The atmosphere of Lilia inside and out is quite well done. I really like the architecture and it kind of takes you out of Brooklyn. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the focaccia (the star of the show with the green garlic butter), gem lettuce and two pastas: sheep's milk agnolotti & spaghetti with pine nuts. Both were good but I actually liked the spaghetti more which happens to be a "sleeper" on the menu. oh and we also got the cherry olive oil cake & mixed vanilla and chocolate gelato with sprinkles and although the gelato was tasty, it did melt quite quickly! but we'd still give this spot a 4/5. would love to come back and try more dishes!

I've been walking past this restaurant allll summer & finally made my way in! This spot did not disappoint. We got the focaccia bread, little gem salad, agnolotti & fettuccine to split. The focaccia is a must try - the bread is sooo soft & I loved the parmesan flakes on top. The butter was also amazing. The agnolotti is also a must try. This is a top 5 NYC dish for me. The flavors are insane - the saffron, sheep's milk, and sun dried tomato combo is sooo good - I could have drank the sauce. Little gem salad was good - nothing out of this world, but a good green to balance the meal.

I came here with a party of 2 on a last minute RESY reservation! Our server was very polite and was informative as well as helpful throughout the evening. We ordered the housemade mozzarella, grilled clams, prosciutto with parmigiano butter, malfaldini, sheep's milk agnolotti, and the olive oil cake lastly as desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish we had! The pasta was great and everything came out in a timely manner. The grilled clams were my partner and my favorite appetizer dish! We sat outside on a nice warm but not too humid evening. Would likely come back on a special occasion as reservations are very hard to come by!

I randomly chose this restaurant to meet up with some friends for dinner. We were seated at the bar and had a wonderful experience. Although we had a reservation, we waited quite a long time for our seats so one of the hosts tried to make it up to us with a glass of prosecco, which was a nice touch. Overall the service was excellent, the food fresh and delicious, and the decor had a modern industrial feel with warm touches. The open kitchen and visible oven added to the vibe. I definitely recommend this restaurant and would consider going back even though I live at least 30 minutes away. Fantastic!

Reservations are harder to come by so I had to settle with an early 4 pm meal. I was seated immediately as they opened. Service was attentive and friendly, and I did not feel rushed at any point. I wasn't too hungry so I shared their popular focaccia bread with green butter and sheep's milk agnolotti. Focaccia 5/5: best focaccia I ever had, it came hot and fresh out of the oven. Crispy on the outside but so soft inside, topped with a delicious parm. The green herb butter was so smooth. I loved this dish and would come back just for it Sheep's milk 4/5: they're like ravioli stuffed with smooth, melt in your mouth cheese... the sauce was light and sweet from the honey. It was so unique and delicious (technically a 5/5 but I personally am not a fan of sweet pasta and would likely try something else next time) I hope to come back another time for that bread and to try one of their other pastas

I came to Lilia for dinner with my sister and we had a great time! We had a reservation, and everyone was incredibly kind. The service was great, and our server gave us great recommendations. Inside has lots of seating and it is moody, more of a date-night vibe. We ordered three pastas and two appetizers. All were overall great! They are known for their focaccia, and it was good! Definitely one of the focaccia I have had, most end up being too oily but this was perfect. We also got the mussels, and they were good as well, the butter sauce it is dosed in is not too heavy and pairs well with the bread. The Mafaldini was the biggest portion size, and it was also good, but we preferred the other pastas more. The best pasta was definitely the agnolotti!! Though the portion size was smaller, every bite was so delicious. Overall we had a great time here!

dined at Lilia for the first time, and it generally lived up to expectations. I love true interior space and design, as it feels like you're in a spacious, elevated barn. We weren't too hungry this day, so we tried the grilled clams, sheep's milk angolotti, and grilled whole orata. My favorite was the angolotti, as it was rich, a little sweet from the honey, and loved the sun dried tomatoes on top. I almost wish there were more tomatoes as the flavor complimented the pasta so well. The grilled clams were pretty good, and so was the grilled orata - all the flavor profiles are rather light, so if that's your preference these dishes fit that palate.

Second time dining at Lilia. It was just as good as 2 years ago but with higher prices! We snagged a 645pm easy and were able to get seated a bit earlier. I ordered a vodka martini and it was great. For our food, we shared the: -housemade mozzarella on toasted bread -mussels in herb butter -Black Sea bass with roasted potatoes -French onion ravioli -agnolotti -warm apple tart for dessert Everything was absolutely delicious. The sauce from the pastas was so good - i should've asked for some more toasted bread to soak up the sauce! The fish (a bit small) was cooked perfectly. The dessert was served warm and was perfectly sweetened. My favorite part of the meal was the pasta of course - can't go wrong with anything here! Service was also great. Our water was always filled.

