I tried to replace them myself, but noticed a loose wire on the hardware of two existing smoke alarms. I requested quotes from 4 electricians to inspect the wiring, remove the old units and install the new smoke alarms. The quotes ranged from $1,200 to $800. Those quotes appeared to be unreasonably high since I was supplying the smoke alarms. Then I found the "Smoke Alarm Installation Guy." I text them and Dave responded within 12 minutes. He asked me a few questions and gave me a firm quote that was less than half of the previously quoted lowest bid. We agreed on a date and time. Dave was prompt, efficient and very professional. His quote was very fair, but most importantly, he didn't try to increase his final bill after seeing what had to be done. Dave installed brand new smoke alarms in my house 2 years ago. Last night I was kept awake due to the chirping of what I thought was a smoke alarm weakened battery. But after changing all the batteries the chirping continued to drive me CRAZY. I called Dave at 7.59 am desperate to solve my problem. I left a vm and within minutes Dave called me back. We troubleshooted the situation and within minutes Dave zeroed in on the problem. It was not the smoke alarm. It was the CO2 plug in ( which I had already unplugged). Dave explained the CO2 device ( which he had NOT supplied) operated on a back up system and despite being unplugged was still emitting the chirping which I mistakenly believed it was coming from one of the smoke alarms in the ceiling. WRONG. Dave told me to remove the back up battery from the CO2 device and keep it unplugged. Problem solved. I know this sounds like a minor issue but believe me the resolution of this problem so quickly with Dave's coaching was a huge relief. No charge! I will not hesitate to recommend Dave. He is an expert who cares about customer service excellence!

Next, Unify connected my Yamaha receiver to my second home's upstairs loft. Again, they ran the speaker wire through the walls and ran power and HDMI cables through my cabinets.
