I brought some comics in to trade since another store I've frequented (that's North an hour drive away) does trades. Absolutely not here and the guy told me, "we're like Walmart, we don't do trades." I paid the $3 and left. If you're in there for Funko or new age comics it's probably a great store. If you're going for TCG be prepared to pay high dollar for scalped products and "minty" raw cards.

CoC have a good selection of new and used comics as well as figurines, cards, books, and more. There were also a few tables set up where a number of people were playing games (maybe D&D but I'm not sure). I perused the new and used issues and didn't find any of the specific issues I was looking for so I ended up purchasing two Comic Book Grab Packs for $7.99 each. Each package includes 10 comics and I wanted to get something. They also have a stamp card in which you get a stamp for every $10 spent and once you collect 10, you get $10 off your next purchase.

If you have young children that are struggling to start reading, you should consider starting them on comic books and getting them to actually read the words in them because it has been proven that children who start with comic books tend to learn to read younger, and then read throughout their lives . Obviously, you should only buy things that you feel are safe for your children, and there is always something to fit that bill.