I've been dying to try this spot but was quite underwhelmed by the food. We got the focaccia to start which was good but nothing special. The mussels and agnolotti were probably the stars of the show. We also had the fettuccine with lamb sausage which was good but again, nothing special. Service wise, the staff was great and very attentive. The food came out extremely quickly so we were in and out of the restaurant which wasnt a bad thing but an observation. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to Brooklyn to come back but that is just my take! I'm glad I was able to experience.

The service was what put Lilia over the top. All of the staff we interacted with was so great. The focaccia and green butter lived up to the hype but the star of our dinner was the pine nut spaghetti. We had the goat cheese ravioli and it was good but we asked our sever what she'd recommend and she said the spaghetti and it did not disappoint. I'd pass on the scallops, they were great but for two small scallops it was too pricey. Immaculate vibes, great service, and incredible food.

Went to Lilia for Valentine's Day and had a great experience! We ordered the housemade mozzarella, scallops, mussels, agnolotti, and lamb leg steak to share. Everything was delicious. The Italian Job for dessert was great too. I've never had olive oil and fennel pollen on gelato before, so was pleasantly surprised by how well it all blended. The service was great! She was super friendly and attentive throughout the night.

Lilia is one of the toughest reservations to get in Williamsburg, so I was excited that my friend scored a resy via Amex Gold. Even then, we had bar seats but works for parties of two. To start off, the bartender/server started us off with some celebratory champagne that was quite nice. We also each had a cocktail: Manhattan ($23) and Milano Sour ($21). The drinks are pretty, yet classy. When we ordered our food, a number of the dishes we wanted were out --it was an unlucky night for us. We ended up ordering the Mozzarella Toast ($18), Mussels ($22), and Kombucha Squash ($21) to start. The mozzarella is nice, but nothing too special. The mussels were bright and refreshing with a nice green herb butter served in such a unique way. The squash was also quite unique and highly recommended by our server, which was super flavorful. It had a nice meaty texture with sweet and savory notes. Then came our main pastas: Agnolotti ($31) and Mafaldini ($28). I usually love a cacio e pepe, which was their version using mafaldini noodles. This was just ok, but the agnolotti really blew my mind. The sheep's milk cheese stuffed in the agnolotti was so velvety and luscious. This was something so new for my taste buds. Definitely recommend and suggest sharing two pastas for texture and flavor variety. To end the meal, we got the Italian Job ($15), which was one of the best soft serve vanilla gelato topped with olive oil, honey, sea salt, and fennel pollen. It's pricey, but damn it's delicious! I have to say, there are some hits and some mediocre; but the ones that hit were so unique and delicious. Highly recommend the mussels, squash, agnolotti, and Italian job. Trust me, you have room for the Italian Job at the end of your meal!

revisited lilia after many years and had a great time but wasn't as blown away as i was the first time. the negroni was spectacular. bar seats were such a vibe. the bartenders were great - super nice and informative but not overly chatty. sheep's milk agnolotti was the favorite by far. i felt like the mafaldini was a little boring. overall had a great time and would definitely go back and maybe try something other than pasta

Can you sit at the bar and order from the dinner menu?

Yes, and there is also new outdoor seating.

How is accessibility for someone with a wheelchair?

I know that the Caffé is easily accessible by someone in a wheelchair. The restroom is also easy to go to as it's on the ground floor of the main restaurant. I am not sure about the restaurant itself. I also think that the outdoor seating of the…

How do you get a reservation? Do they open reservations at a certain time on Resy?

Yes! Best way is about 3-4 weeks in advance, select the date you want to go and open yourself up to all hours then hit "notify".

How do reservations work? If you look at their reservation link it just says it's booked up for months?

I think at the first of the month, you can make reservations for the month. Or stand in line at 5p for walk ins. It is totally worth the hassle!!

Do they have dairy free options?

Keep in mind that they don't modify anything on their menu, but there seems to be a few items that are dairy free on their menu

    Any gluten free pasta options?

None of the pastas are gluten free

Is Lilia open tomorrow (Sept 3) during the Labor Day holiday?

What is the reservation system for this establishment? I tried Resy few times and it's always booked and only possible to check for less than 30 days ahead. Can anyone explain what's the deal?

Are there any gluten free options here? Or is it a total drag for someone with Celiac?

    No gluten free options

    Any info on Prices?

While pricey, definitely not excessive considering the quality of food and service. Entrees in the $20-$35 dollar range.

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.
