My personal experience was amazing. About 3 years I got bit by a dog and unfortunately this dog left a scar on my left eyebrow. I somehow found LightTouch Medspa and Iris did my Pixel treatment. She did it all over my face, and it helped my scar on my eyebrow so much. I was super happy because this treatment was similar to the laser treatment I had started in Colombia but due to work I was no longer able to travel as much. Wendy and her coworker were absolutely no help at all. Although I planned to spend, it was clear that getting me to spend more without even knowing my exact needs, was of most importance. Had a horrible experience with my injector, Melina and her supporting staff after I wound up in the emergency room and was told by Vanessa, "you should've called the Spa first, we have professionals on staff to assist you in these instances"!!! As a recap, I went into Light Touch Med Spa to have a Botox procedure done as I do twice a year. In the last consultation, Melina recommended fillers to lift my cheekbones. On October 24, I had the filler procedure done . Not only did she not inject my cheekbone she punctured my gum line with a cannula on my jawline, and filled my under eye area where now I have huge bumps on my face and deep pockets of empty space which get deeper by the day! The filler injection she put on my jawline created a ball like mass on each side which is affecting my lymph node drainage. All of this can and has been documented by medical staff and is factual. I have suffered toxin shock to my body which also affects my stomach since it ran throughout my bloodstream due to the cannula puncture into my gum line. I have suffered Gastroparesis according to a Gastro surgeon when I had to have an Endoscopy to determine what is going on with almost two weeks of constant vomiting, lack of bowel control, headaches, and excessive dry mouth. Gastroparesis is where the stomach muscles and nerves are affected and basically severely slows down the digestion of one's food intake. I contacted the facility, Light Touch Med Spa and requested the Director to reach out to me to discuss my situation, and was told by Vanessa & Mary, Light Touch does not have a Director in charge of the facility merely an office manager!! In my opinion, Light Touch does NOT practice having their patients best interests at hand and is focused solely on selling services. Light Touch does NOT take responsibility for their negligence in creating this serious situation. My next step is to contact the medical board to advise them of the negligence that is taking place at this facility. My gum line should have NEVER been punctured with a cannula causing these toxins to directly enter my bloodstream!! I attempted to resolve this and suck up my losses and suffering by requesting in writing (via email) a refund of this procedure, as well as to have my emergency room deductible met and have not heard back from them regarding either reimbursement. not a person who likes drama, nor partakes in it but I feel this is something each potential person whom comes in contact with this facility should be aware of. My complaint is based solely on customer service. I paid a deposit toward a procedure but the deposit was not deducted from my final payment. I was told that while the deposit was on the system it couldn't be applied as no one knew where the money went. I was and still am extremely confused by this explanation. When I continued to question this I was treated very rudely. I kept getting interrupted and belittled about questioning such a "small amount". I felt attacked and ridiculed. I was worn down and finally requested to have the amount reflected as a credit. At this stage, I am writing off the amount and never stepping foot there again. First off, I told the receptionist there was no review and to prove to me or send me a picture of the bad review. Since when are consumers forced to change their opinions on services? After I asked the receptionist to show me prove of the alleged review- she said to me, that's alright hun and hung up. I will be reporting this to BBB and DBPR. I'm pretty sure steering people or showing retaliation is against business ethics and DBPR makes these folks take ethical courses to stay in business with the state. I recently had threads and fillers put in with Vanessa in Orlando. First of all, Vanessa is great to work with! These procedures are not without pain, but Vanessa does her level best to make you feel comfortable and get you through. She also helps you to spend your money efficiently to get the best results. She takes her time and schedules your visits to do procedures the most effectively. The threads are a great tool to do some lifting. I would suggest taking Arnica tablets, starting a few days ahead of time and I also put Arnica gel on my face that morning of the procedure. I continue to use both products for two weeks after the procedures. I had the procedure done on a Friday afternoon and went to work on Monday and no one noticed that I had some swelling and bruising under my makeup. I had the same results when I had fillers too. It's still too early to see the final outcome, but I am happy with the results so far! read more
