July 5th and haven't received the order - they created a FedEx shipping label on JUNE 26th (based on the FedEx website - and haven't done anything). Do not buy from them. I had the original box, receipt, picture of an installed fan they sent me (which was in the wrong box), and they still would not try to make anything right. Their customer service was to actually accuse me of taking a picture of another fan and not the one that they sent me in the box. I had to write this review because this is the main reason why I continue to support local businesses, excellent customer service! One of the fixtures I purchased from them stopped working. It was confirmed a manufacturers defect by my electrician. I couldn't find my receipt but they were able to look me up in their computer. They apologized for the faulty fixture and ordered me a brand new one. Everyone who works in the store is so helpful and pleasant. I hope they will be around for a long time. Horrible experience! Gave me a light that was missing crystals, which I spent at least $1,000 on, absolutely loved when I saw it in the store and I was so excited to hang it in my new home. They gave me the floor model. They didn't even apologize when I complained about the seven missing crystals. What one of their employees did say to my husband when he picked up the replacement crystals was, how bad did she curse me out? Really nice of him. He clearly thought it was a joke. By the time I noticed, the chandelier was already hung by our contractor. So now I have to fix the chandelier myself and hang the replacement crystals. I also wanted to change a light I picked and was told I could not get my money back and would only receive a store credit. Bad customer service for a customer who spent over 2,000 in their store. No one has a better selection than this store for lighting, even furniture, bathroom vanities, and mirrors. They have the friendliest staff and very knowledgeable in the lighting industry. They carry every lighting brand that exists from the cheapest to the most expensive so there's something for everyone. Any style you are looking for you will definitely find here! Even if you are completely lost and have no clue what you need to finish off the space they have decorators that work there to really help you pick the right pieces. Like most remodels there were delays and by the time I checked the box to see that it was the wrong shade of bronze 30 days had passed which is outside of there return policy. I emailed them explaining the situation and here is there response, "We received a message from _mazon regarding your return and I did speak to my supervisor regarding this. Please note that we can only authorize this return if the fan is uninstalled/unused, in original packaging and you are responsible for return shipping back to us. Once the fan is received and inspected, a refund minus a 75% restocking fee will be issued. If the fan does not meet these requirements, we cannot accept your return. I was trying to find a chandelier that turns out had been discontinued by the manufacture. I had spent hours on-line in search of it, calling many vendors when I called Lighting World and spoke with Joey he confirmed as the others had that it was no longer available, but suggested I consider a somewhat similar model and pointed me to the website with a picture of it. I have to admit my first reaction was that it seemed a bit over the top for what I had in mind. We talked about what I was looking for in the lighting piece and my decor/taste. He reassured me that he had seen this chandelier in person and it was beautiful and I wouldn't be disappointed. I took Joey's word and went ahead and order edit.
