting but after he saw the installed lights and service Lighting Paradise offered he immediately saw the value. Every sub contractor that walks into our home (that's still under construction) can't believe how amazing our lights look. I sell custom homes in Charlotte and haven't seen lights like this in too many homes ever. I really appreciate the quick response by Lighting Paradise whenever we or our builder has questions. The staff has been outstanding and the owner has overseen the entire order, shipment and follow up questions. It was worth the drive with our kids.
